View 2 Repliesi have a BB torch 9800.I tried to update my app world to 4.0.0.63. i got the link to my email i clicked on it , went to the download site, selected the language i clicked on the download button and.....a message pop up appear and says "! donwload failed.".details of the error are 907 invalid COD A network error occurred.Last, after this process, my previous version of app world has been uninstalled .

I have received messages stating a couple apps including App World have updates ready to download.I tap on the link to update App World, Im greeted with the There is a newer version available 3.0.0.xx Tapping update gives me the green circle working prompt with a network activity icon, then disappears and nothing happens. Checking the App status, app world is listed as version 2.x.x, so clearly it is not updating. The device is logged into the BB account, and the terms and conditions has been accepted.I have tried downloading the app world update, and also facebook and BBM updates, on both my wireless carrier network and my home WiFi, with the same green working circle, and then nothing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedLast week I purchased the new Torch 9810, a couple of days of use the trackpad started malfunctioning and well...for the first time in many years I received a defective device, yesterday I managed to change it for a new one without any problems.
As soon as I got home, I did the device switch operation with my BB desktop software without any problems too, but today I noticed something was diferent, I don't have or find anywhere in my phone the OS 7 digital compass. I know it's no big deal, but it was a nice app and would really like to install it on my new BB. I have surfed among the web and apps world and all I find are compasses for purchase, and it came free in this BB device.

Last week I did a device software update, I am currently running OS 6.0, Bundle 2949. First of all, my Twitter and Facebook Apps were downgraded to versions from when I was still using my BB Bold. More annoyingly, I lost some languages on my device. I had Spanish, French, Italian, German, English and Dutch. Since the update I have Russian, Greek, Dutch and English (US and UK), but I cannot add or delete any of these through desktop manager.
I tried deleting and adding in the same update sequence. I tried deleting only, then I tried adding only, and every time I get an error saying the action (or update) "could not be validated due to unsatisfied dependencies." So then I tried deleting a regular app, thinking maybe there was an "unsatisfied dependency" in an app. Same error, and nothing happened. And the same again with a different app.
I've recently updated my Blackberry to Verions 6.0 but I now can't view my downloads on the Blackberry Apps world as I keep getting the same message - We cannot connect you to Blackberry App World. Plase ensure that your device is connected to the wireless network and try again. I am connected to the wireless interenet as have checked this numerous times so totally confused and totally frustrated

This way I could plug in my new phone and do a backup restore to get all the apps, contacts, music etc on my new phone. However, within the past two months I have purchased quite a bit of music on my phone through itunes. Since then I had not synced my phone to itunes so I did that yesterday when restoring it. When I plugged in the 4S and did the backup restore, I do not have the songs that I have purchased within the past two months on my phone or in my itunes account. How do I get these back?

A while back I updated my phone. So I backed up and restored my applications so I didn't lose the few I paid for. The other day I got a notification for an update for one of the applications I downloaded after the update. That got me thinking - since none of my other apps are in the "My World" section of the App World, I haven't been - and won't be - getting any updates for those applications. Is there any way I can add those applications to "My World" so I can get notifications for updates and stuff?

My App library is extensive and has gone through a number of spring cleanings.. recently, with my new iPhone 4, I'm remembering apps that for whatever reason, I don't have anymore and wanting to try them out on my new, speedier iPhone 4.I can find them in iTunes, but I'm prompted to buy them again, and confirm the purchase before it says "You've already purchased this, download for free?"
Why can't I (or can I?) just view my iTunes purchase history? I've held off on re-downloading a couple apps that I suspect could actually be sequels or "pro" versions of apps that I have already bought. Is there a purchase history somewhere I can pull up that I'm missing?
I have recently bought an iPhone, and I have also got an iPad. Was just wondering if I will need to buy apps again on iPhone even I have bought them on iPad.
