I have a white envelope icon with a blackberry symbol in the middle of it and a new message red star icon on the top right corner of it on my home screen. This icon does not seem to go even though I have updated everything. I tried goggling what this icon means but to no success.

But still, it be erase. the number increase sometimes especially when new ssm is received. but it will not decrease even when I delete some sms.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI misplaced my phone and the battery drained down to zero and shut itself off. I plugged it into charge about an hour ago (into a wall, not a computer). A red light came on for about thirty seconds and then shut off. The battery charging icon that is supposed to appear hasn't. I unplugged it and tried again a minute ago, and its the same thing. It doesn't turn on or show any sign of being responsive exept for that thirty seconds of solid red light.

It also has a red circle with a white star indicating there is a new message or something. When I click on the status bar it brings up all the other indicated messages or calls in the list but there is no list to correspond with this icon. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a BB Curve 8530 and I have an icon on my home screen that I cannot figure out. It looks similar to the icon used for missed call or placed call except it has a curved arrow next to it. It is a gold phone receiver and the arrow is bent at a 45 degree angle. (kind of like a backwards check mark with an arrow head on the bottom). I have a suspicion that it has to do with call forwarding since I forwarded calls to a different phone # the other day, however, I cancelled that. I have checked my messages folder, rebooted, pulled battery, done an update, etc. Nothing works.

Apologies for the appalling mock-up but it seemed a good way of trying to describe it. It's a grey square with a phone receiver flashing green and yellow in the middle. There also appears to be a letter D to the bottom right hand corner.URL... and URL...It's very odd, flashes for a few seconds and then disappears.
