I have the Blackberry Torch 9800 and and when I try and open App world, it doesn't do anything. It used to open but yesterday and today it won't open. I tried re installing it, deleting it then installing it again and it still won't do anything.
View 1 RepliesI have tried deleting and reinstalling with reboots and battery pulls. I have tried clearing the cache. The icon is there, but nothing happens when I click on it. It worked fine until I downloaded the update that came out last week!

View 4 Replies View Relatedi have been using bb app world and other apps since the time i started bb few years back. but few months back the bb app world and some other apps stooped working. the bb app world doesnt appear anywhere in the bb despite complete successful installation. the other apps dont open. instead i get a pop up message which says 'error starting' or 'error loading' or 'verify error'. even the upgraded version of any app if installed anytime from the time problem started doesn't open.can anyone tell me what exactly is the problem with my bb as it was working well few months back. how do i rectify this so that i can once again start using the bb app world as well as start using some of the apps that are not opening now.

I believe that it has been stopped behind some firewall, as when I try to open it from wireless network I can open it smoothly but only when I try to open it from my blackberry service it cud'nt open.I had no prb with my previous version when it was working on my phn smoothly but only it was a latset update I updated and it had this problem.

Yesterday somehow, I can't log in to my app. I've changed my password 2 times but still didn't work. So, I changed (already installed) 3.0.1.27 app world to 3.0.2.9 app world. I delete my ID and made a new account with the same email ID but it didn't work. The new app world even run slower than the previous one. View 4 Replies View RelatedThe problem started when I updated my os 7 on my torch 9810 to the newer version. When I went to update my apps I signed in just fine. A few weeks later I tried to download a new app but the app world would say that their was a problem with the current session and to login to continue but the login screen doesn't come up. I can sign in via my phone browser and everything but it doesn't show me the apps that I have installed or unistalled.
I search online for ways to rectify this problem I even wiped my phone but when I went I updated the os again the same thing happened again. So now I'm just desperate can I fix this problem or do I need to buy a new phone?

For additional info, this is my fifth BlackBerry and this is also first time i encounter this problem as when i switch to new BlackBerry, there is no such problem as i using the Blackberry desktop to update and transfer all the old data to new data, now the blackberry protect keep popping up and request me to log in, however everytime i log in the message unable to log into your BlackBerry ID account appear and unable to proceed. I have log into Blackberry via email (laptop) there is no problem.
