Xperia Z2 :: Bad Sound On Video Recordings
Mar 3, 2014I am VERY dissapointet on Xperia Z2 when it comes to recording video on a live concert. The video is fine but the sound gets distorted from the bass.
When the music is without bass its fairly fine but as soon as the bass sound comes in the recording is getting useless because of the distortion.
Other phones like iPhone, Samsung and HTC has NO PROBLEM with their sound on live concerts recording so WHY is SONY having this problem ?
The phone is completely useless as a recorder at concerts. Â I can only take pictures.
Xperia Z5 :: Replay Audio Recordings
Sep 6, 2012I am trying to replay some interviews I recorded with my Sony Xperia Z5. For reasons completely unclear to me, everytime I stop the replay it automatically restarts from the beginning. It thus seems like it is impossible to pause replay let alone rewind. Is this normal and if so, firstly, and more importantly, is there a way to transfer the recordings to an actually usable software or format. A recording that always must be listened to in its entirety is less userfriendly then a cassette and an LP. It can't be that Sony has regressed this much that its recording technology is truly ancient.

Nov 18, 2015Which Video recording option do you default to that provides a clean/clear playback after transferring the file to a Windows PC ? When I record at the max - UHD (60 FPS?) - it plays beautifully on my phone. But when I copy it to my Windows 10 laptop, the Media player plays it back,but it's nowhere as SMOOTH as it plays on my phone.
Is it preferable to record, say, at a setting of 30 FPS when planning to transfer to a computer? or is there a FREE app that I can grab to install on my Windows 10 system that will CORRECTLY play these higher resolution videos.

Apr 1, 2012I have tried to transfer all the voice memos to my computer no go there is way more then 30 that transfered why is this so complicated - how do I go in and grab them via the windows pic transfer file transfer box that appears.I can not do anything with the iphone that seems to be defective - what a shame.I need my mothers voice off the iphone and saved to the computer she's not well. Someone try to help with this.I wish there was someone to call - not at this time of night - not even in a province thats 3 hours behind they pretend at the store they dont know how?

May 13, 2012I'm using an iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1 and syncing it with a MacBook with iTunes 10.6.1.
I have done some recordings on my iPhone using the built-in speech recording app of intervjews for a school project, and would like to have those on to my computer and iTunes library. I managed to sync the first interview I made, but the other two won't sync to my iTunes library on my computer. I've tried to switch from no syncronization of my music library, to syncronization including speech recordings. Neither methods work.
If the app was upgraded to be able to send rordings to DropBox/EverNote etc. there wouldn't be much of a problem, but the only two sending options are by email or SMS, and my recordings are too long/big for that.

However, when i play Battlefield two and attempt to use both touch pads to move about, the game freezes and locks up until i cease touching the two game pads. FYI, im using the stock launcher and i recently reboot the phone so the stock games were deleted. its a canadian phone on the Rogers network. Should i just bring the phone in?

Jan 25, 2012I phone recently developed a problem with touch screen becomming completely unresponsive. I googled and found its a common fault with Sony Handsets. Now let me explain the list of tasks i did in order to get it back to work but invane 1- Tested a new touchpad 2- Software update 3- Software downgrade 4- Deassembling and reassembling
i think i didn't miss anything but still its not responsive. It does sometimes response but if i do restart battery pull, open back case its unresponsive again. According to my knowledge its not a hardware issue as if its hardware and need new one i already tried that its software issue and it seems that entire screen is selected when i try to neviggate through the gaming keys. I am still unable to belive that sony ericsson has still not provided any fix for the issue. If anyone has any idea or any third party software for screen please advise.

Xperia PLAY :: Supported External Speaker For Play?
May 27, 2011I am looking to buy an external speaker to connect to my xperia play, preferably a sony branded one, but definately one that is portable enough to fit in my pocket.I thought I had found the one that fit the bill perfectly when I checked the sony site and found the MS 430 which is supposed to be fully compatible with the Xperia Play (it even doubles up as a phone stand, which is pretty neat).Now the problem is my jack is on the horizontal side of my phone (opposite side to the left flipper) and not on the top end as shown in the picture to connect a phone to this speaker.So therefore the speaker is not compatible with this phone, unless of course I have a unique phone with the jack in the wrong place or the phone is connected in the upright position, which wouldnt be very good when watching video playback.
