Oct 10, 2011i bought the Blackberry Torch 9860 around 2 weeks back.due to some reason, an app downloaded from appworld was causing problems during the battery pull of my device, so i did a clean wipe of the handheld.upon restarting the device i found the Blackberry digital compass missing, it was there before wiping as i used to use it often. i can't find it under applications list when connected to desktop manager. theres no installation file available on the net.

Nov 12, 2012So this has been going on for some time now. When I install any new apps, once it is finished no icons show up ANYWHERE to shortcut to the program. I go into application managment and its there. For example, the facebook app does not show an icon and I cannot find it even in a "universal search". Yet when I go to application managament, it says its properly installed. I recently did a full wipe on the device including 3rd party apps and still it does the same thing.

Feb 10, 2011I have problem with my torch always reboot and can not enter to home screen after installed some application, i had read this problem caused by new version of bbm which connect to application and give solution to delete cod with connect to bbm such as.Common.cod, plugin.cod... I had tried it by is not work. I try to do factory reset.It works but will delete all my data excluding application. I didn't find any trace of such digital mic, be it analogue or digital... the in-built mic is of course not stereo, and the mic in the remote isn't also, leave apart being 'digital'
I'd love using my mobile to capture musical ideas on the fly, or outdoor ambiences, but all attempts using the included recorder app are far from acceptable quality, no matter the file resolution or using inbuilt or remote mic...user ' grschinon' states in the thread /t5/Nseries-Devices-and-S60/5800-mic-or-line-level-input-for-recording-audio/m-p/479174 that an external mic can be plugged in it... could anybody please explain how?

In other words, the photo mode will take wider shots than the video mode. Is this intended or how can I fix this? It doesn't look like the video mode has a digital zoom to mess around with.
