I can see everything the group does but noone sees me. They were able to see my messages before I did a software upgrade to version 4.7.1.61. I've done a couple of battery pulls and they are not working.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have several contacts on my BBM that work fine individually. I have 1 group set up on my BBM (I'm not the administrator). There are 4 members of this group. This group has been set up for a couple months and was working great until last week. Right now the other 3 members can send and receive messages normally. However, I can only receive messages. No one is getting anything I send the BBM group. We have tried several things to remedy this, but nothing has worked. We have deleted and re-added me to the group. We have started a new group (with the same administrator) and I have started a new group with me as the administrator. Still, no one is receiving my messages. Again, I can individually BBM with these same people no problem.

So this all started about two weeks ago. Every time i get a mms message from someone i get it first about 5-10 min after they send it, then again about 1-3 hours after they sent it. Ive tried several battery pulls, with no luck. Im running 5.0.0.591 (I know it has problems, but I couldnt get the Sprint upgrade figured out )

The main thing that is bugging me is that i'm not able to receive group messages when any of my friends send them via their iPhones.
Checked the following basic things but not sure what else could be the problem... I am not able to send Group messages from Nokia C7.I am sending messages to a distribution list having 70 members in it, only 20 messages are going fine and the remaining 50 stuck in the inbox saying Failed or Resend at XX:XX.Then i usually try to click on each message in the out box and send them again. [i dont know why there is no mark all option in outbox ] But from 3 days eventhough i am trying to send the 50messages again it is just saying Resend at XX:XX.
1) I tried sending the messaged from OVI suite but no luck
2) With help of vodafone customer care i verified all my message settings, message center number and everything are fine. (if they are wrong the first 20 should also stuck na..)
3) I thought it was a n/w problem i called to vodafone Customer care and they asked me try in another phone.
4) I have taken my old nokia 5310 Xpress music inserted the same sim and sent the 70 messages, they all went very fine.
I send a lot of different texts and I want it all arranged under one name, instead of having like 7 or 8 messages under one message if you get what I am trying to say here.

I have Verizon for HTC One and people with iPhones from same and different carriers will get my responses in a group message but anyone I know who owns any phone that is Android or Windows only gets blanks from me.
Is there anything that can do about it on my end or is this an Android, carrier and/or HTC problem?
I've had the nexus 6 for a little while but just started noticing that while in a group conversation I only receive messages from one person and absolutely nothing from the other. Mostly everyone that I know has an iPhone. I had one as well but I made sure I turned off imessage before I switched to the Nexus.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I receive group messages (whether from iphone, android, or windows) they show up in individual message threads. I have to download them, then they disappear from that thread and show up in the group thread.
I do not get a notification when they originally come through in the individual thread. I have to open my messages app and see an unread message. I do get a normal notification though once it has downloaded and transferred to the group thread.
I have group messages checked in the message settings
I have data roaming checked in data usage settings
I have AT&T
I use the stock messaging
I also have this same issue if someone sends me a picture, no notification and it must be downloaded
Is it due to having background data restricted? I cannot turn it on to see if it changes anything because I have a small data plan and don't want to risk going over.......
When i go to the settings of my Messages App, then Multimedia Messages, I don't see the "Group messages" text box.

- Auto retrieve
- Roaming auto retrieve
- Set restrictions
- MMS Alert
How come i don't have Group messaging like other people ?
Since the Lollipop update (I know, I know...) my group text messages haven't been downloading. Sometimes I'll see the MMS trying to download but it just times out and I never see it.
But then tonight I found out that I wasn't receiving any text messages from my roommates. The individually sent texts would come through but not the group ones.
Verizon ended up having me do a hard reset and it still didn't work.
The kicker though, my roommates turned off the iMessage/turn to regular SMS on their iPhones and app future text messages started coming through.
But I wasn't getting text messages from others with Androids too. It seems to be only on group messages though.
WhataApp: Vibrate is turned off in the app for group messages and only turned on for private messages, but the phone vibrates for all messages when the phone is on vibrate. Before, in vibrate mode, the phone only would vibrate for private messages.
Text message: Use to vibrate twice to differentiate text from other notifications, but now only vibrates once like all other notifications.
I wanna group my Contacts,Photos, Messages. Who knows how?

However, upon getting a brand new iPhone 4s (Verizon) I discovered that my phone still does not send or receive group texts. I have turned on group messaging so I should be receiving them. I Have a iphone 5, just did the update, now my texts dont show up in the group message. Checked the details everything looks good, reset the network setting and turned off the phone, which did nothing.

I just replaced my droid based phone with an iphone 5s. I have MMS turned off to save the amount of data we are using. But now I cannot send or receive group text messages. This is a major issue for me since my kids' sports coaches use this to give us updates...etc.Â
Is there a setting I am missing? I am almost wishing I had stayed with my old phone.

Everything went smoothly during the upgrade, ever since then I have been having trouble with receiving text messages and MMS messages. I have gone to 3 sites for free ringtones have sent the ring tones to my phone, I have not received anything. I also have setup google voice and I am not getting any text messages from people tht text my google voice number.
