I have been unchecking the "group message" box on my Samsung S6 when I send out a picture...however it seems to go out as a group message still. And when I go back to the text it rechecks the group message box.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9900. Under "contacts" I have created a distribution list, mainly my baseball team so if a game is cancelled, I would like to address them all in one swoop. The problem is, only 8 out of 18 receive a text. I go to the "text message" icon, press the blackberry button on "compose text message". When it asks "To:" I select from my contact list, my baseball team.
Some of the entries on my list have an email address only while others have both. What do I have to do to successfully reach everyone on the list? Would it work better if it were only email or mobile addresses? Does it matter whether they are MTS or Rogers customers for their cell phones? Do I require to add 1+then the area code for the cell phone numbers?
I have a samsung galaxy s5 smartphone. I can set up Group contacts in my contact folder but cannot send group emails in my email client, MAILBOX...

This is fine for normal text messages but pictures are expensive to send. When I receive a multimedia group text, the texts only show the originators number and not the other Group numbers.
This phone is a SAMSUNG GALAXY 6, using Android 5.0.2
Other suggested truning on Group Conversation or Group Messaging in the settings , but that option does not appear.
The instructions I received are below , but like I said, it did not show up on the settings.Is there a difference in the Android versions that would cause the menu to be different or the setting to located somewhere else?

3.) tap MORE AT TOP RIGHT OF SCREEN

When I try to send a picture to someone it just sits there and says sending forever. I had wifi on so the connection is good. Why is this?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have several contacts on my BBM that work fine individually. I have 1 group set up on my BBM (I'm not the administrator). There are 4 members of this group. This group has been set up for a couple months and was working great until last week. Right now the other 3 members can send and receive messages normally. However, I can only receive messages. No one is getting anything I send the BBM group. We have tried several things to remedy this, but nothing has worked. We have deleted and re-added me to the group. We have started a new group (with the same administrator) and I have started a new group with me as the administrator. Still, no one is receiving my messages. Again, I can individually BBM with these same people no problem.

View 9 Replies View RelatedOn two occasions now, I've sent a text message to a group using the Verizon message app. The first time, some contacts were in my contact list and others weren't. I entered their numbers putting a space after them. I send the message, and see the following: sent to some.
I then added all numbers to my contact list. The second time I sent a text, I just kept going back to the contact list and adding each person to the text. I sent it out, and again it says: sent to some.Why can I not send a group text?
Unfortunately I got the ICS update a couple of weeks ago. I use my Razr Maxx as a business phone and since the update I can no longer email 'groups'. I have deleted the groups and entered them again....I have spent HOURS on the phone with Motorola and Verizon and all they keep doing is guessing at the cause. Motorola actually remotely accessed my phone and tried to figure out why this isn't working now with NO LUCK! I should be able to enter the group name in the To: and the group pull up. But it appears as though someone has FAILED to enable this simple function. Why in GOD's name even have 'groups'. I could do this on my blackberry in 2002. What a failure.
To be clear.This was no issue until the ICS update.it doesn't work on either Gmail or the Corp Exchange acct.This is clearly a failure and will take some type of update to fix.
Been pretty happy with the ICON. Noticed a problem with sending group messages to Sprint Android users from Verizon ICON. They are getting a blank group message. Tried an Android on ATT and it worked. My friend tried it from is WP on Verizon and he gets the same results. Tried to talk to VZW and "We'll look into this" and now its marked as resolved but the same issue exists.

However, I cannot seem to find a way to do this with an X10. On my old Nokia, it was really easy, but having come into the modern world and finally upgraded to a smartphone, I would have thought this would have been a no-brainer!
View 8 Replies View RelatedI first noticed it when a buddy sent me a picture from his HTC one . It was very small and not very detailed. I picked mine up on Friday and noticed when I sent a picture to my friends through mms that it was only sending 32 kb size pictures. The actual photos are .91 mb's. My question is short of emailing the picture is there anyway to send the photo in full resolution over mms? The stock messaging allows for up to 2mb so why does it compress it so much. I have switched to sending pictures with handcent, but that is not a real practical solution.

Is there a way to uncheck this box .I'm so confused because all my important documents, images, music are stored in these folders.it won't let me uncheck the hidden box? I need them to be visible.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm in the middle of a home renovation and I'm taking pictures of materials, design ideas, the work in progress, etc. I'm also taking other pics too - family, etc. - and I'd like to be able to group pictures other than just chronologically as they are taken so that I don't have to search through 100s of photos. To be able to group all the reno pics together so that I can swipe through them without hitting unrelated photos would be a HUGE timesaver. I know that the edit functions include Delete, Share and Send, but is there a Move function that is hidden somewhere so that I can do so without having to sync with iPhoto or iTunes to manipulate the order?

It's funny, but annoying, since I cannot simply do an alt +$ without coming up with and English pound symbol.And, spell check is always trying to change my spelling to British English.Here's what I've tried so far: Toolbox: typing and language: language: input language: Manage.I get this far, but both English (UK) and English (US) are checked and I cannot uncheck or delete UK English.Physical Keyboard Input; Voice Dialing; & Voice Search are all set at English (US), yet I still can't type in US English.I bought the phone at a Verizon Wireless store.I've unchecked all other languages in the Input Language/Manage menu.
