I created a new album in my IPhone 4S ... I added 52 photos & video to the new album .. then i deleted them from camera roll to not have double photos .. I was surprised that photos were deleted from the new album as well .. I don't have a back up .. how I can get them back ? Â

I received a replacement phone from Apple and have been trying to restore everything that was in the previous phone. I did the routine manual backup to iTunes (not iCloud) from my old phone before I gave it up to Apple and then restored that backup to the new phone but the photos don't seem to be appearing.
Keep in mind these are photos I only shot on my phone, I never imported them into iPhoto and I last remember having Photo Stream turned off. I thought doing the routine backup in iTunes automatically backs up everythingon the phone including photos. My phone is running iOS 7.1.1. I really hope they're not gone forever. Is there somewhere in my machine (mid-2012 MBP, OS X Mavericks) where they're hidden?
I backed up my iphone to my computer before going to Apple Store where my phone was replaced. Once home I synced up and my apps were restored but not the pictures and video.
Are they there or were they not backed up? If they are there why weren't they restored and what can I do to restore them?

i initiated and ios upgrade to 5.1.1 from my phone b/c it said it was already downloaded... after i kicked it off, it says i needed to connect to itunes.. however, it then said i was in restore mode.. after downloading the 800+gb download... it only gave me the option of restoring from an old restore... i thought since it said downloaded, the phone only need to update files and not the entire os. therefore i didnt perform a backup first.

so I recently by mistake deleted a bunch of photos off my camera roll on my iPhone 5C. I didn't back up anything on iCloud or iTunes, and I don't yet have iOS8, so I can't go to the recently deleted folder. I've googled it and downloaded three so-called recovery programs and they only recovered the photos I already had on my camera roll, so am I downloading the wrong programs? another way to recover these deleted photos.

I updated from 7.0 to 7.1 and just noticed that a number of my calendar entries are missing.I'm not entirely sure when this happened.I don't think it happened at the time of updating to the new OS but it's possible.I received an "out of application memory" error message a week ago and have read that people have encountered a loss of data with such an error.I did a backup of my data on May 17th before upgrading to 7.1 calendar entries = 800, today calendar entries = 369.Since I use my device on a BES all entries associated with the BES account appear to be intact but I've lost all other entries.When I went to restore the calendar entries only from the backup it is greyed out indicating that these are "read only data types and cannot be restored" when selecting "Select Data to Restore/Select device data and settings" as opposed to "All device data and settings".Unsure how to proceed - clearly the data is present in the backup based on the entry value do I need to do a full restore and rollback to 7.0? in order to recover the calendar entries??

(I clicked off the process before it had completed-hence why I only lost a few) In order to get these back, I tried a 'restore from backup'- unbeknownst to me, this back up was from a few months ago. I have now lost 300+ photos (among other, less important things). I am on Windows 7 and have found the backup files in windows explorer as suggested in numerous forums but have no idea what to do with them now...I understand that these photos may simply be lost. But at the moment I'm refusing to believe that they have been deleted from the face of the earth as NOWHERE along the line did I press 'delete' or any other such commands.

I just got the 4S and I went on a trip immediately after buying it, so I used it as a camera for the trip. When I came back I plugged it into my computer and was asked if I wanted to put my iPod touch backup on the iPhone. Thinking it would just put all the music and photos from my iPod onto the phone, I clicked yes, and also installed the newest update. I mistakenly selected restore backup on my computer with my iphone 5S plugged in and little did i know it was going to delete all of my photos and contacts that I had from the past year and send me back to my last backup which was when ios 7 came out (LAST YEAR!!) I really need these photos and contacts back, so I did some research about recovering deleted files on my phone and turns out applications like these exist. I just don't know which ones to get. Most of them range from $50 to $100 so i really don't want to have to buy two of them. Some of them are called PhoneRescue, MobiSaver, Wondershare Dr. Fone...etc and i tried all of their 'free trials' and none of them worked.

I backed up my old BB Curve last week before I went into town to get the new BB Bold.When I came home I did the switching devices thing on my computer with both phones.They both have separate memory cards in but the Curve had all my old stuff; camera pics, voice notes and vids.Since backing up the Curve or switching devices to the Bold all that has disappeared!I thought that was the whole point of backing up something was to not loose it all, but it seems to have done exactly that! I can only assume that all of those were saved on the memory card not the phone, but I'm not sure, what is the default setting, and why it has disappeared in the first place!

Using G+ on the web apps on WP8 isn't too shabby but I hated getting pictures and videos to it because it'd mean I'd have to plug in my phone to my pc and upload the photos to G+ from there. Well, that is no longer the case!!
Google released the new version of Picasa today which is the Program for Mac/Windows that allows you to manage your G+ photos on the computer. One of the biggest features they added today way autouploading photos on your PC to G+. WP8 already autouploads to skydrive so I pointed the picasa autoupload folder to my skydrive folder on my PC and it works FLAWLESSLY!!
If you want to do this you just need a few things.
1. Install Picasa on your PC/MAC
2. Install Skydrive on your PC/MAC
3. Point the Picasa Autobackup folder to your Skydrive photos folder on computer
So you'll take a photo, it'll auto back up to Skydrive, which then syncs with your PC. Picasa then grabs the photos as they are downloaded to your PC and uploads them to G+!

When I updated my 4s to the IOS 5.1 the back up did not work. I had to restore since my phone was going wack and now the back up is saying it wont work and it will not let me sync. The next day I accidentally deleted the phone number. When I went to my cell provider's website to check my call history and get the number it didn't show up. I've tried doing a number restores from the phone's memory but nothing is showing up. I didn't know if there was a way to recover this number at all or if all is lost. I know the exact time and date of when the call was made and am desperate to be able to recover this number. I would really love to recover this number! I'm working with an iPhone 5s.
