I recently updated to belle on my c7 and im missing large analogue clock widget also there is no weather widget or different sized music widget, is there anywhere i can download these widgets cause i cant find them on the nokia store either, so much for 5 different sized widget options ha
View 1 RepliesI currently own a Nokia C7 and recently upgraded to Belle (which is fantastic) and as such Nokia Maps 3.08 was also installed.The map upgrade did not come with any homescreen widgets, and I have seen videos/screenshots of phones with a 'my position' type map widget (which fills half a homescreen) and a 'weather' widget (a bar type widget which when clicked is cleary the nokia maps weather app).how to get hold of them as I cannot find them on the Nokia store?

View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter installing the Symbian Belle latest updates on these phones, most of the Widgets lost their colors. Now most of them are only in white. (I have 2 of these for the moment)Although it does not had an impact on the functionality, it sure would look much better if the Icons / widgets are getting their colors back as in the Anna version.

Put my phone onto charge last night with phone turned off. Don't normally do that but kept getting FB notifications. Turned phone on this morning and noticed several widgets missing from my home screen. There are gaps where widgets were but now they are missing. They are still on the phone as they're visible on the other screen where all my apps are.
According to Nokia's user guide for the C6-01, I should be able to press and hold on the home screen for the Add shortcut option to appear. It doesn't. Instead I am given the option to only add widgets. Can some please tell me how I can add apps to the home screen, or at least transfer them from another screen

I able to hide that number (icon) on display that doesnt show me what line i use e.g 1 or 2.I didnt have this issue on Anna it appears now when i updated to Belle.So can someone tell me can i hide it or turn off that doesnt show me "what line i use" and its appears when i call someone or someone call me "name of caller and Line 1"

View 1 Replies View Relatedafter I updated to belle FP1 from the phone itself (sw update) the contacts do not work, the list is dislpayed but if I choose a contact a black screen appears and contacts program crashes.I did the following:Hard reset the phone by turning off then pressing the home+volumedown+camera+ON buttons, but did not help. (this step made me lose all ovi apps such as maps, store,...etc)Connected the phone to OVI suite and made a software re-install but also wasn't helpful still the contacts do not work and lost the most important apps.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI updated my husband's iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1 just now, and a huge chunk of his photos are missing. I believe the last time this phone was synced with any library, it was his library on his old computer. So, of our two computers, neither would have been a good choice for updating, since neither could be considered the original one it was synced with. My question is this: when iTunes updates software, it backs up and restores first, so why were all of his photos not backed up and restored during this process? He had about 500-600 photos and now he only has 241. Also his playlists are gone, music was gone, a bunch of stuff is now gone. I had to put some of it back manually. Needless to say I am in a bunch of trouble for this - I have been bugging him for months to update his phone so we could iMessage each other.

After an upgrade with Belle, it is impossible to get WiFi to work : Although the roaming finds my WLAN, and after introducing the exact WEP key, I allways get a WiFi not found error. I allready tried all the tricks mentionned in different posts over here, without succes.
View 9 Replies View RelatedUntil I updated my C6-01 to Belle, I was satisfied with the quality of the photos, given the known restrictions of the fixed focus lenses.
After Belle update, I have this impression that almost every photo I take is out of focus. I allways use the virtual button on the camera app to shoot photos, and not the physical button on the right side of the phone. I have not dropped my phone on the ground or something. I allways take good care of the phone.
What do you C6-01 owners think of that?
A notice that each day a new folder is created on the C: drive of my C6-01 Belle. The name of those folders are dates, on the format YYYYMMDD, e.g. 20120410. The files on those folders have names such as ##-##.##_SearchServer.txt. Those are text files which seam to contain a log file.
This whole thing is quite inconvenient, since normally the mentioned folders have 6 to 9 MBytes. Every week or so I have to manually delete the folders, in order to gain space on my C: drive. If I don't do so, the space on the C: drive can shrink in a few weeks from the normal 190 MB to 20 Mb or so.
What the heck is this? Isn't Belle supposed to be a user friendly system? A system is not supposed to keep creating folders every day and leaving them behind as garbage. A 'normal' user would never have the idea (or the courage) to keep deleting system folders every week or so in order to gain space on the system drive!
I did the Anna update on my Astound, From information gathered on some forums, it did not install right. It has issues that it did not have before. Since Belle looks to be released in February, I am guessing that a phone not working correctly after Anna, probably should not take a chance on Belle?, In other words, An Anna update did not install correctly, there is no option to reinstall. That would make it very probable that Belle would not be able to correct that? or install itself properly? Doesn't a later update require a previous update to install correctly? I have been told that only Nokia can reflash my phone back to original, I live in the US, it looks like that would be unable to accomplish. I would have to buy another phone just to have this one shipped off.
