my x8 keeps turning the screen off when i make a call, and does not turn on for at least 2 minute, meanwhile the call is still on, and can be recording voicemail etc without me knowing because the screen will not turn back on!

I have Sony Expedia Z2, since yesterday any time when making a phone call the screen is switching off and there is no way to switch it back on until call is over which may be an issue when connect to answering machine and want to disconnect. Even a power button seems to be not responsive. So when calling I have absolutely no control over my phone. How to fix it and is it another bug in Lolipop the biggest catastrophy since Windows?

I mean the call is still in progress you can hear it but you can't see anything on the screen. For example, i had to turn the speaker on for the conference, but i couldn't do it because i was not able to see where anything were at.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIf I make a call as soon as I press to dial the screen goes black and I can't reactivate it unless the person in the other end hangs up, so if it goes to voice mail I have to restart my device, if the person hangs up I have to double tap the power button to wake it up but that activates the camera, that's the only way I'm able to do it.

The screen turns off when making a phone call. it wasn't doing that before and i have not changed anything. I did what you suggested (turning off the auto adjust screen tone), but that made no difference and still doing that.

She says she has not changed any settings and my D3 has never done this. Don't see any new apps installed and the phone has been rebooted.

View 4 Replies View RelatedE6 #1 (made in Finland): had to bring it to repair service because of pathetic battery lifetime and no notification light.Got a new one 2 weeks later:6 #2 (made in Hungary): had to bring it to repair service, as the screen blanked out when making or receiving a call (proximity sensor broken?). Notification light issue unchanged, Couldn't test battery as it went back to repair after one day only.Got a new one 2 weeks later (i.e. today): #3 (made in China):first of all I upgraded to OS V22. Needless to say notification light didn't change. Besides:- battery cover wobbly, a fraction of a millimeter too short. Chinese quality issue?- bluetooth doesn't work properly. A connected and authorized headset (that worked well on the previous 2 E6s, an X7, an E72, a Blackberry etc.) doesn't connect when being turned on. Have to connect manually when wanting to make call.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Xperia z3 is currently saying "turn your phone off flight mode" before making a call, I don't have a network signal. The wifi is still working (that's how I'm writing this) so the phone isn't actually on flight mode. I've tried rebooting and resetting, turning flight mode on and off loads of times, and nothing.
This has started happening when the phone is switched off, last week it died during the night and this happened, and it just randomly came back on the next night. I switched it off this morning and I've not been able to get it on since.

My new sony xperia z2 has problem of screen lock automatically when i receive or make calls. I cant lock off screen pushing power button as mentioned in settings. Its completely turn dark and i have to wait until the other party hang off the phone.Specially when i mistakenly make a call i have no control on phone to cancel it because of automatically screen lock and same problem when making a call and converts into voice mail.
