I have important folders in the media card that someone made them hidden, I chose properties, the hidden checkbox is grayed out and I can't uncheck it. Is there a way to uncheck this box .I'm so confused because all my important documents, images, music are stored in these folders.it won't let me uncheck the hidden box? I need them to be visible.
I can't access any of my folders in the Blackberry folder of my media card. And, I can't uncheck "hidden" when I open the Blackberry folder Properties.
I have a new BlackBerry Bold.I cannot make it accept US English as my default language for outgoing messages. It's funny, but annoying, since I cannot simply do an alt +$ without coming up with and English pound symbol. And, spell check is always trying to change my spelling to British English. Here's what I've tried so far: Toolbox: typing and language: language: input language: Manage.I get this far, but both English (UK) and English (US) are checked and I cannot uncheck or delete UK English.Physical Keyboard Input; Voice Dialing; & Voice Search are all set at English (US), yet I still can't type in US English.I bought the phone at a Verizon Wireless store.I've unchecked all other languages in the Input Language/Manage menu.
I have been unchecking the "group message" box on my Samsung S6 when I send out a picture...however it seems to go out as a group message still. And when I go back to the text it rechecks the group message box.
i am enjoying the phone, a bb 9700, version 5.0.0.330, platform 5.1.0.91. i have been exploring my phone, and of course i hid some pix from my teens, did what was suggested by others and still cannot find or retrieve. i have created subfolders and dont know which they are in.
I have the latest bb Bold, and when I go into my media, explore, then click on show hidden files, I can see my hidden files but the problem is, my phone refuses to let me unhide them.
I accidentally hid an entire folder of pictures, or I think I did anyway. The folder that I think I hid still shows on my screen that lists my picture folders, but now it's showing as empty. I'm pretty sure I selected to hide the whole folder, and didn't actually delete everything in it.... I googled how to "unhide" photos, and it keeps telling me to go into media and "explore" but there is no "explore" option anywhere in my menu or even in the options submenu.
I recently went on the properties of a user made picture folder and ticked the 'hidden' option. The function works a little too well, as I can't find the folder anywhere and I don't know how to get it back!
i plugged my bold into the pc via usb and when i took it out some files were missing i was able to locate them as they were in a hidden folder when i try and unmark it from being hidden it stays grey and
Where can i find my hidden pics in my media card on my bb9700 I hate to do this, but I simply can't figure it out. Yesterday I had some of my files hidden on my phone that I could not access. The files that I want went to the media card when hidden. I've searched google and tried some suggestions, but I still can't find them. First, is there a way to get to the media card directory? People say to go to explore, but I don't have this on my device i even went on my stock theme from att it takes u too explore but it still don't show my hidden pics what gives.
I found out how to lock the keypad on the 9700 after this new screwy update to the 9700.To lock keypad press and hold "A" for 1-2 seconds or push the "lock button" at top left edge of phone. To unlock the keypad go to the very top left corner ridge on the very top of the phone and press the "lock" button. Will take some getting used to but will prevent unwanted calls while holstered or in purse. The best way I found to lock keypad without a password.
So I checked the box to hide files on my media card but it seems that I can't get them back - I am using 5.0.0.423 and the "explore" option is not present when I click the menu button under "media". Any other ideas?
Blackberry folder in my media card is continuously shown as hidden with all the contents. i am unable to unchek the hidden box in properties. how to change the settings as i am unable to view files directly on my media folder.
i want to uncheck "encrypt local backup" option in itunes i.e. i don't want backup to have password. How to do this.and I do remember the existing backup password so that's not the problem
whenever I plug it into my computer or search the Device/System folders manually they are hidden (on the bb) or they are simply not there (when i use the explorer) i hat to format the bb a few times, and the problem gets solved for a few minutes.the deal with this is that when i sync the music, wheter is copy and paste on the explorer music folder in the pc or using the BB desktop manager media sync software, it uses the device space, the music gets actually synced into the device but I cannot access this music from the media library. when i try to it says that there is only 1 song, and its the default one that comes with the cellphone; so I look up in the Files app, Device/System folders and they are all Hidden.
I dont know why this folders are hidden so whenever i wanna have access to my music i have to go to files, device folders, show hidden stuff and finally i can see my songs... the thing is that i have to play one by one and i cannot change or switch apps since its not streaming in the media player....im worried about this, Ive reseted the cellphone, backed up, even formated it at the my computer, blackberry(M) properties..
I selected hidden in the properties of photos & now I can't seem to retrieve them. I've checked the folder they were in & there isn't the option to show hidden. Can anyone advise me how to get my photos back?
this afternoon I have been reinstalling apps back onto my phone after wiping it clean. Something I do regularly. However, I've lost one of the apps. I installed CaughtU Pro and in the settings I chose to hide the app, a default pin came up on screen but not long enough for me to make a note or take a screenshot. Now I can't find the app to "show" it again. When entering app manager, the app is listed but I don't have the option to disable or uninstall it.
My girlfriend accidentally left her phone with me today. So i decided to put in some pictures of us together since all she had was photos taken off the monitor of her computer. Thought it would be sweet and all until i unplugged the USB and went to the pictures. A lot of pictures all of a sudden showed up that weren't there before. One of them was not mine. So obviously she was cheating on me. When i switched the SIM card and put in into my phone i accidentally lost the pictures and can't seem to get them back. Also, this does not work:
* Go into your Media icon, hit the menu button, and choose Explore * Navigate to the folder where the pictures are located at * Once you're in the folder, hit the menu button, and choose Show Hidden * All of the hidden pictures will appear as being dimmed out * Once you find the picture, select it, hit the menu button, go into Properties * Uncheck the "Hidden" box When i do that only one image shows. We're talking about a whole album here thats hidden?
Back story: I set up my hotmail account in my e-mail application and was never getting any e-mails. A friend of mine told me to try using my gmail account instead, so i added my gmail account to the mail app and deleted my hotmail account. i thought everything was going fine when it said that a new icon would appear on my home screen for this mail account. i waited until the little clock/processing thing was finished and pressed 'ok'. when i went to my home screen, no icon...here are the things i have tried so far:- taking my battery out to restart my phone- resetting my theme, resetting my icons in my theme- googling it; all they are telling me to do is to press 'alt+scroll' and select show icons (when i do this the scrolling voids the alt, and also they keep saying the alt key is a crescent moon which it is not for me)- went to my phone service provider and the girl there said she has had this problem before and would call the girl that helped her, and when i came back she said there was some way to 'show/hide icons but it was impossible to troubleshoot over the phone' aka she was absolutely useless.
