I was having a problem connecting on a widget so I deleted it and reinstalled. The reinstallation was odd, the widget appeared "waiting" for several minutes and then disappeared. I went to the app store again and it shows that it is installed. The apps listed on my phone also show that it is installed. How can I delete it?

But for some reason when I try to add the twitter widget to the home screen or any of the screens I get the message "application not installed." This is only happening with twitter. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the app but same message. I did a factory reset as well but no luck. The application itself works if I go through the app itself.

I use the standard dock at work a lot; mainly for charging the device and listening to music. After the GB update, I noticed that the little widget for playing/pausing/FFD music is gone.
Any ideas as to why, and is there a fix for this? Anything in the market to d/l for a quick Play/Pause function witout having to exit from the dock software?
I'm running stock software, with no mods on the phone. Also, I am not talking about the "Play All" app launcher which moves you to the Music app and proceeds to shut the screen off at the regular screen time-out interval. This was a widget working within the Widget Clock dock software upon docking the phone in the standard dock.
How can I recover the built-in contact app. When I do a search the app shows up. But I can't figure out how to get it back on the home screen..

View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently had to wipe out my BB completely and my office IT restored the main databases.Unfortunately, I now have to reinstall again all my third party applications that I used to have (the backup file I have in my personal PC does not show the applications so I can restore them).Looking at the folders in my media card, I realize I have a lot of files related to those previous applications and wonder if I should delete them before installing the same applications again. I just now realized that its BB AppWorld that has disappeared and I cannot seem to find it for the life of me. I assume I drunkenly hit some random keys and it vanished but I can't possibly imagine how I have checked all my hidden folders and every thing. A Blackberry Maps application has been installed on my device (version 4.6.1), but the icon to start it up is missing.
