IPhone :: Prevent IMessage Sending Pictures As A Costly Text Message?
Mar 14, 2012when I send a picture message to someone with an iPhone 4s who doesn't have wi fi on, the message goes as a text message. This is fine for normal text messages but pictures are expensive to send. Is there any way to set it so it sends normal text messages if the receiver has no wi fi but never sends picture messages as text?

Nov 10, 2011My daughter has a BB curve and has a problem sending text messages to one of her friends. She gets a message back saying that there are insufficient digits in the number. However, she has the correct number in her contact list and has also tried to reply to a received text from the friend but gets the same message. I have the same number in my BB Bold 9700 and she is able to send messages successfully from my phone. She has also re-saved the number of her contact but still no luck. This is the only number she has problems with.

Jan 4, 2012recently I was texting a lot while receiving text messages at the same time. And my phone E72 bugged somehow and the tiny icon when your text messages are being sent out is still there and won't disapear.The icon is just a tiny up arrow with a small bracket under it. The icon won't go away I tried restarting my phone many times its stil there. Now when I send out a text message I don't know when it is done sending because the icon never disapears.

BB Bold :: 9900 - Sending Group Text (Only 8 Out Of 18 Receive Message)
May 8, 2012I have a Bold 9900. Under "contacts" I have created a distribution list, mainly my baseball team so if a game is cancelled, I would like to address them all in one swoop. The problem is, only 8 out of 18 receive a text. I go to the "text message" icon, press the blackberry button on "compose text message". When it asks "To:" I select from my contact list, my baseball team.
Some of the entries on my list have an email address only while others have both. What do I have to do to successfully reach everyone on the list? Would it work better if it were only email or mobile addresses? Does it matter whether they are MTS or Rogers customers for their cell phones? Do I require to add 1+then the area code for the cell phone numbers?

I am able to send pictures via BBM to ALL my other contacts.I have removed him as a contact and re-added him.I have deleted BBM entirely and re-downloaded it using APP world and re added contacts.None of these seem to work. Sep 7, 2014I'm sending text messages to a list of people I have in an email, and I just noticed that not all (in fact, most) of the messages I sent are not appearing as sent in my Messages application. I'm sending these messages by hovering over the phone numbers in the email and selecting "Send Message" from the popup list. I then type the message I want to send, click "Send," and it returns me to Mail.Â
What's the problem here? I tested it by sending a message in the same way to one of my friends, and she told me she didn't receive it. Is there a way for me to fix this, or do I just have to manually enter every phone number into messages?

Aug 16, 2014Since the last update I have had an issue sending pictures via text messages. At first I figured I needed to turn on WiFi calling to assist in sending...this worked for a time. But now it no longer works. I can receive images just fine. I put in an image of the error that my girlfriend sees when I send her a picture.
I can guarantee that it's not a data issue. I have excellent LTE and crazy fast WiFi.
I have tried everything I can imagine up and to a factory data reset. Which I did just this last weekend.
I can send images via email, hangouts, Facebook messenger etc. Just text message problems at this point. I like the stock app and would like to keep it.
I work as an IT specialist solving people's problems all day. I've had every HTC flagship since the EVO 4g and I'm finally stumped. This is a Sprint M8 btw.
