How do you make a video call on the Nokia Nuron 5230? I noticed there was a small camera on the front of the phone screen, byt the ear speaker... Did some looking around and it's a secondary camera that can only be used for video calls. Yet, I cannot find anything about how to make one.There's no option for it on the phone either, that I have been able to find.

I've made sure that under more/settings play sound on new messages and vibrate on new messages are checked, but the phone doesn't do that.

The Nokia has a 3.5 mm jack, thus an adapter is necessary. I've scoured the web and found very little. I tried an adapter called the Headset Buddy that failed to work with the 5230: URL...
It seems that the adapters out there only support the audio going from the phone to the headset, and not for carrying the microphone signal from the headset back to the phone. (In otherwords, only to be used for listening to music.)
I just purchased the new nokia nuron and am wanting to use it as a modem for my PC. Does anyone know how to do it?

When I connect it to my computer with the usb tongle cord it gives me a few options. No matter what option I pick XP recognizes it and tries to install the driver for it but it can't find one and no cd was provided with the phone.Any ideas on how to get this to work? I tried just sending the picture via email but its stuck qued each time I try to send it.

I selected pc suite mode.. the ovi suite does not seem to pick it up.. it cant connect with it. I have installed all the drivers by previously selecting the mass storage mode and it installed drivers but its not working... Im using windows vista SP 2

But when I began browsing through the Ovi Store and decided to try and download some free apps, I get to the downloading screen but that's as far as I can go; the downloading bar never goes past 0%. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Is it maybe because I have no internet plan? View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a 16gb MicroSD card for my 5230 Nuron. How do I transfer everything from the original 4gb card to the new card? I've downloaded some apps and themes and I want to make sure they get transferred to the new card. I tried doing a full backup and restore using Ovi Suite and some of the downloaded apps made it and some didn't. I tried to re-download some of them from Ovi Store but Ovi Store seemed to think they were still there and wouldn't let me download them again. Is it as simple as copying the contents of the old card to the new card?
View 10 Replies View Relatedmy ex-girlfriend sent me a video text on my nuron from the kids saying happy birthday to my mom. i can play the video just fine, but there is no audio attached to it. i called tech support and was bumped up to tier 2, but they were unable to help me. all they said is that maybe the nuron doesn't support it. it can take videos with audio, can play Internet and movies, but can't receive a simple video text with audio?
does anyone else have this problem? were you able to solve it?i did forward the text to my wife's friend and she forwarded it back to me as is and it started playing. so i have no idea what's going on with it.
