BB Torch :: No Longer Find The Enterprise Messenger Icon?
Aug 7, 2011
I just upgraded to the BlackBerry Torch for work. Enterprise activationi was successful on Friday and was able to access email and Enterprise Messenger. The next day, I could no longer find the Enterprise Messenger Icon. I've looked in every folder and it's nowhere to be found. When I go into Options it is listed in Application Manager and a button to delete
I've had my BlackBerry Bold 9700 for more than 3 months.Lately, the icon's been getting stuck on my Main Screen. So, I always ended up uninstalling and reinstalling, and the problem would always get fixed
But last time I did that, my BlackBerry Messenger disappeared I tried everything!
I looked through every single folder, ticked Show All, but nothing I also went to Explore, showed hidden files, there was nothing I tried rebooting, deleting and reinstalling, also nothing I also went on Desktop Manager, checked the Application Loader, and it's there, it's ticked I checked Options > Applications > Add-on, and I can see that the BlackBerry Messenger is installed (Research In Motion Limited, version 5.0.1.38) My Device Software is updated, and when I check for updates, it says no updates available I tried Security Wipe, but it's still not there I tried to backup and restore as well, but nothing's changed What am I missing?Do I have to downgrade?
I have lost my BB messenger after backup and updating my Torch handset. The current version I have seems to be difficult to ascertain. I am also unable to go and update via the Appworld because it is showing as if I already have the current version. Meanwhile people can send me messages but I am unable to get any on my set.
I got a BB Torch, i tried to set up the email by following the demo online, but there is no personal email setting on there just work email, and i tried to set up my email as enterprise account, it showed activation request failed.
I have a torch 9800 and had upgraded Os to 6.0.. I live in Virginia and use AT&T Wireless. I would get an error loading the program after reinstalling it. I had read about this issue and I decided not to worry about it and went on without those programs.Now..Today i no longer have app world? I uninstalled and reinstalled many times.Read many forums and even wiped the phone and reinstalled.still no app world. I do need assistance, as I had programs (installed thorugh app world) and would like to reinstall them.I currently have The Blackberry Torch 9800 3g, WiFi with the 6.0 Bundle 2647 (v6.0.0.600, Platform 6.6.0.223)
Blackberry messenger is installed on my Torch-9800 but I cant find the icon anywhere on my phone. It all started after i sent a broadcast message with the messenger application and my phone started hanging. I had to remove the battery before I was able to do anything on the phone but my blackberry messenger has disappeared since then.
Just out of the box but I cannot seem to find the ICON or this option (Enterprise Activation) under advanced options. A coworker did do a few things and I think activated the Blackberry email but I need access to corporate email and have the password for the blackberry server.
I noticed that my blackberry messenger notification at my home screen no longer indicates how many new messages I have. I've recently updated my BBM. I tried to reboot it twice but it's still the same and my friends are not experiecing this.
i picked up my phone to find a enterprise activation icon had appeared on my menu, I hadnt performed a reset or even turned it off, when i select the icon it is a white screen that appears..what is this and how has it just appeared? my phone seems to working as normal just now, what should i do with it?
I woke up this morning and had an "Enterprise Activation" icon on my screen. I didn't download it, so I have no idea how it got there (it was a rectangle or folder with a green arrow on it). When I clicked on it it went to a white screen and said "Encryption Regeneration" but didn't seem to do anything else. I looked for a delete option for the icon, but there was none on the list. I went to the Blackberry App World and couldn't find anything that suggested I had downloaded it, but when I browsed online I found an article that said you can download this whatever-it-is from Blackberry. I also had some upgrades that needed doing, so I upgraded Twitter, Yahoo, Google and MSN apps and rebooted. After reboot the new icon has disappeared. Could this have happened spontaneously for some reason? Or have I been hacked?
I have somehow lost the icon for "contacts". My contacts are still there, I can find them by searching but don't have an icon on my home page (or anywhere else) to click on to add new contacts or find old ones. Can anyone advise what I've done? I've tried synching with my laptop but that hasn't brought the icon back, and I've powered off. I backed up to the cloud earlier but am a bit bothered about trying a full restore! Besides, the contacts icon was missing when I last backed up, so it probably wouldn't come back anyway!
My BB was purchased in Korea and linked to my company system. On leaving the company I was allowed to keep the phone but it still shows Korea and I cannot sync my personal emails. I have been to O2 but they seem not be able to help. I can access emails through the web. I also have my address book showing Desktop as well as personal.
I've got the Blackberry Internet Service and the right information by my company for the activation. Now I want to activate the enterprise service but it failed. I've seen a video how to do this: [URL].
Setup-> Emails accounts: Video showing two options: normal Mail account and company mail account.
In my system there's not such a thing. I can choose between google & co. or type an own one. Doing this I fail! I think that the right option is missing. How can I activate the enterprise service?
I have installed my personal Yahoo Mail on my 9810 Torch; as a result, the Contacts list now includes a mix of work and personal when first pulled up. I can then change it to display only one of my contacts lists (work or personal), but that requires several thumb fiddles every time. Is there a way to have the Contacts display default to only my work contacts displayed upon opening?
I just bought a Blackberry Torch but have been unable to set up my corporate email using Enterprise Activation. I have the password from my IT group and have also reset the device. I keep getting an error that the Blackberry is unable to connect the server.
had to re-sync my phone with the BB Enterprise server, I inadvertantly entered the wrong password and there was no way I that could find to re-set and try again. Does anyone know how I can go about re-activating / syncing with the BB server? My service provider, loacl shop/dea;er were great, it was the business/coporate end that was/did not want to help.
I bought a Blackberry Torch 9800 from a reseller and tried to setup email but the only option available is Enterprise. THe carrier, O2, can't help. How do I get all the email setup options back? The Torch was to replace a Bold stolen the day before. It was PIN protected but not backed up, nor did it have recovery or tracking software. Is there a way to trace it if it used again?
