Nokia :: N97 Connection Error When Attempt To Make Call

I have this annoyin problem AGAIN!!! Each time I attempt to make a phone call I get a connection error message and also can't receive or send sms or receive calls but I can get on the net via wifi and wap.The phone has been back to a nokia repair center where they replaced my camera lens (which was OK) and completely ignored my reasons for need of repair...It came back with the exact same errors it went with, I read on here how to do a hard reset which for some reason worked for a day then the phone continued with the connection error. I have sent numerous emails to the so called Nokia Support Center and have yet to receive a reply after 2 months, I've also rang them and have been passed around various places and ended up on the phone with the 1st person I spoke to, none of these people could help me..
I bought the N97 from a seller on eBay and was completely sealed brand new in the box and the seller is unwilling to communicate or help. The phone is sim-locked to vodafone.. It is an original n97 not a clone or copy. I've tried updating to the latest version but ovi updated says it don't exist. Is there anyway to get a replacement handset from Nokia or anyway to force them to respond and help me, or is there anyone out there know what my problem is? Thnx for any help.

My n97 was working perfect til i installed the latest updates, since then all i get when i try to make a call is "connection error" and a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it, I cant receive phone calls either it goes straight to voice mail...The phone was sent to a repair center where they fixed my charging problems, replaced the camera lens and never bothered with the "connection error". Ive sent several emails to Nokia but no response, the phone is almost 6 months old and is on Vodafone, Ive tied another sim card in it and still no joy...Plz help as £300 is not good value for a 6 month old phone,

A day after the update any time I try to call someone, I get a "call not sent" error on the first attempt. When I try again it goes through. I have deleted the contact cache with no luck. Any way before I hard reset?

I've long wanted to switch to the Iphone but I sometimes need to go to some locations where AT&T nor verizon nor sprint have cell signals and the only way to make a call is by tethering to the wifi connection. This is possible with my tmobile phone but havent succeeded when trying to use an iphone. Is there a way to make this work?

My phone has started to play up: even when it says I have full reception, and when calling from places where I have made calls before, I am starting to get 'connection error' when I try to make a call about four tries out of every five. Also, people calling me get directed straight to my voicemail.

I own a n97 mini which ma bro gifted n the sad thing is tht he sent frm UAE. The problem is when ever i make a call or recieve a call the battery goes down to single point n the mobile shows the battery low msg n shuts off. Its real pain in **bleep**. It works fine when not making or recieving calls. To my surprise i have observed tht the battery runs out immediately when using idea sim, drains lil slow with airtel, vodafone and satys for 24 hrs with docomo sim inside. Can any one let me know atleast wat is the problem. I hav updated the firware to 11.0.045* n i think this is nly da latest.

I have 64bit Windows 7 and I cant make a connection with my nokia 6300. Although all your drivers for cables are for XP and Vista, I installed them, and my phone still doesnt appear.Cant find a phone atc.I dont know what to do, I cant use my phone for listening my music.

I have a noia lumia 710, and whenever I connect my windows phone , zune opens but then an error message prompts. " Connection error, Can't connect to your phone.Disconnect it, restart it, then try connecting again."I have tried all possible solutions.I try every steps suggested in that link.htmand also that link I could do the Certificate steps cause when I open certmgr.msc I don't see anywhere the Zune certificate.

Always when I receive a message (SMS) I get this error code:
"brMessage onReceive () - Attempt to invoke virtual method 'booleanjava.lang.String.equals(java.lang.Object)' on a null object reference"
I have an Z2 and my boyfriend has the Z3 compact and gets the same error - he tried to reset the phone and the error still ocurred.

I just got my invoice today and it claims that a lot of times I used the internet, while I only allowed the GPS to use the internet once. What can be the reason for this? How can I make sure my phone does not try to use the GPRS connection?I noticed in the GPS settings that A-GPS is used. Does that use an internet connection?

The problem was that I am unable to make SkypeOut calls.Click on the icon, I have a choice of Skype call, video call, cellular call & Skypeout Call.The contact with it's special marking SkypeOut (for me to differentiate between my phone book & skypeOut contact), immediately i get a "Call Terminated".If I click the skypeout option, a pop up asking me to key in the phone number.

Not quite sure how often most people make video calls, is it 1/1, 1/10, 1/100 - so why do I have to go through the process of selecting Voice Call every time I dial, even if it is a landline number?Good feature in 2015 but maybe a little too early for our time.Anyway enough of the rant - does anyone know how to stop this function? So that when i dial - it just dials.I just wish I had seen the 17,000 pages of questions before buying one.

I have two Nokia E71 phones. I have BSNL 3G service which is also providing CSD service. I have connected the mobiles to two PCs as modems. From hyperteminal i tried to call ATD9465234123 for data call i am getting Nocarrier error on phone it is giving connection error. As per technical spec E71 supports both CSD and HSCSD. How do you make a video call on the Nokia Nuron 5230? I noticed there was a small camera on the front of the phone screen, byt the ear speaker... Did some looking around and it's a secondary camera that can only be used for video calls. Yet, I cannot find anything about how to make one.There's no option for it on the phone either, that I have been able to find.

I have a problem with a Nokia N85. Sometimes I try to make a call I see: Connection Error, and if you call that number go again. I just happen 4-5 times a day and is annoying. The network is set to GSM. I did factory reset and hard reset but nothing. And another thing: about once a twice a day to receive voicemail messages as well as I would have called someone and had no signal ... If you can help me somehow ...? just bought this e72 two days ago,the problem is why with my integrated gps it wont work at all,plus at the gps data{position} it said no connection, i cant even check the satellite status i'm standing in a big and wide field under the sky but still it says gps works poorly in enclosed and indoor area.
