Until yesterday all my emails have been going directly to my BB. I have two different Rogers Yahoo email accounts - one for work, one for randoms - all of a sudden my WORK email isn't getting directed to my BB.I NEED my BB connected to work email by tomorrow... and ironically I'm starting a new job tomorrow.

Morning cb community...I've got a weird issue going on...not an annoyance or deal breaker just curious. Anyways lately and randomly my phones ringtone for my yahoo email goes off and there isn't an email. It vibrates and the berrybuzz led and color goes off too. The weird thing is is that there isn't even an unread email indicator with the number. The phone just goes off. Its weird. I've done battery pulls and stuff. Any thoughts? It just has me wondering. It doesn't do it for my sprint.blackberry.net email just my yahoo email.
Have setup Email on the Bold 9900 to access Yahoo Email. access to the Inbox is working fine. How do you access the other folders in the Yahoo account?
I have my incoming Yahoo mail filtered to different folders, so I have new mail in different folders, which at present I can't see on the Bold.

View 3 Replies View RelatedOn my s6, my email was working perfectly fine on the stock client, then about 6 weeks ago, it started pulling in everything that was going to my junk mail folder(from outlook). I have deleted the email account on the computer and phone, multiple times, but still the junk emails come through. I'm getting like 400 junk emails per day. I use GoDaddy as our server and they block out the majority of the emails as I can see them in the junk folder on my computer, but everything in that junk folder comes through to my phone....It's essentially syncing the junk folder and inbox instead of JUST the inbox.......

The issue I encounter is to receive emails with Yahoo!Smallbusiness within 15 minutes. I have made a contact with Yahoo for many times. They insistly mention this is being caused by BIS or / and GSM carrier. Good. That's a fact. OK, about a week ago I got about 3-5 yahoo emails on my device from Yahoo Answers. I logged into Yahoo on my laptop and there were 20+ in my account, many of which I hadn't received on my device. The following day the same thing happened and the next day I received no Yahoo email on my device but logged in on my laptop to find that I had 10 emails in my yahoo account. So I went from getting only a few of the emails to getting none.
I tried a battery pull, which fixed it for a very short time, then I went back to getting no yahoo email again. I tried sending service books as well as registering via the host routing table, both gave me the same results, fixed it for a short time then went back to getting nothing at all. I delete then undelete the service books. Again, fixed it for a short time then went back to getting nothing at all. Last night I deleted the email account from my device altogether, performed a battery pull, then setup my yahoo email again. It fixed it for about 24 hours and now I'm back to getting nothing again.
In the meantime, if I send myself an email from my google account to my yahoo account, it will go through and I receive it on my device. If I send from my device using my yahoo account it also goes through. But 90% or more of the messages I receive are from Yahoo Answers, which I'm not getting. This puts me at a complete loss as there are no filters on my Yahoo account or on my device that should prevent them from coming through.
Is it possible to have e mails on the Yahoo e mail app fit to screen? Currently e mails are oversized and over to the right of the screen.

Since last evening (3rd May), I've been having intermittent issues sending email through my Yahoo! mail account. Common symptoms include a pop-up window stating:
Cannot Send Mail
The connection to the outgoing server "apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com" failed. Additional Outgoing Mail Servers can be configured in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
Typically, this is followed by the message being place in the Outbox.
Sometimes, the message actually does go out when the iPhone says that is could not send the message.At others, after a very long period of time, the "swoosh" sound tells me that a message was sent.
This is a new symptom and I have not changed my mail settings at all. I have tried deleting my mail account and re-adding the same, but no help. I've tried sending email from another iPhone, same issue. I've also verified that this is not isolated to my account, since my wife was complaining about the same symptom on her phone using her Yahoo! email account.
Yahoo email is not pushing to my iphone for more than a week now. I've tried everything I could, nothings seems to work.I deleted the account, add it again, added one more server, I even did a restore, no succes. I have to mention that gmail and icloud are fine.

Today on my iPhone I'm getting the error message "The user name and password for "apple.imap.mail.yahoo.com" is incorrect.
I've tried all the tips recommended by various well meaning folks:
1. rebooting (many times)
2. changing my yahoo password - doesn't contain any special characters
3. verifying access via a browser (used the new Chrome one!)
4. adding another choice for SMTP server (smtp.mail.yahoo.com) - a tip from 2008!
5. added my gmail account - it works fine
I'm out of ideas. This is a problem with the device communicating with Yahoo's mail servers, which are evidently functioning as expected. Is it time to visit a genius bar?? Don't really want to access email via the browser (like driving on one of those temporary spares).

Beginning at 4:29am this morning, (it seems that all messages stopped at 12:31am and then everything flooded in at once) all of my emails began coming in RED instead of black and they all started giving me alerts. Previously I had Profiles/Exceptions set up so only emails from certain people caused alerts and came in as red.I was able to fix the alerts by changing Level 1 messages to no alert on my "general" profile, but all the emails still come in RED. I have done a reset and a battery pull and nothing changed. How do I fix this??
