I have several contacts on my BBM that work fine individually. I have 1 group set up on my BBM (I'm not the administrator). There are 4 members of this group. This group has been set up for a couple months and was working great until last week. Right now the other 3 members can send and receive messages normally. However, I can only receive messages. No one is getting anything I send the BBM group. We have tried several things to remedy this, but nothing has worked. We have deleted and re-added me to the group. We have started a new group (with the same administrator) and I have started a new group with me as the administrator. Still, no one is receiving my messages. Again, I can individually BBM with these same people no problem.
On my wife's MXPE running 6.0 on T Mobile she often cannot send group messages in Hangouts. Everything I've found on the subject is due to coming from an iPhone however she has never had an iPhone.
When I try to send a message, it just stays in the message box, and then sometimes just sends randomly, this just started to happen like 20mns ago....I tried a battery pull, phone restart, and a restore file from yesterday, but nothing......
Been pretty happy with the ICON. Noticed a problem with sending group messages to Sprint Android users from Verizon ICON. They are getting a blank group message. Tried an Android on ATT and it worked. My friend tried it from is WP on Verizon and he gets the same results. Tried to talk to VZW and "We'll look into this" and now its marked as resolved but the same issue exists.
I am able to sign into my yahoo messenger and it will typically send and receive messages right away after sign in, but then messenger will stop sending or receiving messages even though I am signed in. How can I fix this or is it a issue with all blackberrys because this has happened on the both of the blackberry curves that I have used. I use messenger with some of my family from Canada and then it uses my data. If I texted them it is international texting and therefore costs per text.
I can see everything the group does but noone sees me. They were able to see my messages before I did a software upgrade to version 4.7.1.61. I've done a couple of battery pulls and they are not working.

I just updated my Blackberry Tour to the latest OS (v5.0.0.591). I have a huge problem with my sms messages showing up in my Blackberry Messenger. When I sms a contact that is also added to my Blackberry Messenger, the sms messages appear under "Chat." Ok thats fine...BUT when I go to end the chat on the sms conversation, it asks me to delete all messages in chat. SO if I choose yes, I also delete ALL sms messages that I've ever received from that contact. I also noticed that those same contacts that are added to my Blackberry Messenger, when they send me an sms message, it does not show up in the main message list...only the Blackberry Messenger.
I am trying to figure out how to create a group so I can just select the group when I am sending certain e-mail.I have created a group in the address book but the only way to select that group is when I am going to send MMS.I have tried selecting it for e-mail and it doesn't work.
Tour 9630 Telus, Out of the blue I am not able to open blackberry messages (they are received fine) and I cannot start a new conversation with a contact. When I click on the contacts name nothing happens, if I try to "open chat" nothing happens. The only way to send a message is to "Broadcast Message". I have no problems with email or SMS.
i've been on holiday for 10 days and i came home, charged my phone and no text messages, facebook notifications or bbm's have come through! i've tried sending bbm's and the red clock comes up... i also cant connect to the internet! and when i switched my phone back on, it had the same date and time of when i left it 10 days ago! what do i do?
I use facebook messenger as my main texting app on my HTC One. But after I updated to 4.3, I found that I am no longer able to send a group SMS/MMS message through FB messenger. When I try to add a second person to the message, it says I have reached the maximum number of recipients.

On two occasions now, I've sent a text message to a group using the Verizon message app. The first time, some contacts were in my contact list and others weren't. I entered their numbers putting a space after them. I send the message, and see the following: sent to some.
I then added all numbers to my contact list. The second time I sent a text, I just kept going back to the contact list and adding each person to the text. I sent it out, and again it says: sent to some.Why can I not send a group text?
I have been unchecking the "group message" box on my Samsung S6 when I send out a picture...however it seems to go out as a group message still. And when I go back to the text it rechecks the group message box.
Unfortunately I got the ICS update a couple of weeks ago. I use my Razr Maxx as a business phone and since the update I can no longer email 'groups'. I have deleted the groups and entered them again....I have spent HOURS on the phone with Motorola and Verizon and all they keep doing is guessing at the cause. Motorola actually remotely accessed my phone and tried to figure out why this isn't working now with NO LUCK! I should be able to enter the group name in the To: and the group pull up. But it appears as though someone has FAILED to enable this simple function. Why in GOD's name even have 'groups'. I could do this on my blackberry in 2002. What a failure.
To be clear.This was no issue until the ICS update.it doesn't work on either Gmail or the Corp Exchange acct.This is clearly a failure and will take some type of update to fix.
I recently took out a contract on Vodaphone, but wanted to keep my old O2 number from my previous contract. My BBM was working fine before the number was transferred accross, but now if I send a message, a tick appears to say its been sent, but there is no 'D' to say delivered, and the recipient doesn't recieve it.
Are there any phone numbers or email addresses I could use to talk to someone about this? Or are these forums the only way to get support?
I have a blackberry 9800 torch with the latest version of blackberry messenger on it.When typing and message and sending the message, the txt stays and wont clear at all.I have to delete the txt by deleting it. Only way to fix it is to uninstall and reinstall messenger then it will be fine for a day or two then it starts again.
I have a Bold 9900. Under "contacts" I have created a distribution list, mainly my baseball team so if a game is cancelled, I would like to address them all in one swoop. The problem is, only 8 out of 18 receive a text. I go to the "text message" icon, press the blackberry button on "compose text message". When it asks "To:" I select from my contact list, my baseball team.
Some of the entries on my list have an email address only while others have both. What do I have to do to successfully reach everyone on the list? Would it work better if it were only email or mobile addresses? Does it matter whether they are MTS or Rogers customers for their cell phones? Do I require to add 1+then the area code for the cell phone numbers?
I have a BB Tour 9630 does anyone know how I can delete all the instant messaging apps. I only download the bb messenger app, but I can't find a delete option when I click menu. I've tried going to setting, apps, until I get to the modules and find bb messenger but there's still no delete option
I am having problems with my messenger freezing up on my Tour. It started with the most recent update. It will work fine but then randomly it will not allow me to open current chats. (I can still scroll through names on my list, so the whole screen isn't frozed, I just can't click on anything.) The only thing I can do to "fix" it is a hard reset of my phone, but then its just a matter of time before it freezes again. Happens daily at least.
I use Yahoo Messenger on my computer to text a friend on his phone. However, when I leave the house, I'd like to be able to receive any replies that he sends so I use the sign into Yahoo Messenger on my cell phone option, but even though he sends replies, I never receive them on my phone.
I've taken photos with the Tour and tried to send the image via Yahoo Messenger. The status of 'Waiting for...to accept file..." stays on forever and doesn't do anything. Speaking to the person on the other end they say it just doesn't download to no request to send picture pops on.
I have a blackberry tour 9630 which I bought online. I am in South Africa, so the network I am currently using is Vodacom. The phone is on Verizon network am able to activate my Blackberry Internet Services, but these however, do not work. I am unable to use the Internet or use Blackberry messanager.Vodacom says that they do not support this phone therefore dont have the settings. Is anyone able to assit me or give me advice of how to activate and have a fully functional Internet and Blackberry messenger services?
