May 17, 2012When I'm texting with John Smith, if John Smith sends me a text while I'm viewing our conversation, I will get a notification (i.e. sound, vibration, etc.) but not see the message. In fact, the button in the top left that takes me back to Messages will show that I have a new message by becoming "Messages(1)". When I exit the conversation to all of my messages, John Smith's conversation will have a blue dot indicating that he has sent me a new message, so now I must go back into our conversation in order to fully read the whole message.

Apr 1, 2012My iPhone 3GS got problem now, when I make converstion (call or receive) for more than few minutes, I got line cut off and the iphone showed apply logo. I had to take few minutes to reset it or recharge it although it had already almost full bettery.

Apr 15, 2015When I send a text it appears in the original conversation but when I get a response it's in an entirely new conversation with only their responses.....so it looks like I am talking to myself and so are they. It appears that the response number is altered and I am unable to respond in that conversation. It appears as area code 1(1562) instead of the proper 1(562). So somehow, somewhere an extra 1 is being added. I checked my contact info, and the number is listed as (562) so the phone itself is doing it (S5) could this be because of the recent software update? How do I fix it so i can have normal texting back?

Mar 22, 2012I accidentally deleted an entire correspondence (conversation) by accidentally hitting the "clear all" button. <Side note: Apple really needs an undo option here or a password confirmation before it just deletes it! I have done some searching through the web and discovered that even "deleted texts" are still embedded deep within the phone.
I need the steps to recovery the messages. Unfortunately, I thought that my phone was syncing daily with my laptop, but it looks as if it was not automatically set up. iTunes would open up and want to sync apps, but apparently not the messages. I don't know enough about iCloud to know if it would be possible to pull the old texts from there, but I'm pretty desperate.
I've downloaded Decipher Textmessage recovery and Wondershare, but as they both initially couldn't pull anything from iTunes, I did not push it further as I thought best to stay in holding mode. I know there is the iPhone Recovery Stick from ProofPronto but it's uber expensive and so if there is another way, I would rather go that route.

May 5, 2015I have a galaxy s6 edge. A weird thing is happening to my email. i would like to use conversation mode to display my messages. Initially all good. But when I press on the sent folder (to see the messages I sent), the Inbox goes crazy.
It displays all my sent messages in my inbox! Not just the ones from within a conversation, but all my sent messages... This is extremely strange. did not have that problem with my Samsung Alpha... I am at lost to understand Probably some simple setting I am missing?

May 3, 2011I use text alot to keep in contact with my boyfriend who lives 250 miles away and our conversation had got quite lengthy which has been causing it to freeze lately and sometimes the text app crashes altogether when I open our conversation thread. I really should have deleted the whole conversation once this started to happen but there were a fair few photos and also some audio clips that he had sent me which I wanted to save and hadn't got around to doing yet (I usually just forward any photos etc to my email that I want to save due to the annoying issue of not being able to save MMS content on the Xperia X10 mini) and some lovely texts which I was reluctant to delete.
However, a couple of hours ago when I tried to open our conversation it just wouldn't open, all I am getting is a blank page. There are 5 texts unopened from him tonight and I cannot read them at all, just a blank blue page and I can't see our previous texts back and forth at all. All I want to do is open the conversation so that I can forward the photos I want to keep to my email and then I can go ahead and delete everything so that I don't have the problem of freezing and crashing anymore and so that we are able to text one another again. Does anybody know of any way I may be able to get this conversation open in order to salvage my precious photos before deleting everything? I really am reluctant to just go ahead and delete the entire conversation before I can work out a way to save these pictures but obviously I realise that if this turns out to be impossible then I will have no choice but to lose the photos. I'm kicking myself now for not saving the photos as soon as I received them and the originals have been deleted from my boyfriends phone as soon as he sent them. I've tried shutting down the phone and turning it on again, I've tried deleting other conversations to see if that helped, I've even tried plugging the phone into my laptop via USB to see if I can access the texts that way but I'm not even sure if that is possible. Has anyone ever had just a blank blue page come up when trying to open a conversation or knows how to get it open without deleting the entire thing?
