Somehow I blew it and am down to my last guess at my password to logon. What happens if I use the last attempt and fails. Is there anyway to reset my password before I take my final guess?
Recently I bought a new playbook and i have been trying to update it through my wifi but evrytime it fails. The playbook finds the update and starts downloading but after a while the download stops and there is a message unable to download software update. I also tried by reseting the router but every attempt has failed.
Since the GB update I have noticed that apps the do not install to the SD card by default fail the first time when you manually tell it to install the SD card. If you immediately try it again it will move successfully..I have already cleared the cache and factory reset to work around other odd app crash/stability issues but this items seems to persist. I have noticed the issue with/without SD card encryption enabled.
Our company was able to receive the new Bold 9900 but it seems there is an issue with activating wifi on the device. Have tried turning on Wifi, but it attempts scanning for networks then eventually fails and turns wifi off. It doesn't even list any active access points. Doing a battery pull and reset the device to factory defaults does not seem to do the trick. I am thinking it could be a defective device or perhaps a software issue. BB OS: v7.1.0.1091
I have a blackberry 9800 and its at&t, i traveledabroad to visit one of my cousin,so i wanted to use a new sim init,and its asking me for a mep code,i dont know what it is so idropped it,my cousin has entered a wrong code now its saying 0 attemptleft.what can i do to it please.please let me know what i cando.because i really need to make some calls.
I'm using maxis prepaid network. Since last 2 months, every time I renew my Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) and I restart my blackberry, I TOTALLY cannot get into it. It will ask me to sign in my blackberry ID. The problem is, every time I sign in my mail and password, I still cannot get through, it keep say that my ID or password is attempt wrong.But if I sign in using PC, laptop, there's no problem.I've problem with this before, but the supplier said, I need to re-format my blackberry. If every month I need to re-format suddenly like that, my document inside blackberry were gone, and I need to re-save it..
have setup my hotmail one up fine and one of my hosting companies in the uk with no problem when i go to install my main emails accounts which are all with the same host justhost.com i get the error message.
i tried uploading to Internet. no dice. it looks like it's sending the file, it gets to 100% complete, and then it fails with an error 401 - unable to connect to server. i tried using bluetooth - i bought a targus bluetooth adapter for my pc. i can send stuff to the torch, but i cannot receive anything. it just sits there at 'sending', but nothing ever happens. progress bar doesn't move. i tried using email - i get an error b/c the 33 mb file is too large to send.
I need to reinstall version 6.0. I made the mistake of downloading it to my Torch 9800 and something went wrong since now my contacts do not synch via my enterprise server. Other functions freeze when try to use them. I have spent hours on the phone with AT&T, later with Data Group and finally with Blackberry directly. The last technician at BB sent me to open http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320 so that I could perform a clean reload of the BlackBerry Device Software for Windows. I followed those instructions carefully. When choosing to Update my device, which should give me the option to reload, it simply tells me that there are no new updates. Calling AT&T is a waste of time because they want to do the whole procedure all over (hours) or I receive their emails telling me that I must have the wrong version If anyone knows how to reinstall version 6.0 I will certainly otherwise I'll try to ask them to replace the phone.
My BlackBerry Torch 9810 refuses to start-up and while trying to rectify this issue using Desktop Manager, it fails to get passed the "Reconnecting to JVM" phase.
I have paired my torch to my new Buick enclave and everything was good for about a week. Starting last week I have not been able to connect to my vehicle. My phone shows the connection failed.
I just bough the Torch 9860 and already replaced another one for the same problem, and since this second have the same problem, I think it is a general problem. Well the thing is that while the phone is in 3G coverage, it sometimes goes to like a "blocked" state. By this, I mean that the phone states as connected to the network and with full signal, but call wouldn't go out nor in, data is also not available, and the most important thing is that the phone doesn't show any signs of disconnection nor anything problem alike. Up until now, I have only seen this happening while in 3G coverage, and when this problem occurs, I switch the phone to 2G only and starts working fine again.
I have VW Premium Phone Preparation in my 2010 vehicle and have had previoulsy had it paired with a HTC Tourch Pro and it worked perfectly.I have now changed my phone to a BB Torch 9800 and are experiencing some teething problems with the BB and the VW car kit.I have had the two units paired and working but when I leave the vehicle and then return, I have to stop the bluetooth services on the BB and then restart them before the phone will successfully pair with the VW car kit.The software version on the phone is 6.0.0.246
any suggestions what to do gratefully received have done the ususal, turn everything of and on, remove battery, all are charged ok but computer doesnt seem to recognise bb any more and cant connect
I tried to update the phone by connecting it to computer thru PC companion and followed the instructions till the time it asks to disconnect the phone from computer remove battery for 5 secs and turn on again. Now at this step the phone is not turning on and whenever i press the power key, red notification light is blinking 3 times and nothing else is happening.
A day after the update any time I try to call someone, I get a "call not sent" error on the first attempt. When I try again it goes through. I have deleted the contact cache with no luck. Any way before I hard reset?
Just got a new 9300 to upgrade from a Pearl. Started doing an update and it seemed to have finished. When unplugged the phone the screen went dead and have a blinking red light (twice on then pause and repeat)
Have downloaded JL_Cmder as other posts seem to point to this. But unsure how to install stuff after the wipe as the current Destop software does not seem to correspond to the help that is being presented in the forums and on various web sites.

I've just purchased a new SE Xperia pro ( factory unlocked).However, for some reason the supplier has advised against attempting to update the software. I'm not in a hurry to do so, but would like to know why they might have advised that and are there any steps I can take to a) avoid the phone updating itself and b) if I should want to try an update is there a way to downgrade if it doesn't work?I'm in the UK and will be using this phone with T-mobile network.
My telephone is in a too many attempt lock, i did a update service a few time but now i still get the same screen with the log in of my google account.
When i press to activate Voice to text on my LG keypad the mic opens but then I keep getting "Can't Open Microphone" above the mic logo . Just below that but faded out text is "Try Again" below that is the Microphone Icon and below that is the the word/logo: I am using the swifkey keyboard but it was working with this and when I use the google keyboard ...same problem...
I have this annoyin problem AGAIN!!! Each time I attempt to make a phone call I get a connection error message and also can't receive or send sms or receive calls but I can get on the net via wifi and wap.The phone has been back to a nokia repair center where they replaced my camera lens (which was OK) and completely ignored my reasons for need of repair...It came back with the exact same errors it went with, I read on here how to do a hard reset which for some reason worked for a day then the phone continued with the connection error. I have sent numerous emails to the so called Nokia Support Center and have yet to receive a reply after 2 months, I've also rang them and have been passed around various places and ended up on the phone with the 1st person I spoke to, none of these people could help me..
I bought the N97 from a seller on eBay and was completely sealed brand new in the box and the seller is unwilling to communicate or help. The phone is sim-locked to vodafone.. It is an original n97 not a clone or copy. I've tried updating to the latest version but ovi updated says it don't exist. Is there anyway to get a replacement handset from Nokia or anyway to force them to respond and help me, or is there anyone out there know what my problem is? Thnx for any help.
I had a new nexus 5 running on android 6.0 ,I was planning on rooting my phone , had the oem bootloader unlocked - the twrp installed , however after flashing the elementalx and beta supersu , my phone was in a bootloop for 4 hours. I did everything as told in the tutorial video for rooting and now i think that by flashing the nexus 5 stock rom it might be useful in recovering my phone... How to flash stock rom on nexus... when I tried getting into the recovery mode it was still in twrp ...
my iphone 4 and went onto itunes (latest version) to back it up and restore. After the restore, I got an error message saying that it couldn't restore the phone. However, now all I have on my iphone is the little itunes logo with a lead and an arrow pointing to it. I have tried to turn off and on the iphone - I have also tried a hard reset on the iphone but it keeps coming back with the same thing. The iphone is not showing up in itunes now either so I can't do anything there.
My son bought me a new koodo blackberry curve 9300 from best buy but we are on telus server in bc. He was given a web site by best buy - cellunlock to get an unlock key code for $7.99 i think. They sent us about 9 pages of instructions. The curve 9300 wasnt listed specifically so I tried the first number on the list (turns out I should have tried the 4th one). Anyway we had 10 tries. After the first entry try, nothing happened. I turned off the phone and restarted it to input another. No dice. All of a sudden I had zero tries left after trying just one entry

My Sony x10 mini doesn't turn on after an update attempt?I was trying to update my phone software because he has been really slow and with some errors, so i tried to update but there was an error during the update, they said i should turn off the phone, i did it now it doesnt turn on. When i press the button the green light appears once and the image i get is a phone and a exclamation point...is the phone ruined...?
