My iPhone 4 shut down in the middle of a conversation and won't restart or charge now. Any suggestions? The nearest Apple store is hours away and I depend on my phone to stay in constant touch with my child's specialist.

Everyone just said "I don't know but would you like an upgrade"? The phone had not been dropped or wet. Also, no, It was not backed up and yes I lost everything!

Suddenly the phone shuts down and restart but after the LG Logo showed up it shuts down again and do the same thing all over again. It does not happen if the phone is being connected to a charger but as soon as i remove it, even if it says fully charged it will do the same thing.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone charge only lasts half day generally and shuts down at anywhere between 30% and 10% charge. I have contacted apple and my battery is not part of the recall and they did a diagnostics report from the phone and say its fine.
I can't upgrade for 12mths due to contract but don't think i can keep putting up with this.

i cant make my iPhone 4 charge any more than 1%.
If I connect it to the charging cable, it will be able to boot up... but after approx. 3 minutes, the screens FADES off and then the phone reboots.
My iphone 4 is 2 year old now and sometimes i cant use it without charger i mean after charging it all night the next day when pulling it out of the charger after 1/10min it shuts down but sometimes it keeps working till it gets to 60/70% charge left!

x10 shuts off at 60-65% charge. PC Companion has been run, and android re installed. Apps removed. Same problem persists. Phone will run when pugged into power. When unplugged from power will not operate below 60-65%. Phone can be started but will shut off immediately.
My first x10a was replaced without issue when you had to stand next to router to receive wi-fi signal (carrier=Rogers). The warranty on this 10 month old phone has expired as Rogers only looks at the original purchase date

From time to time, the phone will not start charging when power cord i connected, simply nothing happens. when I restart the phone the charging will start (with the same original charger).Â
For the last few days my phone battery only lasts 8 hours without hardly any use. When I plug the charger in, nothing happens. I have to switch off the phone which sometimes reboots when I do this, then it starts charging. I use advance task killer to shut as many apps down as possible but the battery still drains fast. I havent installed anything new for a while. I have looked at the tips on batterys forum but still cant find the problem.

Similarly, one cannot plug in the charger to the phone and then plug the charger into the car outlet - phone does not start charging.
