When I have a conversation open, new texts from that person do not immediately show. Instead I hear the text tone, see Messages (1) in the upper lefthand corner, and have to toggle back to the main menu and then re-enter the conversation to read it.

When I'm texting with John Smith, if John Smith sends me a text while I'm viewing our conversation, I will get a notification (i.e. sound, vibration, etc.) but not see the message. In fact, the button in the top left that takes me back to Messages will show that I have a new message by becoming "Messages(1)". When I exit the conversation to all of my messages, John Smith's conversation will have a blue dot indicating that he has sent me a new message, so now I must go back into our conversation in order to fully read the whole message.

What to do when random texts show up in the middle of a text conversation?

When I send a text it appears in the original conversation but when I get a response it's in an entirely new conversation with only their responses.....so it looks like I am talking to myself and so are they. It appears that the response number is altered and I am unable to respond in that conversation. It appears as area code 1(1562) instead of the proper 1(562). So somehow, somewhere an extra 1 is being added. I checked my contact info, and the number is listed as (562) so the phone itself is doing it (S5) could this be because of the recent software update? How do I fix it so i can have normal texting back?

1st problem: I moved from german to sweden recently, and now whenever I get messages from my german friends and a notification comes at the top of the screen, i click on it and it goes to a new message instead of opening the conversation.Â
2nd problem: I also have to save my friends' numbers twice under mobil and iphone once with 0 and once with +49 because otherwise it just shows their number instead of the name i have saved in my phone.
When I receive a text it no longer shows alongside the emails I receive, instead texts are saved by conversation.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI started integrating my Gmail account around 2 or 3 weeks ago. The setup completed without any problems. I can open my emails without a hassle. The conversation feature works fine. There wasn't a single problem until I realized I can't open a conversation sent from one of my subscribed mailing list.
At first, I thought it was because the emails from the mailing list was not in my Inbox. I have it filtered so that it skipped Inbox and labeled "MyGroup". So I decided to edit the filter and have the emails also sent to my Inbox. The emails started showing up in my BlackBerry Gmail Inbox, but I still can't open any of the conversations sent from the mailing list.
I even tried creating a new Gmail account and have the mailing list emails sent to that new Gmail account. No filters, no nothing. The emails were sent directly to the Inbox in my new Gmail account. I integrate this new Gmail account into my BlackBerry. Unfortunately the issue remains. I still can't open the conversations.
I use text alot to keep in contact with my boyfriend who lives 250 miles away and our conversation had got quite lengthy which has been causing it to freeze lately and sometimes the text app crashes altogether when I open our conversation thread. I really should have deleted the whole conversation once this started to happen but there were a fair few photos and also some audio clips that he had sent me which I wanted to save and hadn't got around to doing yet (I usually just forward any photos etc to my email that I want to save due to the annoying issue of not being able to save MMS content on the Xperia X10 mini) and some lovely texts which I was reluctant to delete.
However, a couple of hours ago when I tried to open our conversation it just wouldn't open, all I am getting is a blank page. There are 5 texts unopened from him tonight and I cannot read them at all, just a blank blue page and I can't see our previous texts back and forth at all. All I want to do is open the conversation so that I can forward the photos I want to keep to my email and then I can go ahead and delete everything so that I don't have the problem of freezing and crashing anymore and so that we are able to text one another again. Does anybody know of any way I may be able to get this conversation open in order to salvage my precious photos before deleting everything? I really am reluctant to just go ahead and delete the entire conversation before I can work out a way to save these pictures but obviously I realise that if this turns out to be impossible then I will have no choice but to lose the photos. I'm kicking myself now for not saving the photos as soon as I received them and the originals have been deleted from my boyfriends phone as soon as he sent them. I've tried shutting down the phone and turning it on again, I've tried deleting other conversations to see if that helped, I've even tried plugging the phone into my laptop via USB to see if I can access the texts that way but I'm not even sure if that is possible. Has anyone ever had just a blank blue page come up when trying to open a conversation or knows how to get it open without deleting the entire thing?
Found X2-02 restarts frequently & immediately when ever new sms is going to open from conversation and at moment unlocking key guard Expecting Nokia to resolve the same immediately.

View 5 Replies View RelatedHaving issues with the Z5 when it comes to opening messages, mine will show opening conversation for 20 seconds before actually opening a message then once i complete the message the phone crashes and i have to close all open apps, phone is one month old and I am beginning to regret the change from an iphone. MMS's always make the phone freeze also.

I was hoping a software update would of fixed this issue but sadly it didnt. Not too keen on a much slower phone than previous phone for a further 23 months as this is the remainder of my contract.
