Can someone recomend a good DVD to Video converter to use with the Desire HD. I just want to load my own DVDs to watch on my phone. Also, if you've used a good app what settings do you recommend?

View 16 Replies View RelatedI've been using Handbrake to convert my movies for my iPhone 3GS. The presets are obviously wrong for the iPhone 4. Is there another converter that will convert movies to iPhone 4? Or will the preset on Handbrake work just fine? I'm using Vista.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI tried to convert some of my .avi,.mpeg4, h.264 and .xvid videos today so that I could transfer them to my n900. (As just dropping them on the phone doesn't work as they're only stored as "unreadable data files" then at least on my device.)It converts just fine.until 6-12 minutes into the video where the frame freezes. The audio may or may not continue. Does anyone know why it's like this and if it's "fixable"? or if there is some other converter that actually works?

Next month I can get a new cellphone and were it not for the horrendous soundquality when recording video, I would definately take an HTC Desire (HD or not). But the sound of the HD video's is so dramatically bad I am thinking about taking a Samsung instead. When they enabled 720p recording video became choppy but the sound was kinda alright now after the current update all my videos are coming out like one of those kung fu movies, voice and lips are not in sync and the sound is crap.

I have HTC Desire. I had some videos and pictures in my mobile. I never deleted them from my mobile, I just transferred them to my PC and with transfer they disappear. I can't see them in Gallery any more. Luckily due to the backup software Astro, i have got my Pictures back but I can't locate my videos anywhere. To remind you, I just transferred them, not deleted them from mobile.

View 6 Replies View RelatedSo I took a video of me shooting a paper ball and slightly missing a trash can from my Galaxy S6 using the slow motion feature. I took that video and transferred it to my computer to edit it and put Chariots of Fire as the background music. I saved that file, keeping the exact same file type (MP4) and transferred it back to my phone. However, now when I view it on my phone, the video is the fraction of the size even though the dimensions still say 1280 x 720. When I press the full screen button, it enlarges but only vertically. I've tried converting it to H.624 and I'm normally pretty good at figuring this stuff out but I've hit a wall.
