Say I'm in my SMS thread and I'm scrolling up to get to the middle of one of the texts. As I'm scrolling up, randomly my phone jumps to the bottom of the messages.t's really frustrating. Is something wrong with my trackpad?

Wondering if any of u have gotten ur verizon 9650? If so have u noticed ur trackpad left side being higher than right? I ask becuz as we all may know the sprint 9650 has that. Doesn't bother me...nor do I think its defect.

The cursor switches appropriately when just navigating vs. hovering over a link, but the track pad will not regist any "clicks".Has anyone encountered this or know of the fix?
View 8 Replies View Relatedno matter what settings I use on the 9650 "Memory" settings. I cann't get any computer (Windows 7 or XP Pro) to recognize the device as "mass storage device" so I can access the memory card. There is plenty of items on the card, and I can access them fro mthe decive, but the computer won't "find" it. This is with DM 5.0 and 4.7, on windows XP Pro and Windows 7.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI purchased the 9650 bold a few weeks ago. I do not do a lot of texting, but when I do, the texts are pretty long. On my old BB I hit the back arrow key and it saved to draft, (i would often have 4-5 texts in draft before I sent all out) If im not mistaken you cant do this on the new 9650?? Do I need to get an application to assist with this? ANy suggestions? Sorry if this is a rookie question but...Im a rookie when it comes to these phones.
View 11 Replies View RelatedWhen I upgraded my 9630 to my new bold 9650 I had a 16gb micro sd card in the 9630. I copied all of the files from my card to my computer, put the 16gb card in my 9650 and formatted the card. I then copied all of the files from my computer back to the sd card and put the card back in the 9650. All seems to be ok, I have my pictures etc. When I go to connect my BB 9650 to my computer I get a message on the BB that says: "Content rights do not match this device. Please insert the media card back to the right device." this only happens if I have the memory option set to "Auto enable mass storage mode storage set to NO" Any ideas?

Is anyone else having trouble using the "Vibrate in Holster" setting? My 8330 would automatically switch to vibrate when I put it in my holster that has the magnetic closure. My 9650 fits in the same holster but doesn't seem to switch to vibrate even though I have that setting chosen under my sounds profiles.

Anyone else have this problem? I usually sleep with my Bold in bed with me (who doesn't) lol, and have been waken up many times to a sizzling hot phone. like burning up hot. I put it on the nightstand and seems to cool down. but I always slept with my tour laying next to me in bed, and it never got that hot. Please let me know, or test this theory tonight Just want to make sure it is not a bad phone or battery. thanks for your time.
Not being weird its my alarm clock and i don't have a nightstand on my side of the bed and I sure as heck am not leaving it on the nightstand with my wife's bold. mine needs comfort lol. Also i realize this may have been posted before, but i am more looking for 9650 specific threads. and more charging specific threads as well.
Is the keyboard on the 9650 exactly the same as the 9630? Or is it the same as the keyboard on the 9700? The keyboard on the 9700 is much nicer in my opinion to that of the 9630 as its a little wider it seems and keys seem a touch bigger.
View 14 Replies View RelatedSince my contract is up on Sunday (for me and my mom anyways, my dads isn't until october, so they are making us pay the early termination fee or go without a phone for 3 months, oh and this is Verizon i'm talking about, but you probably could've guessed that) and I am thinking about either getting a bold 9650 or curve 8530 for Sprint, since Verizon makes you add $30 onto each blackberry(crooks). But I was looking at the features and I would like the Bold but for some reason the cheapest I can find it is $99, while the Bold for Verizon I can find for free. My question is, is the Bold a lot better, enough to spend 100 dollars instead of 50? and why is it that I can find the Verizon bold for free but not for Sprint?

View 14 Replies View RelatedI searched but could not find an answer so I apologize if this has been brought up before.I was one of the fortunate group that was able to exchange a defective tour for a brand new in box bold. I was going through the device switch wizard today when I happened to be holding both devices side by side. I noticed that the screen on the bold is significantly more yellow than that of the tour. I have not noticed this issue discussed previously.Do I have a defective unit or is this the standard bold screen? Thanks for any input/info you can give. View 1 Replies View Relatedrecently my lock button at the top hasn't be working properly, it will lock, but then won't unlock until he 10th push. Also the trackpad sometimes does not scroll up, only left and right. Also some of my letter/number keys (all the ones under the trackpad) haven't been working the first time I press them! Also the camera button isn't working sometimes, it clicks to take, but doesn't do the first mini click to focus. And lastly my ALT button hasn't been working sometimes. I've done reboots and it doesn't help. The wierd thing is, all the problems are intermittent.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Bold 9780 started having glitches a couple of months ago. The P & del buttons started doin weird stuff then one night the phone switched itself off. I had to do the taking the battery out thing to get it on but it continued to switch off. I searched the net and found a solution. I took the battery out for a while then gave it a long 24hr charge. This got the phone working again. I still had a few problems with the p but nothing to serious. Over the last week the problem with the p started to happen again and 2 nights ago the phone switched itself off again. I did exactly what I had done before and it worked but once the phone is on I cannot scroll the trackpad on the main screen which means i cant do anything. if i push a few buttons i can get onto the search screen and get onto the menu where the scroll works but if i get into certain apps like messenger it doesnt scroll again. it also has been switching itself on and off again. when it first started i could still connect it to the desktop software, now i cant even do that.

It has been like this for about 4weeks.I have not dropped it or kept it near water.its just 2monthes old and I baby it so much.there is a tiny red light(I think its the infra-red)showing inside the trackpad so I think its not totally spoilt.since this problem started my phone takes too much time(about 10mins)to come up anytime I take out the battery.and most times the phone is slow in operating. It has worked twice during the 4weeks interval.the first time my battery was flat and I removed it from my phone then when I wanted to charge it came up at a normal time(1min)and was scrolling but stopped scrolling again in about 2mins while I was using it. The other time was wen my camera was not snapping and was giving me error message I removed the battery and put it back and it came up quickly and trackpad was scrolling. I noticed it was scrollin but I did not scroll it much after about 12mins I decided to check and it was still scrolling but when I continued to use it,it just stopped in about 1min.

When I receive texts, and there are multiple texts from the same number, the thext screen freezes and no matter what I do, I can not scroll UP to see the previous messages. Touch screen or the touch pad does not work. You can visibly see the time stamps changing to previous messages but the messages do not scroll at all. You can still exit text messages and all other scroll works fine. I have had to hard reboot to get rid of the issue. Then it returns after a week or so later. I have updated the software via VZ when they sent an operating systems update.
