I did the app world update and now my applications are not showing. I do see them still installed when I connect to the PC Desktop Software. How do I access my programs now?

i purchased the curve 9360 3 days ago and the problem is i can't access the programs such as facebook or app world via wifi but when i requested for bb service it worked but withought the service it won't work!

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm using Nokia E7 and I've done a complete reset of my phone but since this reset, Ovi Store doesn't know which programs are installed. It keeps telling me that certain programs are installed while they are not or if I want to reinstall them, I get a system error. One that I really want to have fixed is fMobi but I got to my total amount of downloads and I can still not get it back installed onto my phone. Is it possible to clear my download history in the Ovi Store or what else can be done to be able to install these programs again?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got a problem in my trackpad, my trackpad doesn't work totally, I try to restore my old back up and it works again then suddenly when I update my bb app world it my trackpad doesn't work again, I try to delete applications that I think that may causes malfunctioning or freezing my trackpad, then, I totally wipe out my bb, but the problem is still the same, trackpad doesn't work, I am using OS6, I don't know whats the cause of this problem, I try to put my backup files again and trackpad doesn't work anymore when i wipe my bb.

My problem is that I can't find the FB icon anywhere. I've googled this and tried all the solutions (restart phone, remove battery, change theme, show all applications) but to no avail. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Curve 9300 and recently upgraded to version 3.1.0.58 app world then after a few days the icon disappeared. I tried to download from the blackberry website but I kept having a message that too many tabs were open (there wasnt) and that the browser needed cleaning (or words to that effect...I think!). I have since received an email from blackberry stating that there was an error with that version and to download version 3.1.0.56 - I cannot download that either. I have tried by connecting to my laptop and downloading from the blackberry site, it states that I cannot download from there and to use the mobile web. I still cannot download from there either. I do have updated software on my curve as it crashed about 3 months ago when removing an app.

Originally I moved everything onto my new phone by using desktop manager but there seemed to be a problem with constant rebooting because it didnt like some of the third party apps. I restored the phone to the original settings but although I have Appworld and Bridge in my list of applications there is no icon for them - i have checked by Show All and they are not there. Both showed as icons on my 8520 and worked fine (I have a playbook too which is why I need the Bridge).

I recently noticed that my Blackberry App World icon was missing from my home screen. I drilled into each of the sub folders, selecting 'show all' for each, and still could not find the icon. I attempted to re-download the app from the blackberry website using my browser, but was informed that I already had the application on my device. I then attempted to replace the existing version, and still no icon.I then decided to navigate to the application center and remove the app world application. I then navigated back to my browser (cleared the cache) and attempted to download the app. I received a 'download failed' notification, with the details of 'Invalid COD error 907' message (or something to that affect).
Specs:
Device: Curve 9300
Carrier: Vodaphone UK
OS: 6.0 Bundle (v6.0.0.448, platform 6.6.0.124)
App world: v2.1.1.19 (i think)
After installing OS6 on my Blackberry 9300 the icon for Blackberry App World has disappeared. App World is installed in the application list but the icon does not appear on the Home screen even after the show all command.

A while back I updated my phone. So I backed up and restored my applications so I didn't lose the few I paid for. The other day I got a notification for an update for one of the applications I downloaded after the update. That got me thinking - since none of my other apps are in the "My World" section of the App World, I haven't been - and won't be - getting any updates for those applications. Is there any way I can add those applications to "My World" so I can get notifications for updates and stuff?
I have just performed a firmware update and have downloaded and installed all other SW updates available, however although it has downloaded Ovi Maps 3.3 will not install.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI updated my husband's iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1 just now, and a huge chunk of his photos are missing. I believe the last time this phone was synced with any library, it was his library on his old computer. So, of our two computers, neither would have been a good choice for updating, since neither could be considered the original one it was synced with. My question is this: when iTunes updates software, it backs up and restores first, so why were all of his photos not backed up and restored during this process? He had about 500-600 photos and now he only has 241. Also his playlists are gone, music was gone, a bunch of stuff is now gone. I had to put some of it back manually. Needless to say I am in a bunch of trouble for this - I have been bugging him for months to update his phone so we could iMessage each other.
