I've been having an issue receiving my yahoo mail on my device (BB Curve 8530) for about a week now and have tried everything I can think of to resolve it, but nothing has worked.
OK, about a week ago I got about 3-5 yahoo emails on my device from Yahoo Answers. I logged into Yahoo on my laptop and there were 20+ in my account, many of which I hadn't received on my device. The following day the same thing happened and the next day I received no Yahoo email on my device but logged in on my laptop to find that I had 10 emails in my yahoo account. So I went from getting only a few of the emails to getting none.
I tried a battery pull, which fixed it for a very short time, then I went back to getting no yahoo email again. I tried sending service books as well as registering via the host routing table, both gave me the same results, fixed it for a short time then went back to getting nothing at all. I delete then undelete the service books. Again, fixed it for a short time then went back to getting nothing at all. Last night I deleted the email account from my device altogether, performed a battery pull, then setup my yahoo email again. It fixed it for about 24 hours and now I'm back to getting nothing again.
In the meantime, if I send myself an email from my google account to my yahoo account, it will go through and I receive it on my device. If I send from my device using my yahoo account it also goes through. But 90% or more of the messages I receive are from Yahoo Answers, which I'm not getting. This puts me at a complete loss as there are no filters on my Yahoo account or on my device that should prevent them from coming through.
My iPhone 4 can't receive the yahoo email when i upgrade iOS 5 after. Just see the number of mail. Can't download, stay in " correcting" to server. Click the row, still no response...
This is a new iphone 6 and email had been working fine for about a month, then my yahoo email just suddenly stopped updating. I have deleted the account, restarted the phone and added the account back twice to no avail. Everything is verified, but it will NOT show new messages, just those that I send.
I have recently downloaded the new Yahoo mail app and after doing so I no longer receive a notification that I have received an email. I use light flow and it is set up properly for all other notifications.
From 5 days now, I can't use yahoo messenger. I have a Bold 9000 and when I'm sending messenger to computer PC / MAC the person doesn't receive, on other telephones it does. I have friends with other models of blackberry and they have the same problem. Do you have a solution? I delete the application, I update... It's still working yahoo messenger on blackberry or not?

I've had the Motorola Atrix for a few days now and I've found out that when I compose an email or try to reply one using the default app it gets stuck in the Outbox folder.

Morning cb community...I've got a weird issue going on...not an annoyance or deal breaker just curious. Anyways lately and randomly my phones ringtone for my yahoo email goes off and there isn't an email. It vibrates and the berrybuzz led and color goes off too. The weird thing is is that there isn't even an unread email indicator with the number. The phone just goes off. Its weird. I've done battery pulls and stuff. Any thoughts? It just has me wondering. It doesn't do it for my sprint.blackberry.net email just my yahoo email.
Have setup Email on the Bold 9900 to access Yahoo Email. access to the Inbox is working fine. How do you access the other folders in the Yahoo account?
I have my incoming Yahoo mail filtered to different folders, so I have new mail in different folders, which at present I can't see on the Bold.

I am a website owner hosted by Yahoo! Smallbusiness service. I set up an email account with my own domain name, configured it with BIS plan (uses BlackBerry Bold 9000). The issue I encounter is to receive emails with Yahoo!Smallbusiness within 15 minutes. I have made a contact with Yahoo for many times. They insistly mention this is being caused by BIS or / and GSM carrier. Good. That's a fact. However, I configured a Gmail account, so it seems that I don't get down with my Gmail account.Is there anybody out there to give me a hand on what's going on with my email delaying because I'm exactly tired of wrestling out with the problem. You may ask "Is it a problem for you having emails in 15 minutes?"... Yes, It is... I am sure that many people have a website owner and they're aware how important it's to reply their emails fast. My previous smartphone (is it OK to reveal another brand name here?) is already pushing!
how do I set up Yahoo email subfolders? I went to Messages Folder, Options, Email Preferences, Folder Redirection, but, my Yahoo email folders do not appear.
I have added my yahoo account to my BB, and I can't see the icon. I tried deleting the account and reinstalling it, but that didn't work. What else can I try?
Until yesterday all my emails have been going directly to my BB. Since last evening (3rd May), I've been having intermittent issues sending email through my Yahoo! mail account. Common symptoms include a pop-up window stating:
Cannot Send Mail
The connection to the outgoing server "apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com" failed. Additional Outgoing Mail Servers can be configured in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
Typically, this is followed by the message being place in the Outbox.
Sometimes, the message actually does go out when the iPhone says that is could not send the message.At others, after a very long period of time, the "swoosh" sound tells me that a message was sent.
This is a new symptom and I have not changed my mail settings at all. I have tried deleting my mail account and re-adding the same, but no help. I've tried sending email from another iPhone, same issue. I've also verified that this is not isolated to my account, since my wife was complaining about the same symptom on her phone using her Yahoo! email account.
Yahoo email is not pushing to my iphone for more than a week now. I've tried everything I could, nothings seems to work.I deleted the account, add it again, added one more server, I even did a restore, no succes. I have to mention that gmail and icloud are fine.
Today on my iPhone I'm getting the error message "The user name and password for "apple.imap.mail.yahoo.com" is incorrect.
I've tried all the tips recommended by various well meaning folks:
1. rebooting (many times)
2. changing my yahoo password - doesn't contain any special characters
3. verifying access via a browser (used the new Chrome one!)
4. adding another choice for SMTP server (smtp.mail.yahoo.com) - a tip from 2008!
5. added my gmail account - it works fine
I'm out of ideas. This is a problem with the device communicating with Yahoo's mail servers, which are evidently functioning as expected. Is it time to visit a genius bar?? Don't really want to access email via the browser (like driving on one of those temporary spares).
I recently got my self a replacement 8350i now I went to send my emails to my blackberry all I get now is the standard black berry icons my previous blackberry used to get the logos such as aol and yahoo any help would be appreciated thanks.
Ok it seems since yesterday my 8530 has not been getting any emails from yahoo. Anyone have this problem? Anyone know of a possible cause and solution? not sure what the deal is. I have rebooted it a time or two and even hit reconcile and nothing. I sent myself an email from my phone and it went through but none others.
Is anyone else experiencing problems with push email notifications using IOS 4.0+? My old 3g, new Iphone 4, and colleagues 3gs (not to mention my wife's old 3g and new 4) all experience lack of push notifications for Yahoo email..
My Yahoo e-mail account won't delete. I wanted to remove my Yahoo account on my 9780 and went into setup to delete it. It no longer shows as a listed account in the setup menu but it still appears as an icon on the homepage. It's still active retrieving messages. I tried rebooting by removing the battery to no avail.
I get emails from the donotreply@blackberry.com that tell me I need to validate my Yahoo email. I've done the validation thing countless times and it NEVER accepts the password. The only way I can get it to work is go to Yahoo and set a new password on my email account. Then I need to get on my 8900 and "validate" with the password.Why do I have to change my Yahoo password to get this to work? I know my password is correct because I got to Yahoo on my laptop, login, and enter the correct password and the email comes up.

I can't access my yahoo email account from the yahoo website so I can view other folders. Tried using 'help' function but my 9300 won't show security code.
Suddenly, I received an email message from Blackberry Internet Services that asks me to validate my Yahoo email password. However, my Manage Internet Email icon no longer works (for some reason) and I get an error message when I try to use it. ERROR Site cannot be used in this manner. use URL or link provided to you by your service provider. what that means or why I am suddenly getting that!
I had to replace my first Storm 2 because it was not performing as expected. I had added my Yahoo email and I could read and delete email from my Blackberry and it would show as read or delete in my online account when I logged in, as well, if I read or deleted emails online they would show as read or deleted on the Storm 2. Now I have added the same account to the new phone and I have to read and delete emails online AND on my Blackberry because the 2 way synching no longer works. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have deleted the accounts, re-added them, wiped the whole device and started over multiple times and it still doesn't work. It never worked for hotmail but if someone knows how to get it to work for hotmail that information would be appreciated too.
I am using Bold 9700 on BIS. Yahoo email does not synchronize the messages when read or deleted from the desktop online account. But it works the other way around. (when I delelte or read a message from the web email it stays unread on the device and I have to go and delete it or mark it as read manually). I have to do everything twice, specially that I am reveiving like 50+ emails every day in yahoo account only.
the email reconcilation configurations are Delete on: Mailbox & Handheld Wireless reconcile: On On conflict: Mailbox wins
I called RIM and they said it should work 2-way, yahoo also it should work. I called Rogers, the tech support told me her device does like that. and all what she did was telling me change the configuration, save, change them back, and save again. and surely nothing of that worked.
I tried my yahoo mail, and other accounts, on iphone and HTC and they worked well both ways. I really am not sure why people claim that blackberry are the best email handler! a lot of people suffer from sync problems, and there is no IMAP folders support on BIS!
