The problem was that I am unable to make SkypeOut calls.Click on the icon, I have a choice of Skype call, video call, cellular call & Skypeout Call.The contact with it's special marking SkypeOut (for me to differentiate between my phone book & skypeOut contact), immediately i get a "Call Terminated".If I click the skypeout option, a pop up asking me to key in the phone number.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am not able to make any outgoing call from my Nokia C7 with Vodafone Sim inside it. After sometime I put some other card and It started working fine. I thought the problem is with Sim hence I put my Vodafone Sim in other phone and It also worked fine.
Whenever I am trying to make call from Nokia C7 with old Vodafone Sim it gives error "NO ANSWER".
But I dont understand that why Nokia C7 is not working with Vodafone Sim which was inside it since I purchased the phone.
My blackberry has stopped working. When I ring someone it doesn't ring their end but on my phone it says connected and when people ring me they can hear me but I can hear them. I have done a voice recording and played it back and it worked I can still receive bums and texts.

The problem is when ever i make a call or recieve a call the battery goes down to single point n the mobile shows the battery low msg n shuts off. Its real pain in **bleep**. It works fine when not making or recieving calls. To my surprise i have observed tht the battery runs out immediately when using idea sim, drains lil slow with airtel, vodafone and satys for 24 hrs with docomo sim inside. Can any one let me know atleast wat is the problem. I hav updated the firware to 11.0.045* n i think this is nly da latest.

Well, This has to be a basic feature of a smart phone (infact, any phone)
if there is a number being displayed on the screen ... USER CAN MAKE A CALL TO IT.
But unfortunately NOKIA has failed to provide this BASIC FUNCTION.
Is there any hope of getting this BASIC feature in next update?

So, it's not the antenna, but instead, I can't even open the phone app! I have to reset my phone and then I can open the app once. So each time I want to make a call, I have to reset my whole phone. This just started happening today, and the phone is 2 days old. Any advice? I don't want to do a full restore because I "restored from backup" from my old iPhone. I don't want to lose all those things!

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy n97 was working perfect til i installed the latest updates, since then all i get when i try to make a call is "connection error" and a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it, I cant receive phone calls either it goes straight to voice mail...The phone was sent to a repair center where they fixed my charging problems, replaced the camera lens and never bothered with the "connection error". Each time I attempt to make a phone call I get a connection error message and also can't receive or send sms or receive calls but I can get on the net via wifi and wap.The phone has been back to a nokia repair center where they replaced my camera lens (which was OK) and completely ignored my reasons for need of repair...It came back with the exact same errors it went with, I read on here how to do a hard reset which for some reason worked for a day then the phone continued with the connection error. I have sent numerous emails to the so called Nokia Support Center and have yet to receive a reply after 2 months, I've also rang them and have been passed around various places and ended up on the phone with the 1st person I spoke to, none of these people could help me..
I bought the N97 from a seller on eBay and was completely sealed brand new in the box and the seller is unwilling to communicate or help. The phone is sim-locked to vodafone.. It is an original n97 not a clone or copy. I've tried updating to the latest version but ovi updated says it don't exist. Is there anyway to get a replacement handset from Nokia or anyway to force them to respond and help me, or is there anyone out there know what my problem is? Thnx for any help.
