How do I get the screen to turn back on when I am making a call? I dont know how this happened. I didnt drop my phone or anything and now when making a call the screen turns off. I tapped the screeen and tilted the phone and it still didnt turn on. I am unable to put call on speakerphone or select any other options.
View 4 RepliesMy Iphone (white) turns on then off then on then off then on then off! Finaly when I eventually get to the lock screen it says: conect to power but I charged it last night and the percent bar (top right) says 100% . Now it says to charge with itunes? What am I supposed to do!

When i dial the number and then as soon as i press the call button, the screen all sudden goes black. I mean the call is still in progress you can hear it but you can't see anything on the screen. For example, i had to turn the speaker on for the conference, but i couldn't do it because i was not able to see where anything were at.

I tried reboot phone, factory default, no screen protector; changing sim card in the phone gave the same problem. As soon as I hit the dial button screen is black.
View 16 Replies View RelatedIf I make a call as soon as I press to dial the screen goes black and I can't reactivate it unless the person in the other end hangs up, so if it goes to voice mail I have to restart my device, if the person hangs up I have to double tap the power button to wake it up but that activates the camera, that's the only way I'm able to do it.

The screen turns off when making a phone call. it wasn't doing that before and i have not changed anything. I did what you suggested (turning off the auto adjust screen tone), but that made no difference and still doing that.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy wife's D3 locks immediately after starting a call. She has to hit the power/sleep button to wake it up to end the call. Anyone know how to stop this? She says she has not changed any settings and my D3 has never done this. Don't see any new apps installed and the phone has been rebooted.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSometimes when I turn the screen off on My Bionic, it immediately comes right back on.Now, it doesn't happen every time and I can't repeat the problem on demand.Seems as though it has a mind of its own.I don't believe it is a bad app causing the problem either.The phone has been doing this on and off since I activated it yesterday.Not sure why it does this, but I wanted MOTO to be aware of this issue.I'm not sure if it is a hardware or software problem, but it didn't go away after a battery pull and reboot.

Notification light issue unchanged, Couldn't test battery as it went back to repair after one day only.Got a new one 2 weeks later (i.e. today): #3 (made in China):first of all I upgraded to OS V22. Needless to say notification light didn't change. Besides:- battery cover wobbly, a fraction of a millimeter too short. Chinese quality issue?- bluetooth doesn't work properly. A connected and authorized headset (that worked well on the previous 2 E6s, an X7, an E72, a Blackberry etc.) doesn't connect when being turned on. Have to connect manually when wanting to make call.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just got my new Captivate and it is a very nice phone. I have one issue with it and wanted to know if it is normal or do I have a defective phone. No matter where i am and what type of light I am in (i.e sunlight,darkness etc) the back light for the 4 buttons below the screen (Home, Menu,Search and back) turns off after about 2-3 seconds which is very quickly. It comes back on if I touch the buttons or if I touch the screen. I see a backlight timer for the screen but not for the touch sensitive buttons. Is it normal that the backlight for the buttons goes out in 2-3 seconds? Of do I have a defect?
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy phone used to keep a charge for THREE days...it was wonderful! Now since the update, I have to charge it every day even if it's just standby. Plus, if I'm on a call with the screen turned off, when an incoming call comes in, I am unable to turn the screen back on in order to answer. Plus, sometimes the phone is so sensitive that when the face is pressed up against it, it goes haywire and cancels out a call. The sensitivity is way too high. I am using Straight Talk as my provider so is there a way, I can remove all the AT&T stuff? And which ones do I not need? I don't like a lot of bloatware on my phone.

I have a bb torch 9800, when I make or receive calls my backlight turns off and my screen is blank until I end call, I cannot even use call waiting, speakerphone, etc b'cuz of this issue.

Even if I have the screen lock on or the phone completely locked, the home screen keeps popping up. It does stay off if I insert it into a Blackberry belt holster, so as long as I leave it there, it's fine, but I want to take it out and not have the battery drain so quickly.
The only way I can ensure the screen is off when not in the holster is to power off, but I need my phone to be on 24/7 for business.

View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen making or receiving a call, the caller or the person I am calling cannot hear me. If I turn on speaker, they can hear me. This is a new iPhone 4, I traded in my 1 year old iPhone 4, because it also was having this issue, & the apple store staff could not fix it.
I have tried turning on/off, plugging in ear buds and unplugging them, cause I heard that could help, & syncing the phone. Nothing has worked yet that I have tried.
