i have a BB torch 9800.I tried to update my app world to 4.0.0.63. i got the link to my email i clicked on it , went to the download site, selected the language i clicked on the download button and.....a message pop up appear and says "! donwload failed.".details of the error are 907 invalid COD A network error occurred.Last, after this process, my previous version of app world has been uninstalled .

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got a problem in my trackpad, my trackpad doesn't work totally, I try to restore my old back up and it works again then suddenly when I update my bb app world it my trackpad doesn't work again, I try to delete applications that I think that may causes malfunctioning or freezing my trackpad, then, I totally wipe out my bb, but the problem is still the same, trackpad doesn't work, I am using OS6, I don't know whats the cause of this problem, I try to put my backup files again and trackpad doesn't work anymore when i wipe my bb.

View 12 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 3GS is set to change time automatically with the Daylight Savings change. That worked as the phone time itself is correct, but the times for the different places in the built-in World Clock app are still off by an hour (they are on the old time). This is also true of my husband's iPhone 3G. Strangely, I have an iPod touch that adjusted both its system time and the World Clock times without difficulty.
I have tried syncing the phone, toggling on/off the update time automatically, and rebooting, but the time is still incorrect. If I try adding a new place, it will also have the wrong time.
There may also be an issue with other apps - the ESPN app had the start time of a game today off by an hour as well.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this?
Edit: To clarify, the times are wrong for US cities that do observe DST, such as New York, Chicago, etc.
I am trying to install an update to an app from appworld and I keep having the old version installed not the new one. How do I work around this. BTW this is a paid app. and the people who got it from crackberry are not having any trouble.

I've done a update in my app would and when I went back on to 'bbm' it's saying ' cannot set up BBM, A temporary BBM server error has occurred' I've got wifi connected but its n still not working, bbm is still working since I'm getting messages to my phone but I can't see it since the screen is coming up saying its not connecting.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have updated my Torch 9810 to the new Telus 7.1 OS and it renders it unusable. I have tried reinstalling the OS several times, to no avail. It did that once with 7.0 and I reinstalled it and it worked great. I also tried to use app loader and I couldn't launch it, it said the file exists already and it stopped. I want the 7.1 features, but it seems to kill my 9810. The screen is semi functional for about 30 seconds with glitches then it freezes the screen and I can only use the cursor and the key board to do anything. I down graded back to 7.0 and now it works fine.

Yesterday somehow, I can't log in to my app. I've changed my password 2 times but still didn't work. So, I changed (already installed) 3.0.1.27 app world to 3.0.2.9 app world. I delete my ID and made a new account with the same email ID but it didn't work. The new app world even run slower than the previous one. View 1 Replies View RelatedJust update my phone to 7.1 os, after the update when it restarted my phone just froze into white screen and not functional anymore. Tried taking out battery, sim, media card and put them one by one and still doing the same thing. I noticed when it turn on before it goes to white screen, a message saying "linking java" for a quick second then goes back to white screen for a long period of time and i can't use it anymore. i already contacted my service provider about this and they're taking so long to respond to me. View 4 Replies View RelatedThe problem started when I updated my os 7 on my torch 9810 to the newer version. When I went to update my apps I signed in just fine. A few weeks later I tried to download a new app but the app world would say that their was a problem with the current session and to login to continue but the login screen doesn't come up. I can sign in via my phone browser and everything but it doesn't show me the apps that I have installed or unistalled.
I search online for ways to rectify this problem I even wiped my phone but when I went I updated the os again the same thing happened again. So now I'm just desperate can I fix this problem or do I need to buy a new phone?
