constantly hit either reject or answer by accident all the time? It's supposed to be a slide to answer, slide to reject option but it reacts simply to just touching either button. I previously had a moto x and that you had to actually slide to answer or reject and it wouldn't react to simply touching the button.
View 3 Replies View RelatedEverytime the phone rings I press the button on the side and touch the unlock button on the screen, but before I can touch the answer button, or press the Green button the screen goes dark and locks then I have to do the side/unlock screen thing again.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there any way for my phone screen to not go to sleep while I am on a call and plugged in? I am on conference calls all day and want to put myself on mute, but when I need to get off mute, you have to do 3 things (home button, swipe, mute) because the phone goes to sleep. You obviously have to do more if it fully locks.Â
If I'm on a call and have the power plugged in, it shouldn't go to sleep unless I hit the sleep button.Â
It doesn't go to sleep when I am on speaker, but I prefer to use my headphones.

When making or receiving a call, the caller or the person I am calling cannot hear me. If I turn on speaker, they can hear me. This is a new iPhone 4, I traded in my 1 year old iPhone 4, because it also was having this issue, & the apple store staff could not fix it.
I have tried turning on/off, plugging in ear buds and unplugging them, cause I heard that could help, & syncing the phone. Nothing has worked yet that I have tried.

I not real flash with new phones but decided after recommendation to purchase the Xperia X10 mini/pro mobile phone.
Things look pretty cool but cannot work out how to hang up a call when the screen has gone to sleep. It seems I must push the centre button to get the screen illuminated then depress the icon to hang up.
This seems a little odd to have to push two buttons to hang up.... Have I missed an easier way?
I have a 6+ and I wonder if its sheer size is causing the issue.Â
When on a phone call the phone frequently leaves the screen on, or the screen constantly flashes on or off. Consequently I am dialling numbers or trying to do a facetime call whilst on a call or turning it to speaker phone etc.Â
This is very annoying and when talking to clients a little embarrassing.Â
I am on the latest update, and someone mentioned calibrating the compass, this has no effect. Not sure if its related but safari and mail will frequently not turn when I turn the phone.Â
Iphone 5S 8.0 - While I am on the phone to my ear, my screen will not darken causing my face to hit numbers, mute, face time, etc.

The screen goes to sleep after the specified time (default of 30 seconds, I have not changed that) even when on a call (both normal calling or when on speaker) Problem is, the only way to activate the screen again is to hit the power key, but this also hangs up the call. Is this a feature/bug, and is there a way around this issue? I don't really want to change the time to sleep to a longer time, as this would waste the battery for other use.
View 4 Replies View RelatedOn a few of occasions, I have had a second call coming through, I try to end the first call and answer the second except, that button is cleverly placed directly over the hangup button. The person on the first call has inevitably hung up before I could and now instead of switching calls, I hang up on the second caller. Â

I have noticed while on a call the screen will go dark, and when I go to end the call it does not light back up so I can see the end button. I find that I have to push the power button to get the screen to wake up so I can see the end button.

I've had my shiny Galaxy S6 for nearly three weeks now. I bought it SIM free. Really loving the phone, but I've noticed that when I try to answer a call, the phone hangs-up instead. I have good signal and I can ring the person back immediately. At first I thought I was hanging up with my cheek, but it happened when I was in slow traffic in my car yesterday. The phone was sat in a mount, connected to Bluetooth. I used the car's controls to answer and had the same issue.
I've spoken to people who call me, and they say the call just ends with a beep, it doesn't go to voice mail. I've tested calling my S6 from another mobile and a land line and the problem happens every time.
If I tap reject, the call is sent to voice mail, so I'm not pressing the wrong button.
I've tried:
-Enabling/disabling single tap mode
-Enabling home key to answer calls
-Wiping the phone's cache partition using the Android system recovery menu
-Using a Bluetooth headset to answer calls
-Uninstalling Three InTouch, my network's Wi-Fi call app (I can answer calls if they come through this app)
I'm in the UK. Phone is SM-G920F ZKABTU, baseband G920FXXU1AOE3, CSC version G920FBTU1AODQ. I haven't rooted it.

What is happenning? For everything else, unlocking the phone works normally.
I have just started using a Nokia E6 and I am having a problem answering an incoming call. My phone locks itself after 1 minute, which is fine, but when I receive an incoming call I am unable to activate the call by pressing the call button (left hand side button). Instead I have to unlock the phone and go through the menu's before I can answer my call.Surely this cannot be correct.

When a incoming call comes in and you answer the phone, 9 out of 10 times it hangs up as soon as you answer the phone.
I have the i9100 for over a month and already issues occur. One of them, the least annoying, is that when I answer the call and take the phone to the ear, I hear a click sound, something like a relay click when it closes.

View 5 Replies View RelatedOn asha 300, incoming calls can be answered via the touchscreen. How do I disable this behaviour? When I dig out the phone from my pocket, I frequently accidentally drop the call because the phone does not require the swipe gesture before accepting touchscreen input for incoming calls! Is it possible to set the phone to always require the swipe gesture? If not, then is it possible to set it up so that only the physical buttons can answer/drop calls?
