I am trying to install an update to an app from appworld and I keep having the old version installed not the new one. How do I work around this. BTW this is a paid app. and the people who got it from crackberry are not having any trouble.

I have an IPhone 4 which I am trying to restore back to factory settings via iTunes. Every time I try to follow the restore process of itunes, it tries to install IOS 7.1.2 and shows it as needing 3 hours. The thing is that my phone shows as software updated and 7.1.2 and if I hit the 'check for updates' on iTunes it also shows as being updated and on 7.1.2. I have done the full reboot of the phone and restarted itunes (red) ....

No matter what I try to install, I continually get 'unable to install'. This only started happening after I updated my software!
I've reformatted twice,
I've rebooted,
I've done all the usual stuff, all my certificate thingies are off etc but still nothing!
I've done a update in my app would and when I went back on to 'bbm' it's saying ' cannot set up BBM, A temporary BBM server error has occurred' I've got wifi connected but its n still not working, bbm is still working since I'm getting messages to my phone but I can't see it since the screen is coming up saying its not connecting.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have updated my Torch 9810 to the new Telus 7.1 OS and it renders it unusable. I have tried reinstalling the OS several times, to no avail. It did that once with 7.0 and I reinstalled it and it worked great. I also tried to use app loader and I couldn't launch it, it said the file exists already and it stopped. I want the 7.1 features, but it seems to kill my 9810. The screen is semi functional for about 30 seconds with glitches then it freezes the screen and I can only use the cursor and the key board to do anything. I down graded back to 7.0 and now it works fine.

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust update my phone to 7.1 os, after the update when it restarted my phone just froze into white screen and not functional anymore. Tried taking out battery, sim, media card and put them one by one and still doing the same thing. I noticed when it turn on before it goes to white screen, a message saying "linking java" for a quick second then goes back to white screen for a long period of time and i can't use it anymore. i already contacted my service provider about this and they're taking so long to respond to me. I don't want to send it for repair again since I alreay sent it 3 wks ago for a repair from my provider due to built in media errors.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently updated the Core Application software on my 9800. The version is now 6.0.0.668, bundle 2949. When I go into the email setup, because since the update I've been receiving no email, I am presented with a list of the email addresses which I have used in the past on the device and I'm asked to verify the passwords for the various accounts. However when I put in a password for any of the accounts I always get the same response 'Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again'. This is always the response whether it's a POP3, IMAP or webmail account. I have checked that there should be add and delete options in the menu but all that is available are Switch App and Close. I have also looked at a number of backups but do not have any option to restore email settings.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo this has been going on for some time now. When I install any new apps, once it is finished no icons show up ANYWHERE to shortcut to the program. I go into application managment and its there. For example, the facebook app does not show an icon and I cannot find it even in a "universal search". Yet when I go to application managament, it says its properly installed. I recently did a full wipe on the device including 3rd party apps and still it does the same thing.

I had tried it by is not work. I try to do factory reset.It works but will delete all my data excluding application.
