So, it's not the antenna, but instead, I can't even open the phone app! I have to reset my phone and then I can open the app once. So each time I want to make a call, I have to reset my whole phone. This just started happening today, and the phone is 2 days old. Any advice? I don't want to do a full restore because I "restored from backup" from my old iPhone. I don't want to lose all those things!

One minor irratation I have is the phone keypad not being present when making a call. For instance, if you get a voicemail and you tap on the icon the standard active call screen opens, but you then need to touch an icon to open up the dialer pad so you can interact with the voicemail system. Is there any setting that allows the dialer pad to open automatically when a call is made? Would be really great if this feature could be selective for certain numbers such as voicemail.

But whenever I make a call this phone goes off, the little red light blinks and then blackberry logo appears above a loading/buffering bar. Before the update placing calls went on without a hitch.

Then today I was on a call over Bluetooth in my car and it cut out (other person could hear me, I couldn't hear then them) but was not in a dead zone. If I have the phone on speaker or listen with headphones, I can hear them perfectly fine.

Well, This has to be a basic feature of a smart phone (infact, any phone)
if there is a number being displayed on the screen ... USER CAN MAKE A CALL TO IT.
But unfortunately NOKIA has failed to provide this BASIC FUNCTION.
Is there any hope of getting this BASIC feature in next update?

View 4 Replies View RelatedThere is one thing that drives me insane about my BB 9000 and that is when displaying the time it takes into count the time zone. When I travel my BB is also my clock. So when landing into an airport that is in a different time zone I have to take that into count. For example I live in CST, so landing into a EST city I have to go into my option and change the time zone from CST to EST. If I don't then I am am an hour slow.
Now I see there is an option in Options => Date/Time called "Date/Time Source". I have this selected to "Network". This doesn't seem to help. I do see that it updates based on the network but the time zone is still in effect. For example;
Time Zone: CST
Time: 2:30 PM
Network time: 3:30 PM
Is there a way to force the BB not to take into count time zone?
