Why can't I send text along with an attachment?
If I select the share from a pic in my gallery it then asks me existing or new contact, I select the contact and done and it sends, I cant add a message, why? If I go to my messages and click the paperclip select the pic my only option is to send, still can't add a message.
For some reason, and this happened on my S4 as well, when I'm listening to music through headphones or an aux cable, it cuts off for a second. Now, this doesn't happen with other phones I've played with (iP6, LGG4), so why it happens with Samsung's phones?

When I go into messages and click the green circle in bottom right hand corner and the next screen is where you enter recipients and your message, i start by typing the 1st person i wish to add and his name comes up and i add him to the recipient list thats all fine but i cant find a button or anything to add another contact?? the only way is to delete the number of the recipient that pops up under his name and start over again! i have never come across this in any phone in the last 5 years and even this phone before the update?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI switched over from the iPhone 4s at the beginning of May and I am really enjoying the S5. However, I am still having one annoyance and that is with sending multiple pictures to others via text. On ios it was a matter of just choosing which photos I wanted to send and then pressing the send button. It did not matter if it was one photo or 15 photos. However, with my S5 I only can send 2 maybe 3 pictures at a time before I have to back in my gallery and load more.
View 20 Replies View RelatedIf I am listening to music and send a text it will stop the music for a second or so, then start playback up through the speakers then switch back to the headphones.
Now if I am having a conversation with someone via text this is quite irritating as sat on the bus and every so often my phone just plays music quite loud for a second before going silent.
I use poweramp and have tried the audio focus options there but I never had this issue on my older s4 with poweramp also. I am having to resort to just not listening to music at all.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI am using CHOMP SMS app for my texting. Yesterday I sent a text to Joe, Bob, Jim. Just like that in the TO block. When they sent replys they all got each others reply to read. I didn't want that. That is whey I sent it the way that I did instead of sending it as a GROUP message. Is there a setting in CHOMP or the regular app to make it so everyone does not see each others replys?

For the last couple of weeks my HTC one has had to be rebooted occasionally when I have tried to send a text message, I have noticed a pending icon next to the message when checking for a reply. As soon as I have rebooted the phone the message is sent.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy xperia x10 has started to send text messages that I didn't write to one of my contacts!!!! All the messages are the same "Ppppp" Yesterday they all had a scrolling circle beside them and message details said unable to send sender unknown.I deleted them but they kept coming back at least a dozen of them at at random times. Today they are being sent. By each message there is a envelope with a clock icon. This is happening while the phone is not being used by anyone and is sitting on a table, so its not as if it is being touched by anything in my handbag or pocket.I was using the Handcent App but it was also happening in the installed messaging software. I have uninstalled Handcent and am using the supplied messaging programme. Also getting a lot of force closing messages when I try to send a genuine text.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI successfully updated to the official Vodafone release using SEUS, loving the update so far but I've come across a problem with text messages.
Every couple of text messages they won't send and instead I get the message cannot be sent error. Trying repeated times has the same results then all of a sudden it will randomly work.
It can't be down to bad signal, last time the error came up I had full 'H' signal. I also tried Handcent to see if using an app would make any difference but it didnt. Are there any known bugs that sound like this
I thought the HTC service pack last week might if fixed it but it didn't.

Under messaging under settings, imessage is on..and it shows my phone number under recieve at....but when i text someone that has a iphone it goes thru as a imessage, when i text my boyfriend who also has iphone..it goes to regular texting...but when he replies back to me it goes imessage but with his apple id. How can i fix it to where only his phone number is imessage? is it his settings on his phone or mine? Under contacts i have to have two of him in my phone one for texting and the other for making a phone call.

I have verizon. And just recieved a iphone4s for my birthday. If I send a text message to someone who doesn't have a iphone, I guess, when they recieve the message on thier phone it shows up atleast three times. It's quite annoying for people I text daily. I was wondering if I could fix this somehow? Is this my phone or is this verizon?

Few of my family have blackberry's and a lot of the time bbms or texts don't send and if they do send they get it about half hour or so later but if I message someone else who doesn't have a blackberry they get the messages straight away so it's more of a blackberry to blackberry problem I think.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI received my N86 via courier yesterday, and did the usual setup stuff that I was prompted to do. For some reason, my phone keeps on saying "sending text message" at random intervals. I check the outbox, and nothing is there! This has been ongoing since I turned it on.
I have tried a soft and hard reset, and I have just noticed that there is a firmware upgrade available. I am in the process of charging my battery.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI noticed that there have been randomly frequent times where I send a text message but the text is immediately deferred to send at a later time. ie set to send a few minutes later. I can go to the deferred folder and tell to send right away and that works.Anyone else notice this?

I'm a new iPhone user as of the iP4 launch so this is probably a beaten question but the search I did only came up with very old results and failed to ask the second part of my question: If the answer is still no, what if you are quick enough to go into edit mode and delete the text before it finishes sending? Would that cancel it?
