Oct 10, 2011i bought the Blackberry Torch 9860 around 2 weeks back.due to some reason, an app downloaded from appworld was causing problems during the battery pull of my device, so i did a clean wipe of the handheld.upon restarting the device i found the Blackberry digital compass missing, it was there before wiping as i used to use it often. i can't find it under applications list when connected to desktop manager. theres no installation file available on the net.

On top of it, I checked that Compass is neither present in the installed Applications list. The last thing I remember was that I had reset the phone once.

In my old Droid X it was in Menu>Settings>Location & Security>Calibrate Compass.Now, Calibrate Compass is no longer there.Perhaps the DX2 compass doesn't require calibration.

Jul 6, 2010I went out one night and when I woke up I noticed an application icon was missing on my BB. I just now realized that its BB AppWorld that has disappeared and I cannot seem to find it for the life of me. I assume I drunkenly hit some random keys and it vanished but I can't possibly imagine how I have checked all my hidden folders and every thing. My Applications page under Settings lists AppWorld and I have even tried countless battery pulls and deleting AppWorld and reinstalling it.
