I recorded 6 short videos last night at our daughter's musical theatre show. My husband and I watched the video recordings when we got home. Today I can't find them at all. I can find 2 previous video recordings but none of last night.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am VERY dissapointet on Xperia Z2 when it comes to recording video on a live concert. The video is fine but the sound gets distorted from the bass.
When the music is without bass its fairly fine but as soon as the bass sound comes in the recording is getting useless because of the distortion.
Other phones like iPhone, Samsung and HTC has NO PROBLEM with their sound on live concerts recording so WHY is SONY having this problem ?
The phone is completely useless as a recorder at concerts. Â I can only take pictures.
Which Video recording option do you default to that provides a clean/clear playback after transferring the file to a Windows PC ? When I record at the max - UHD (60 FPS?) - it plays beautifully on my phone. But when I copy it to my Windows 10 laptop, the Media player plays it back,but it's nowhere as SMOOTH as it plays on my phone.
Is it preferable to record, say, at a setting of 30 FPS when planning to transfer to a computer? or is there a FREE app that I can grab to install on my Windows 10 system that will CORRECTLY play these higher resolution videos.
My iPhone 5c video recordings are very soft and I can hardly hear the sound. Is this a software issue? Â

Next month I can get a new cellphone and were it not for the horrendous soundquality when recording video, I would definately take an HTC Desire (HD or not). But the sound of the HD video's is so dramatically bad I am thinking about taking a Samsung instead. Except...Is it possible to attach an external 3.5mm or USB microphone to this device to use it for videorecording? I thought I saw this with the iPhone, but Im allergic to Apple. When they enabled 720p recording video became choppy but the sound was kinda alright now after the current update all my videos are coming out like one of those kung fu movies, voice and lips are not in sync and the sound is crap.

For reasons completely unclear to me, everytime I stop the replay it automatically restarts from the beginning. It thus seems like it is impossible to pause replay let alone rewind. Is this normal and if so, firstly, and more importantly, is there a way to transfer the recordings to an actually usable software or format. A recording that always must be listened to in its entirety is less userfriendly then a cassette and an LP. It can't be that Sony has regressed this much that its recording technology is truly ancient.

I have done some recordings on my iPhone using the built-in speech recording app of intervjews for a school project, and would like to have those on to my computer and iTunes library. I managed to sync the first interview I made, but the other two won't sync to my iTunes library on my computer. I've tried to switch from no syncronization of my music library, to syncronization including speech recordings. Neither methods work.
If the app was upgraded to be able to send rordings to DropBox/EverNote etc. there wouldn't be much of a problem, but the only two sending options are by email or SMS, and my recordings are too long/big for that.

I want to save my recent voice recordings on my computer, itunes, somewhere.If I select sync all music it says it will delete everything on my phone and replace with what's on the itunes... yikes, I'd just simply like to add my recent recordings to my existing voice memos playlist and library.

My camera randomly lost the option to take videos recently (when I press the 4 circles in the corner of the camera screen, I only get the Camera or Selfie option, and the gallery preview square beside the shutter button has gone too). Also, after each photo, I get a tick or an arrow at the bottom, the arrow deletes the picture and lets you take another, the tick saves the picture and exits the app. Every time. This is no good if I am taking more than one picture.
I have just today upgraded to 5.0 Lollipop, and factory reset the phone, no joy in either case, but upon entering the app just once I got some funky photo booth option and another one too. Have booted it up in safe mode and the video options return, but after deleting any and all recently downloaded (since January) apps, nothing is bringing back the functionality.
The main reason I bought this phone was for the camera, and I'm having problems with it. First of all, it loses random pictures that I take. It's like it picks the ones it doesn't like and they disappear, or the preview is there but you click to view the pic you get gray screen with a triangle on it.
The second problem is that when I take a video and try to play it back, it plays at first but then later it will tell me the file type is not supported. How can it not be supported by the device that took the video?
I installed a hybrid OS and everything is working fine! But today I saw something funny on the street that I wanted to record. But when I pulled out my phone I couldn't find my video recorder. sucks! So I've looked in all the folders and its no where to be found. I don't normally record videos but I'm baffled. Does anyone know how I can re install it without having to downgrade my OS? The OS I have is 5.0.0.692 on my Curve 8530.

I have HTC Desire. I had some videos and pictures in my mobile. I never deleted them from my mobile, I just transferred them to my PC and with transfer they disappear. I can't see them in Gallery any more. Luckily due to the backup software Astro, i have got my Pictures back but I can't locate my videos anywhere. To remind you, I just transferred them, not deleted them from mobile.

I updated the firmware of my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1 yesterday. After the update, I noticed that I have lost all of my contacts on the phone, so I plugged it back in to the computer and went with "Restore from backup", which was dated just a few hours prior to updating the firmware.
After it finished restoring, my contacts were all back but half of my apps are missing. I tried redownloading from the App Store as well as syncing from the computer, but the data (game saves, etc) are still missing. How do I get them back?
