Apr 4, 2010Does anyone know of a safe video converter for the Bold 9700? When i transfer videos to my laptop, it says "File Not Supported" when trying to play them on my laptop.

Jun 20, 2010I've been using Handbrake to convert my movies for my iPhone 3GS. The presets are obviously wrong for the iPhone 4. Is there another converter that will convert movies to iPhone 4? Or will the preset on Handbrake work just fine? I'm using Vista.

Feb 7, 2010I tried to convert some of my .avi,.mpeg4, h.264 and .xvid videos today so that I could transfer them to my n900. (As just dropping them on the phone doesn't work as they're only stored as "unreadable data files" then at least on my device.)It converts just fine.until 6-12 minutes into the video where the frame freezes. The audio may or may not continue. Does anyone know why it's like this and if it's "fixable"? or if there is some other converter that actually works?

I try to reboot it to safe mode but it wouldn't work, I'm trying to delete third party application I used to download in the internet but my phone stop working. Now, why is it that sometimes vids record in HQ (according to the playback quality, and what facebook calls it) and then sometimes it just shows standard quality. it's weird. So I'm wondering if this is a hardware, software settings issue.When I try to capture video on my bold under fluorescent light, I will see the screen contain rolling dark band. Aug 5, 2010I watched part of the browser comparison vid that compared the 9700 to the Torch, iPhone 4 and Samsung Vibrant, and that 9700 was not a good comparison as its memory was bogged down IMO. Mine loads pages about ten times faster than the one in that vid did. Faster than all those phones, at least it seemed that way. Maybe I can find people with them and compare side by side that way.

Jan 14, 2010I just got myself the Bold 9700. Ive managed to load movies into it and they work fine except one minor glitch. Now the pic quality is brilliant and there is audio too but the only problem is that there is a few seconds delay between the audio or the dialogue and the actual scene. The audio is 1 or 2 seconds later than the actual scene.
Also when i first loaded video files into the phone and i played the file for the first time i got an option "optimize screen for playback" Upon selecting this option the video got into full screen mode but now i just do not get this option and the videos r really very small so i'am using a software where i have to increase the resolution that fits into the screen.

I figured the batt was dead but when tried to switch it on it would fully boot but show the home screen. I security wiped yesterday because of a problem with App world. Now it only works in safe mode.
