Jul 5, 2010I own a n97 mini which ma bro gifted n the sad thing is tht he sent frm UAE. The problem is when ever i make a call or recieve a call the battery goes down to single point n the mobile shows the battery low msg n shuts off. Its real pain in **bleep**. It works fine when not making or recieving calls. To my surprise i have observed tht the battery runs out immediately when using idea sim, drains lil slow with airtel, vodafone and satys for 24 hrs with docomo sim inside. Can any one let me know atleast wat is the problem. I hav updated the firware to 11.0.045* n i think this is nly da latest.

May 3, 2012When I call over 3g Data with my iPhone, VoIP apps freeze... I can still talk, but when the call ends, I can't click on anything, every thing is frozen, I can't click end, home button nor power button...After the freeze, my phone restarts itself and everything is back to normal. Also, the app hangs during a call and the phone restarts on it's own... it's really annoying.

Nov 1, 2010how can i make back up to my N8?nokia suite has a nice option but the phone is not supported at nokia updater i dont see this feature at ovi suit i see software update on top with green icon option but i dont see not back up at the n8 i have not note any program with back up as it was on my 5800( i think is there this option)i have install more than 90 apps and programs(tv,radios,ps3 news etc) and the phone still run smooth and fast but i have some paid apps as well and some inportant notes and infos?

I've tried reinstall back the v22 but still didn't work. I try to reset it to factory setting, but still not working. When I try to dail no its say "not allowed". Other function seems good.

Jul 11, 2012I really like this phone for first few days I had it, but I'm having problems with making calls and receiving calls when I wake up in the morning. The phone is fully charged or is charging before I go to sleep. The problem I am having is when I wake up I noticed that I can't make calls. The phone works and is functional, signal is strong or decent, but when I make a call, I can't hear anything. I'm not actually sure if it makes the call or not since I can't hear anything. I'm assuming it doesn't since I don't receive my early morning calls either. I have to restart the phone to get the phone fully functional again. So far it's happened all 3 nights I had the phone.

Feb 10, 2010My n97 was working perfect til i installed the latest updates, since then all i get when i try to make a call is "connection error" and a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it, I cant receive phone calls either it goes straight to voice mail...The phone was sent to a repair center where they fixed my charging problems, replaced the camera lens and never bothered with the "connection error". Mar 10, 2010I have this annoyin problem AGAIN!!! Each time I attempt to make a phone call I get a connection error message and also can't receive or send sms or receive calls but I can get on the net via wifi and wap.The phone has been back to a nokia repair center where they replaced my camera lens (which was OK) and completely ignored my reasons for need of repair...It came back with the exact same errors it went with, I read on here how to do a hard reset which for some reason worked for a day then the phone continued with the connection error. I have sent numerous emails to the so called Nokia Support Center and have yet to receive a reply after 2 months, I've also rang them and have been passed around various places and ended up on the phone with the 1st person I spoke to, none of these people could help me..
I bought the N97 from a seller on eBay and was completely sealed brand new in the box and the seller is unwilling to communicate or help. The phone is sim-locked to vodafone.. It is an original n97 not a clone or copy. I've tried updating to the latest version but ovi updated says it don't exist. Is there anyway to get a replacement handset from Nokia or anyway to force them to respond and help me, or is there anyone out there know what my problem is? Thnx for any help.
