I have a blackberry 9800 torch with the latest version of blackberry messenger on it.When typing and message and sending the message, the txt stays and wont clear at all.I have to delete the txt by deleting it. Only way to fix it is to uninstall and reinstall messenger then it will be fine for a day or two then it starts again.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently took out a contract on Vodaphone, but wanted to keep my old O2 number from my previous contract. My BBM was working fine before the number was transferred accross, but now if I send a message, a tick appears to say its been sent, but there is no 'D' to say delivered, and the recipient doesn't recieve it.
Are there any phone numbers or email addresses I could use to talk to someone about this? Or are these forums the only way to get support?
I have several contacts on my BBM that work fine individually. I have 1 group set up on my BBM (I'm not the administrator). There are 4 members of this group. This group has been set up for a couple months and was working great until last week. Right now the other 3 members can send and receive messages normally. However, I can only receive messages. No one is getting anything I send the BBM group. We have tried several things to remedy this, but nothing has worked. We have deleted and re-added me to the group. We have started a new group (with the same administrator) and I have started a new group with me as the administrator. Still, no one is receiving my messages. Again, I can individually BBM with these same people no problem.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am able to sign into my yahoo messenger and it will typically send and receive messages right away after sign in, but then messenger will stop sending or receiving messages even though I am signed in. How can I fix this or is it a issue with all blackberrys because this has happened on the both of the blackberry curves that I have used. I use messenger with some of my family from Canada and then it uses my data. If I texted them it is international texting and therefore costs per text.

I've never used blackberry messenger. overnight i had a messenger contact request from some unknown person so declined the request. now whenever i press menu when viewing a txt, i get the 'forward to messenger contact' showing as the 3rd option. How do i get rid of either this showing or blackberry messenger completely?
When I type in bbm messenger the cursor jumps in the middle of the text or uses different characters?

All the messages are the same "Ppppp" Yesterday they all had a scrolling circle beside them and message details said unable to send sender unknown.I deleted them but they kept coming back at least a dozen of them at at random times. Today they are being sent. By each message there is a envelope with a clock icon. This is happening while the phone is not being used by anyone and is sitting on a table, so its not as if it is being touched by anything in my handbag or pocket.I was using the Handcent App but it was also happening in the installed messaging software. I have uninstalled Handcent and am using the supplied messaging programme. Also getting a lot of force closing messages when I try to send a genuine text.

Every couple of text messages they won't send and instead I get the message cannot be sent error. Trying repeated times has the same results then all of a sudden it will randomly work.
It can't be down to bad signal, last time the error came up I had full 'H' signal. I also tried Handcent to see if using an app would make any difference but it didnt. Are there any known bugs that sound like this
I thought the HTC service pack last week might if fixed it but it didn't.

Under messaging under settings, imessage is on..and it shows my phone number under recieve at....but when i text someone that has a iphone it goes thru as a imessage, when i text my boyfriend who also has iphone..it goes to regular texting...but when he replies back to me it goes imessage but with his apple id. How can i fix it to where only his phone number is imessage? is it his settings on his phone or mine? Under contacts i have to have two of him in my phone one for texting and the other for making a phone call.

I have verizon. And just recieved a iphone4s for my birthday. If I send a text message to someone who doesn't have a iphone, I guess, when they recieve the message on thier phone it shows up atleast three times. It's quite annoying for people I text daily. Few of my family have blackberry's and a lot of the time bbms or texts don't send and if they do send they get it about half hour or so later but if I message someone else who doesn't have a blackberry they get the messages straight away so it's more of a blackberry to blackberry problem I think.

I have tried a soft and hard reset, and I have just noticed that there is a firmware upgrade available. I am in the process of charging my battery.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI noticed that there have been randomly frequent times where I send a text message but the text is immediately deferred to send at a later time. ie set to send a few minutes later. I can go to the deferred folder and tell to send right away and that works.Anyone else notice this?
