I have a Torch 9810. I had my email account set up on it and I've never had any problems. Today, I realised I hadn't been receiving emails. So I checked the settings in setup and couldn't find anything amiss. I've tried the usual stuff - sending service books, host routing table registration, numerous battery pulls and restarts, and deleting/re-adding my email account. None of it has worked.
The only thing that happens when I am trying to activate the email address is it says "contacting server....retrying..." and doesn't do anything else.
Is there something I can do? It's driving me mad not being able to sort it out
Since I have installed this last OS ipgrade on BB TORCH, (6.0 offer 1907), I cannot access anymore the mail set up. Clicking on the icon bring me sometimes to the choice for personnal email or enterprise and when I click on personal, I come back to the menu. Sometimes I canot even go to thi screen and I stay at the menu level.
I have my emails set up correctly for the blackberry web site, and I sent the service book to my mobile. I get emails working correctly.
Not sure if the debt ceiling crisis is somehow linked to my Torch, but suddenly no incoming or outgoing email. Texting, phone and other things seem to work fine.
For the last 2 days I have been trying to figure out why I cannot email a picture anymore. The option SEND after opening the email option is gone. In the email window the email is also on DEFAULT and no email recipients start showing when i type the name of the recipient in TO.What is the problem here? I can send a picture from BBM, I can reply email messages.
My device does not boot. 70% of the load I have a white screen with writing:Reload software Error 102With the only references that I can reset each time the same screen.I have already removed the battery, sim card and memory card even do nothing.
Can someone help me to put out the green LED indicator on top of my phone.Nothing helps me to put it out. Things I have done to solve this irritating issue:
- Hard reboot (remove battery and put phone on again). - Soft reboot (log off and on again. - Restore factory settings. - Go to Options>Screen>LED indicator from on to off.
What else can I do to get rid of this irritating light? It just never goes out and now I cannot see any new incoming messages or phone calls (a red LED indicator should appear, but this is not the case anymore).
I cannot instal applications anymore and even if I try and apparently my Torch 9800 downloads them, I cannot see the icon (and the app) on my desktop... Moreover my bb app world disappeared from by desktop.
I have the Black Berry Torch... The phone is the best and working great. But this morning it decides that I cannot use the slide keypad anymore. Only can make use of the touch screen keypad.
I tried with both the standard email (error message could not download attachment) app and Nine (progress bar stops) it's not working anymore. I have deleted and re-installed Nine, deleted the email account and added it again, changed the email download size to all, countless restarts, unmount / mount SD card - nothing worked so far.
For some reason my 9800 Torch will no longer Sync with my Desktop Software. I deleted the program and reinstalled on my computer but got the same messages. What am I doing wrong?
I cannot remove songs that I do not want there anymore when in a playlist there is only an option to delete but when I do this it wipes the song completely off my phone?
I used to received emails in my phone. However, I formatted my phone and then I couldn't access my email by my phone any more. I tried to setup my Emails account by deleting the old address and add new one, but when I select the address and go to menu, it doesn't show (delete)....
My Desktop Manager and Torch were working beautifully together until a week or two ago. Now it will connect and says it's synching, but nothing gets transfered. When I try to close out the Desktop Manager, it shows that it is disconnecting, then just hangs there, and I have to use CTRL ALT DEL to close the program. I NEED the data on my BB and I am worried that it hasn't updated or synched properly in over a week.
All of a sudden! The network tab on the home screen doesn't show anymore, I tried doing everything, I reset all the settings, tried removing the battery and so, I played with all the settings. And still no conclusion!
For some reason i don't have the option to "send" email anymore. I can compose them but the "send" option is gone. Does anyone know how to get this back or what has happened.
My contacts don't appear anymore when I write an e-mail. I used to get them directly when I was typing the first letters of the required contact, but I don't know why it doesn't work anymore.I couldn't find any way to get back to the initial configuration on the options of e-mail topic. The only thing I could find is to attach a contact.
Using a Samsung Galaxy S5 on Rogers, Lollipop.Started with the cursor jumping around randomly when I would type an email. Read a fix to turn off predictive text so I have to do that now just to use the email app. Now, I can't even type in the body of an email. If I create a new email, it prompts for the recipient, which I enter fine. Then it lets me select the subject field but it will not go into the body of the email when I touch it to begin typing my email. I've tried changing keyboards, minimizing the keyboard - nothing. This happens about 95% of the time.
Some time ago I received a notification stating that I needed to verify my password to continue receive emails from my Hotmail account. The instruction stated that I needed to launch the Setup Wizard and click on the Email Accounts icon and then select the "Internet mail Account" icon to verify my password. I follow the instructions but, when I click on the "Internet mail Account" icon nothing happens and my only available option is "return to Setup".
I have a 9800 black berry device that I bought from Saudi Arabia. This device doesn't work any more and without any previous problems with it. So, I want to know from where I can fix my phone and how much that will cost me? By the way, I am a student in Waterloo city, so I assume that it will be much easier to solve my problem soon.
My torch 9860 doesn't boot completely anymore and for that reason, I haven't been able to use it for a long time now. The booting bar loads and gets to somewhere near the end and hooks there after which it never moves again! I've left it booting for over a day and it still didn't boot! I've reloaded the OS severally, even done a downgrade to 7.0 but still, no success.
I have a Blackberry Torch 9810.I used to be able to BBM before, but for some reason I can't send or receive any messages via BBM.This has gone on for a while. My BBM contacts live in my country and I was able to BBM them all the time before. I don't know why I can't now.
I am a blackberry developer working on a recording software. Just did an OS upgrade on my 9800 when I saw an upgrade alert on BlackBerry Desktop Software. The OS after upgrade is 6.0 bundle 2342 (v6.0.0.526 platform 6.6.0.195)Now when I run my application to do the voice record (WAV format, not AMR ), I keep getting an error "Requested bitrate is not supported", I tried different bitrate (8000,16000, 44100, 48000....), none of them supported.I used to use bitrate=8000 for recording and it worked, but now it throw above exception.I even change encoding bit from 16 to 8bit, channel from 1 to 2, didn't work.
My phone, web browser , text, Facebook all are working. My email did for the first month with O2, but suddenly my ability to get emails has stopped. when I try to set up the email i get an errori that my device is not registered with Blackberry. Even when I go through the steps to register it, including getting a confirmation from Blackberry that I have registered , it still does not work. When i attempt to set up email again I get the same response to register my Blackberry.
