Dec 13, 2011How do you uninstall blackberry messenger? It won't uninstall the usual ways and a bunch of methods I googled don't work either.

BB Torch 9800 :: How To Delete Messenger?
Aug 22, 2010On all other blackberrys I have messed with I was able to delete blackberry messenger just like any other application. On this torch though, I have tried to delete it from the phones application list, from the desktop manager and have tried to delete it during a device software upgrade.In none of these situations was I able to remove it, the option is always greyed out. How can I delete blackberry messenger on my torch?

Apr 6, 2012I've been using yahoo messenger on my blackberry torch 9800 since June 2011 and so far have not encountered problem. But yesterday I had difficulty logging in to my ym account. It would say invalid username or password. But after several attempts I managed to log in. However today I can no longer log in. I tried logging in to my iPad and laptop and I can. But if I would log in at my blackberry I cannot access. Invalid username and password was always the answer. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it again and again but to no avail. I also downloaded yahoo messenger using blackberry browser and it's also no use. I also tried changing the password on the laptop but it did not work either.

Jan 31, 2011Not being familiar with BBM, I recently added it to my phone with no security options turned on. Friday I received a ton of requests (from unknown people) to add mine to their contact lists, which I declined. They each were removed from my message list when I declined them. However, one of the messages will not go away. I have clicked "decline" and have attempted to delete the message, neither of which has had any effect.
I have since blocked incoming PIN messages in my firewall with exceptions of "Contacts" and "Specific Addresses".

Jun 14, 2011I am able to sign into my yahoo messenger and it will typically send and receive messages right away after sign in, but then messenger will stop sending or receiving messages even though I am signed in. How can I fix this or is it a issue with all blackberrys because this has happened on the both of the blackberry curves that I have used. I use messenger with some of my family from Canada and then it uses my data. If I texted them it is international texting and therefore costs per text.
