My internet,bbm are not working and im not receiving emails, all im able to do is text. i tried taking out the battery and then restarting it but it did not work.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought an Otterbox which means a battery pull for my Tour (Verizon) is a pain in the you know what. I had Quickpull until it got lost with a RIM 5.0 update. I go back to appworld and everybody is complaining about Quickpull. Are there other alternatives? Someone suggested bbhybrid in another thread. Do they help? What do they do? Do I 86 RIM software on my BB in order to use hybrid software?
View 14 Replies View RelatedSo my Sprint Blackberry Tour 9630 takes on average 13-15 minutes with a battery pull reset. I love the phone, and have no complaints about it except for this issue. I've had plenty of blackberries and this is taking the longest. I have no clue as to why it takes so long - I dont have any apps really installed, and no pictures/music, etc. loaded.
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas how I can make it run faster?This is the stats of my phone:

Anyone on Sprint notice that you don't get the regisration message after every battery pull? It hasn't showed up for a couple days for me

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe small clock kept showing up in the middle of the screen on my blackberry. A vzw rep told me sometimes I need to reboot my blackberry because its like a computer. So, I took the battery out and put it back in to reboot it and it won't come on. A white blank background will show up with the small clock in the middle. Then the screen will go black with the small clock in the middle and the red light blinking.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI'm having some trouble with the backlight of my N82. I've had the handset for just about 2yrs now and less than a month ago upgraded the software to V 35.0.002. After leaving the phone to charge overnight I woke up to my the sound of the alarm going off (as per usual). However, after disarming the alarm, the backlight started flashing. Not flashing at a set frequency, but an erratic flash. I restarted the phone and even removed the battery for a few minutes, but the problem persists. I thought it may be a hardware problem, but the flashing stops while there is an active window open (e.g. while having the "deleting messages" pop-up or "refreshing the music library"). Also once the power-saver feature kicks in the backlight obviously goes off so the flashing stops.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI am having a huge issues with my e-mail/internet and text messaging capabilities with my tour plus the phone constantly shuts off. I am on my 3rd tour (2nd replacement phone). This issue started about 4-6 weeks ago w/my first tour, it was replaced then the second one started randomly shutting off, then I am now on tour #3 and am having major issues:I'm not able to get a signal to receive phone calls, text messages or e-mails and today while I was at work (same spot for the last 6 months -- haven't moved and never had an internet/signal problem before) when I got out of work I had 18 e-mails, 16 text messages, 2 missed calls and my battery was practically drained and dying (which by the way under mobile connections and mobile network if I put it on 1VEX it can never find a signal or is always searching for a signal whereas if I put it as Global it can find a signal).I got this phone because I'm an avid overseas traveler and I need a phone w/me when I leave however this is causing a lot of frustration and annoyance.I've done everything to all devices:hard pull, complete hard drive wipe, updated service books, turned mobile networks on and off, made sure I had the most up-to-date software available NOTHING works.any suggestions?

Did a battery pull, double checked memory leaks, and nothing is taking care of it. It's draining at about 15% per hour. Any thoughts (other than Tours suck.)

I play with my wife's iphone and the internet is night and day. I know that the internet will never be as good as the iphone, but it would be nice to surf websites a little better on the blackberry. Is there a great internet app? Regular blackberry internet app is not that great. Some would say if I want to surf the web then get an iphone, but I am addicted to my blackberry. Love the superfast email, and BBM. Does anyone really use their blackberry for surfing the internet?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my tour.after I get a low battery notification and the radio turns off I charge my battery and then afterwards I can't send SMS.I can send and receive emails, receive SMS and surf the web, but until I do a battery pull I cant send them.Seems kind of weird that this would be normal. After the battery is charged, what is the purpose of preventing me from sending?Is there a fix?

View 13 Replies View RelatedEvery time I try to use an app that requires the internet, one of two messages constantly pop up, sometimes even both. I have the application permissions set to allow. One message is, "The application slacker_radio has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy." I can only click 'ok' after that. The other message is, "The application (any one of them) has requested a http connection to (whichever site it uses)" Then is has choices: 'Do not ask for http' and 'Do not ask for http to (whichever site it uses)' The second choice is checked by default. I've tried checking both and either box singely. Again, all the application permissions are set to allow for these apps. I've tried Slacker, Poynt, Scoremobile, Weatherbug, and . I didnt bother trying any other app.

I have no email and no internet connection.All my icons are there but will not connect to send. In the setup wizard it will not connect for email set up so I can not even send service books.

They put in a sim card and everything worked perfect: browser, emails, etc. On October 20 I quit receiving emails and could no longer access internet.

There isnt even a browser icon on the phone. How do I set up the network? Verizon doesnt let you have a bb unless you pay for a data plan, it would be pointless to have it without internet working!

The phone is on Verizon network am able to activate my Blackberry Internet Services, but these however, do not work. I am unable to use the Internet or use Blackberry messanager.Vodacom says that they do not support this phone therefore dont have the settings. Is anyone able to assit me or give me advice of how to activate and have a fully functional Internet and Blackberry messenger services?

I took my phone off charging at around 9:30 this morning and it is already down to 10% (It is now 1pm). I have had it for 10 months and the battery is crapping out....Would an OS upgrade ( I have 4.7 right now) help or should I just look for a new battery?

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a unlocked Blackberry Tour 9630 that I purchased off ebay. I'm using it with a generic T-mobile internet plan, (someone told me that it would work).
However, whenever I open the browser I would get this error: "Your decivce does not currently have any Browser Configration Service Book entries, Please contact your service provider to enable the Browser on your device".What does this mean, and how can I fix it?
So I just finished charging my Tour around 12:30am or so. I had no apps running, and went to bed. Luckily, I had a wake up call to my room at 7am, because when I looked to see why my phone alarm didn't go off at 6:30am, it was completely dead. It took about a 15 minute initial charge just to get the phone to boot. I've never had that happen before. Is this common? Anyone else every have this? Is it time to call CS and ask for a new battery? I depend on my phone quite a bit and travel frequently.
