Jun 7, 2010I got my new X6 on Thursday and so far Im more or less happy, I'm just getting a bit frustrated with the texting as quite often I can be in the middle of a text when the cursor just takes me back to the beginning of the message and I can't stop it or even worse it just starts deleting my message letter by letter?

Jul 11, 2012I have a BB Curve 9360 and recently the middle cursor button on it has not been working as smoothly as it once was. It takes several presses in for it to work, and I will often have to press it in quite hard. I am unsure of why this has happened, because I have not dropped the phone or let water or other substances into it. It could perhaps be dirt? I have tried several battery pulls.

Feb 24, 2010In the middle of BMM-ing I lose the cursor - I can still type, but I don't see any text appear as I type, but once I hit enter, it delivers whatever I typed. It's very annoying!Only way I've been able to get it back, is to end the chat, which is annoying if you ever want to refer back to what someone typed (like a phone number or something).
Also, I get a phantom new msg red light when receiving multiple msgs at once -I have already tried many battery pulls, restarting and re-installing.

BB Bold 9700 :: Cursor Moves By Itself
Jan 18, 2010I have started to take note of an issue that started out small, but is becoming a slight drag. At times it happens that when trying to scroll the cursor on the Bold 9700 (touch-pad) to a specific location to type, it seems to have a mind of its own and moves full speed upwards of the page. When trying to force it down it moves accordingly, but the instant my finger leaves the touch pad, it moves back up-wards. Any ideas on this behavior? I tend to do a quick wipe of the phone face area and touch pad, but doesn't help much. It also happens, peculiarly when trying to enter a contact info, or trying to type a message. I am thinking some kind of static or something?

BB Bold :: 9930 Touchscreen - Cursor Will Randomly Scroll Up Without User Input
Sep 14, 2011I have just upgraded to the new Bold 9930 and I'm experiencing intermittent issues with the touch screen where it appears to have a mind of its own. Specifically the cursor will randomly scroll up without user input. Sometimes it's a line or two but usually it's all the way back to the top of the content currently being displayed on the screen.
That is to say that I was doing something to make it happen like touching the screen with multiple fingers but I have observed the actions with absolutely no contact with the screen so it can't be inadvertent touching. Then I thought that it might be the screen protector I installed.
I use the Invisible Shield products by Zagg so I uninstalled the screen protector and carefully cleaned the screen with a microfiber cloth but it continues to randomly scroll. I have no apps installed other than what the phone came with and I have tried with and without a memory card installed but the random behavior continues.

HTC One M8 :: How To Type Long Text Messages In Landscape Format
Dec 9, 2014I've recently got an HTC One M8, and when I try to write a long text message, thats long enough to not fit all on the one window (so it has to scroll), it scrolls so that the bottom line of text is just above the on-screen keyboard. But THEN when i type, the auto suggest words appear above the keyboard, and cover over what I'm typing so that I can't see it, which is really annoying and means every word I have to click back and forth between the editing screen and the other screen to get the view of what I just wrote back.
PS I just noticed it only happens in landscape orientation. I always write texts this way since the keys are bigger and my hands are large. In portrait orientation it works fine.
So now my question is, is is possible to write long texts in landscape format?

There's-one-little-glitch: Where I live MMS service is - not - available! If I delete even one (1) character I get another pop up saying, 'Msg type changed to text msg.'
Nokia's solution: When the N8 tries to convert to mms go to Options > Sending Options > msg type > Text. Nokia's solution fails immediately after pressing 'Options' because there is NO 'Sending Options' option to select! How - can I disable/remove/get rid of this unwanted/forced MMS change over so I can write and send as many characters as I want/need in SMS (text).

Feb 1, 2010Ever since I downloaded the new OS I can no longer type, text, email properly. I use the full keyboard in both portrait and landscape view. The problem is that every time I type, the words constantly change themselves. They do not follow my command so they change. Before, If I was to type "dfsnfjns" it would stay as that. Now if I type that it will automatically change to a word that I did not want there such as "deafens", etc. In the keyboard settings, the auto correct feature is disabled.
