Is it possible to use the torch 9800 as an analogue modem connected to my laptop and connect to another analogue modem over the normal PSTN telephone lines?I know I can connect to the internet but in this particular case I do require the internet only the connection to the other analogue modem.

I'm familiar with this very useful app after having the Galaxy S4, for about a year.
My "only" gripe is that I can't find out how to set it to display in "Analogue" format, so that I can read it easily.
On the S4 it was it was just a case of tapping the Left soft key next to the Home button, and selecting "settings" then "view styles" then "week view" and choosing "Analogue" But when I try the same thing on the S5... the app just turns even smaller.... I really don't want to send it back for this.
I can capture a pic using the camera but when i try to capture a video using the camcorder ...it just beeps and then nothing happens..nothing is recorded ...am i doing something wrong.

I was hoping to use this to enable me to access the internet on a netbook and it seems like the Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot function would do the trick.However, when I tried this I get on to a T-Mobile page that is then asking me for more money and it seems that T-Mobile can detect that it is a different device than the phone trying to access the internet.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been looking around and I'm not really finding too much information.First of all, I need to know the dB Gain of the internal 1900MHz antenna, which is just a piece of aluminum curved around a few times. Second of all, I need to know what the external antenna plug is called. It kind of looks like MMCX, or MCX, or maybe MC-Card... Although I can not be sure unless I order these connectors to test out.
I know I can get the Wilson external antenna adapter but I think it is too big for what I need. I'd like to get something I can mount on the board permanently and just add an external 3-7 dB Gain omni-directional antenna for travel usage, or connect a 15+ dB Gain outdoor directional antenna when being used inside. Pictures below are 1, antenna connectors, and 2, screw on SMA 3-7 dB Gain antenna for use while traveling. Added a 2 pics of the jack on the Mogul for the external antenna, first is not a good quality pic though.
Why? What does the Pearl 3G have in specifications that the 8900 doesn't? Is the Curve 3G even going to see an update? Will people running v5.0**** be forgotten about?

I really love my C905a, and I was even thinking about buying a backup. I take a Lot of pictures, and having a cell camera of this quality is a must for me now, and it must also have xenon flash, and also work on AT&T 3G in USA. Do you guys know of any comparable phones in the pipeline with the camera specs of the C905 that will work on AT&T? I would even consider the Satio, but I hear it won't work on AT&T in USA. Is there anything else coming? or should I hurry up and buy a backup C905a before they are really hard to find?

(As just dropping them on the phone doesn't work as they're only stored as "unreadable data files" then at least on my device.)It converts just fine.until 6-12 minutes into the video where the frame freezes. The audio may or may not continue. Does anyone know why it's like this and if it's "fixable"? or if there is some other converter that actually works?
