BB Tour 9630 :: What Are Battery Pull Alternative
I bought an Otterbox which means a battery pull for my Tour (Verizon) is a pain in the you know what. I had Quickpull until it got lost with a RIM 5.0 update. I go back to appworld and everybody is complaining about Quickpull. Are there other alternatives? Someone suggested bbhybrid in another thread. Do they help? What do they do? Do I 86 RIM software on my BB in order to use hybrid software?

BB Tour 9630 :: Quick Pull Vs Battery Pull - Which Is Good
I have the Quick Pull app that works good but was wondering actually how well it works vs pulling the battery. I see people stating that when pulling the battery, leave it out fo 30 seconds and then put back in. I know that battery pull doesn't simulate this ( I don't think anyway ) since it basically shuts phone off and then restarts it immediately. Should I stop using the Quick Pull and stick with pulling out the battery?

BB Tour 9630 :: Should Tour Always Reboot Faster Than Storm From Battery Pull?
Alright so I just did a battery pull on my tour and then about a second later on my storm as I was switching out the batteries and I noticed that the storm finished the reboot about 1 minute faster than the tour. For background information on the devices the storm is wiped with the factory settings and the radio turned off, the tour has around 10 apps installed on it as well as 3 separate email accounts and had the radio turned on. So do third party apps and the radio being on affect the reboot time for a battery pull? If not should the tour reboot faster than the storm?

BB Tour 9630 :: 15 Minutes For Battery Pull Reset?
So my Sprint Blackberry Tour 9630 takes on average 13-15 minutes with a battery pull reset. I love the phone, and have no complaints about it except for this issue. I've had plenty of blackberries and this is taking the longest. I have no clue as to why it takes so long - I dont have any apps really installed, and no pictures/music, etc. loaded. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas how I can make it run faster? This is the stats of my phone: 5.0.0.624 OS 914.6mb of free space (917.7mb total)

BB Tour 9630 :: Message Indicator - Battery Pull
Finally I am getting sometime to really play with the Tour and one thing that is happening on several occasions is that I have an envelope on top of the screen indicating that there is a message unread and after scouring through all the mailboxes I find that their are no messages and the only remedy to fix this is to do a battery pull...

BB Tour 9630 :: Phone Wont Turn On - Tried Battery Pull
The small clock kept showing up in the middle of the screen on my blackberry. A vzw rep told me sometimes I need to reboot my blackberry because its like a computer. So, I took the battery out and put it back in to reboot it and it won't come on. A white blank background will show up with the small clock in the middle. Then the screen will go black with the small clock in the middle and the red light blinking.

BB Tour 9630 :: Video History Won't Go Away Unless Pull The Battery
The video history won't go away unless pull the battery. There has to be a cached file on the computer somewhere that is logging the video upload history on to my BB 9630. Is there anyway to dissable this feature? Or maybe delete the cached file?I just find it annoying that everytime I add a video to my BB that every movie that I've ever loaded on it shows back up again. well, only the video name itself, not the video. Then I have to spend the time either reading every video file name to find the one that is actually on the phone or do a battery pull to clear out the extra garbage.

BB Tour 9630 :: 24 Hours Later And It Isn't Downloading - Tried Battery Pull
Tried to download weatherbug last night and it started downloading and just stopped (?). I pulled the battery and that did nothing, I tried downloading another app just to see if it would work and the new app downloaded just fine, but weatherbug still shows "starting download" and the bar is not animating. Pressed menu button and there is no option to delete the app or stop download. What else can I do to fix this?

BB Tour 9630 :: Use Alt + Shift + Del To Reset / No Need For Battery Pull
No need for a battery pull or Quick Pull to reset your Tour. This thing is rock solid and probably won't need it nearly as often as say the Storm (at least from my experience). But if the need arises just press and hold the Alt key then the "RIGHT" Shift key then delete.Press and hold Alt+Shift+Del and your Tour will reset. EDITED to reflect the need to hold down the buttons.

BB Tour 9630 :: Alternative To Keyboard Lock Button On Tour?
I dropped my Tour and scratched up the bezel, and made the dumb decision to replace it. Long story short, I messed up switching over the buttons, and I stripped the screw putting it back in, so there's no going back to fix it. Now, when I press the keyboard lock button, it doesn't work. I figured out that I can hold down "A" on the homescreen to lock it, but now how do I unlock it?! And PS: DON'T CHANGE YOUR HOUSING/BEZEL! I would much rather have a dinged up bezel than the situation I'm in now. Looks like I'm stuck with this Tour 'till December. I hope that people listen to my housing advice, and not be naive and ignore others like I did!

BB Storm 9500 :: Soft Reset Vs Quick Pull - Are They Both Same As Battery Pull
I previously installed Soft Reset which seemed to work fine. I never completely understood whether or not Soft Reset was the same as doing a power-on battery pull. Now I hear about the Quick Pull app, which is free on App World, so I'm curious as to whether it is the same as doing a power-on battery pull. My question boils down to this: does Soft Reset do exactly the same thing as Quick Pull AND are both of these apps the same as a battery pull? Thanks-Ken B. Current Downloads: QuickPull, AppWorld, Roblock, TalkLock, Viigo, Bible, eBay, Google Maps, YouMail
