Apr 28, 2011I have a symbol on my blackberry curve screen that won't disappear, it's on the top left part of the screen and it's a red triangle with 72 in the middle. I thought it had something to do with the amount of e-mails, but I deleted them but it won't disappear.

Apr 19, 2015Somewhere I saw this setting to put the ringer on silent when a call comes in. There is a toggle for it somewhere and now I can not find it. It allows you to mute a call ring by turning the phone screen down. Where that setting is? I looked in settings in the phone dialer and also in the ringer and sound settings....don't see it now. Im on denim.

Jan 19, 2010I downloaded a few application that I thought were demos of games, but turned out to just be links to the developer's website. It was essentially just a ploy to get some extra revenue, which I suppose is their perogative, but I found the label to be misleading. In any case, I now wish to remove these "demos", but I can't seem to figure out how. The menu on selection won't let me remove the icon (it can be hidden, but I want it gone), and they don't show up under Setup --> Applications.They also don't appear in App World, so I can't archive/delete them from there. I've been working on this for a while now, to no avail. Any thoughts?

Jun 2, 2014On my iphone I manually manage my music and home sharing is not activted on my phone. I had a hard time getting icloud songs off from there, but somehow after much trial and error I was able to get those songs off. However, I still have at least 10 random songs on my iphone that I have not intentionally put on there. There is no icloud icon next to those songs. The songs are not on my computer list of songs that are "on this iphone", but they are in my itunes library. I want those songs off! I've tried syncing and unsycing. I've tried unchecking the songs in my library. There still on there.

Jun 8, 2010I have a Blackberry Curve 8530 (Verizon). This red circle with the letter W in the middle appeared yesterday next to the envelope symbol for new msgs, etc. at the top of the main screen. It has a tiny arrow on the bottom right-hand edge, and a number 1 next to it. What is this? And where to I go to open it, read it, or see what's it's indicating?

Lumia Icon :: Ringer Volume Drops For Some Reason
Jun 4, 2014My Icon drops the ringer volume for some reason. I can set it up to say... 20 or so, and next time I check it, it's back at 13. Very inconvenient as it's in my purse which muffles the sound.
Verizon replaced my first Icon because they thought it was a hardware problem, but this second phone does it too. I still have WP 8.0. I do not get the little down arrow to expand the volume bar . Mine just switches from ring + vibrate to just vibrate. I understand the little down arrow on the volume bar will come with 8.1. Is there anything I can do now to keep my volume up? Verizon mentioned some update that they tried to install, but apparently that wasn't the solution. Is this a common problem with this phone.

Jun 10, 2012My iPhone 4S has been constantly displaying the ringer volume since this morning. I have tried turning off my phone and turning it back on, resetting my phone, syncing it to iTunes, and pretty much everything else. Everything is functioning correctly, and I'm able to navigate my phone normally, but it's an inconvenience to have to try to look at the things on my screen through the ringer volume notification.

Sep 9, 2014Why it's not possible to adjust the ringer volume at the lock screen? Even though it's possible to adjust the volume during music playback and responses from Siri, etc.Â
There are a number of times during the day that I just want to be able to quickly pick-up the phone and adjust the ringer volume. If there was a profile app available in the app store that allowed me to automatically set different volume levels at different times of the day it would be great - particularly if the app didn't require me to jailbreak the phone.Â
What is the reasoning behind it? I heard someone suggest once that it's intended to protect against the volume buttons being accidentally pressed if the phone is inside an enclosed space, i.e. handbag or pocket, but I've never personally experienced this when jogging with the phone in my pocket while listening to music on my headphones. And if it's for security reasons, then why is anyone able to switch my phone into silent mode?Â

Extremely annoying, and it was fixed somehow at the time, but now it's happening again, regularly. (I think once you go past a minute or so, the screen goes off).
