Apr 30, 2012I managed to deleted all the text messages between my partner and I accidently when I had to get my faulty iPhone 4 replaced. Unfortunately they are not in my most recent backups either which is very strange (only the history pre-January 2012), and I'm embarrassingly devastated by this. I have restored it to every back up I have and they are not there... They are a mix of iMessages and normal text messages. Is there any way I copy the conversation from my boyfriends iPhone/back-up?

May 17, 2012When I'm texting with John Smith, if John Smith sends me a text while I'm viewing our conversation, I will get a notification (i.e. sound, vibration, etc.) but not see the message. In fact, the button in the top left that takes me back to Messages will show that I have a new message by becoming "Messages(1)". When I exit the conversation to all of my messages, John Smith's conversation will have a blue dot indicating that he has sent me a new message, so now I must go back into our conversation in order to fully read the whole message.

Apr 1, 2012My iPhone 3GS got problem now, when I make converstion (call or receive) for more than few minutes, I got line cut off and the iphone showed apply logo. I had to take few minutes to reset it or recharge it although it had already almost full bettery.
I read from a forum / community they said have to "replace the device"...

Jun 25, 2012This is my first iPhone and one of the main reasons I was so excited to have a smart phone was because I could ae all of my messages. I love to go back and reread conversations. I tried doing this in one of my threads and I noticed it would no longer let me see the very beginning. I know I never deleted it. I checked again a few weeks later and noticed I could see even less. I don't have an automatic delete set up and on conversations without iMessage I can see the whole conversation fine, and those threads extend even farther back than the other one.

Recover IMessage Conversation To IPhone From Computer
Jun 23, 2014While trying to reply to a conversation on iMessage, my screen briefly glitched and ended up deleting a conversation that I didn't have any intention of getting rid of. Because I use i Message on my Macbook (and iPad) as well, I can still see the whole conversation as it was on my computer, but I can't figure out how to transfer it back to my phone. How can I go about doing this without accidentally deleting the conversation from my computer too?

Also my phone can barely last more than an hour if I use it to download and view my PDF files from my inbox using 3G and a quarter of my battery is drained just from listening to it for an hour.

Mar 22, 2012I accidentally deleted an entire correspondence (conversation) by accidentally hitting the "clear all" button. <Side note: Apple really needs an undo option here or a password confirmation before it just deletes it! I have done some searching through the web and discovered that even "deleted texts" are still embedded deep within the phone.
I need the steps to recovery the messages. Unfortunately, I thought that my phone was syncing daily with my laptop, but it looks as if it was not automatically set up. iTunes would open up and want to sync apps, but apparently not the messages. I don't know enough about iCloud to know if it would be possible to pull the old texts from there, but I'm pretty desperate.
I've downloaded Decipher Textmessage recovery and Wondershare, but as they both initially couldn't pull anything from iTunes, I did not push it further as I thought best to stay in holding mode. I know there is the iPhone Recovery Stick from ProofPronto but it's uber expensive and so if there is another way, I would rather go that route.

Jun 28, 2012I continue to lose sound during a face time conversation 3-5 minutes into the conversation. The other end can hear me fine, but I can no longer hear them. I usually hang up and call again and it's fine for awhile longer. I've called into Apple several times and so far the advisors have never heard of this problem. So far I can duplicate it when using my earbuds or without. I use my iPhone4S and my sister users her iMAC. Apple had me reset and test. Of course the next call I made for 6 minutes was fine. I made a call to the same person later in the day and could no longer hear 2 minutes into the conversation.

Jun 30, 2012I have an iPhone 4 and lately my iMessages have been deleting on its own. For example: In the middle of April 2012, I got a friend's number & we started texting. We stopped texting the very end of May because they got a new number. I like to go back & read old conversations, but when I go back to the beginning of our conversations in April, they are no longer there. It started the conversation like a week after we first started texting.
When I go to delete text messages that they sent twice by a mistake, some of the beginning of our conversation in April comes back. I don't understand why my past conversations are deleting on its own ONLY for iMessage. My SMS text messages for one person are all still there, from when we very first started texting to 2 days ago. Why is it not like that anymore for my iMessage conversations?
