Motorola :: Answering Phone Call On Droid
May 4, 2010When my Droid rings, most of the time I am unable to swipe the unlock thing to the right to answer the call.
What is happenning? For everything else, unlocking the phone works normally.

Motorola Droid Turbo :: Big Delay When Answering A Call?
Aug 13, 2015Since the Lollipop update when I answer a call its a good 3-5 seconds before the person on the other end can hear me talking. I usually end up saying Hello? 3-4 times before they can hear me. My dad has it on his Turbo as well.

When I did the upgrade to Lollipop and got a new sims card and gave the phone to the wife.
When a incoming call comes in and you answer the phone, 9 out of 10 times it hangs up as soon as you answer the phone.

Sep 25, 2012this has started recently...when I answer the phone, I will hear the first word or two from the caller, then it goes "mute". The screen still shows that the call is connected, however, the caller and I are not able to hear each other. If I hang up and call them back, the phone works fine.

Jan 31, 2012When my BlueParrott Xpressway headset is connected to my Bionic and I answer a call using my headset, 50% of the time I get a loud blast of static that lasts anywhere from 4-10 seconds. After the static blast, the headset works just like it did with my old Devour. I also get the same static blast about 30% of the time when I try to use voice commands. I have tried taking calls in several locations, thinking I was getting some type of "noise" from something else, but I still got the static blast.

Yesterday I put it down on the table after answering a text and a few minutes later when I picked it up it was dead.It's not the battery...I recharged it all last night and it still will not turn on.I will take it back to the store since it is still under warranty. However has anyone experienced this before? And does anyone have a solution? Like maybe throw it against a brick wall?

May 22, 2012When making or receiving a call, the caller or the person I am calling cannot hear me. If I turn on speaker, they can hear me. This is a new iPhone 4, I traded in my 1 year old iPhone 4, because it also was having this issue, & the apple store staff could not fix it.
I have tried turning on/off, plugging in ear buds and unplugging them, cause I heard that could help, & syncing the phone. Nothing has worked yet that I have tried.

Galaxy S6 :: Answering A Call Seems To Hangup / Drop The Call
Jul 4, 2015I've had my shiny Galaxy S6 for nearly three weeks now. I bought it SIM free. Really loving the phone, but I've noticed that when I try to answer a call, the phone hangs-up instead. I have good signal and I can ring the person back immediately. At first I thought I was hanging up with my cheek, but it happened when I was in slow traffic in my car yesterday. The phone was sat in a mount, connected to Bluetooth. I used the car's controls to answer and had the same issue.
I've spoken to people who call me, and they say the call just ends with a beep, it doesn't go to voice mail. I've tested calling my S6 from another mobile and a land line and the problem happens every time.
If I tap reject, the call is sent to voice mail, so I'm not pressing the wrong button.
I've tried:
-Enabling/disabling single tap mode
-Enabling home key to answer calls
-Wiping the phone's cache partition using the Android system recovery menu
-Using a Bluetooth headset to answer calls
-Uninstalling Three InTouch, my network's Wi-Fi call app (I can answer calls if they come through this app)
I'm in the UK. Phone is SM-G920F ZKABTU, baseband G920FXXU1AOE3, CSC version G920FBTU1AODQ. I haven't rooted it.
IPhone 5s :: Has No Sound After Answering A Phone Call But Has Sound For Everything Else
Dec 2, 2014There is no sound when you answer or call out but there is sound for everything else. Not sure what else to try to get it working again, did a hard reset on it s few time but now thats not even working to fix the problem.

Then, when the proximity sensor was triggered when you removed the phone from your face, the screen would light-up, the phone screen woudl be present, and you would simply end the call. Now, when I remove the phone from my face I find the lock-screen, so I must first unlock it before I can end the call. I have searched for a settings to fix this and cannot locate what I need

Aug 14, 2011After completing a phone call or when the phone times out, it freezes and nothing will unlock it other than pulling the battery out. If I hard press the power button, the Phone Options screen will pop-up but none of the selection will work thru the touch-screen. While the [Phone Options] screen is open I can open the slide keyboard and use the mice-like button to scroll down and take the [Power off] option. Phone will work again after pulling the battery or powering it off thru the keyboard (at least this will save me the time of removing the battery).It seems that both actions (call and time out) send some kind to signal to the screen to lock it. When pressing the power button I will see the slide bar to unlock it but the screen is frozen and nothing will make it work. Luckily for Motorola the phone's warranty just expired (7/28/11).I have done both, Factory data reset and Wipe data/factory reset (Power key + "x") but nothing helped. I have looked out there in we but nothing similar.Does anyone have experienced this? - As you can imagine this is extremely painful and annoying. I ended up increasing the timeout to the max (30 minutes), but obviously jeopardized the battery life. I have to charge the phone almost every 2 hours.

Dec 13, 2012I just traded in an iPhone 4 so I'm just learning the Motorola system. I usually set my display to go off after 1 minute to save the battery. On the iPhone the screen will stay on during a phone call. On my RAZR M the display goes dark after 1 minute and I can't figure out how to re-light it. Hitting the power button ends the call. Is there a way to keep the screen on other than setting the time delay to 10 minutes?

Since September, only has happened like 3-4 times.I make a phone call - or someone calls me - and I can't hear them; nor them me. The green "connection" icon is active in the top bar - as is my DIALER (when I initiate the call - "END CALL" is active). When I call them, I never hear anything - including the normal dial out 'connection/ringing' sounds. They in fact DO get the ringing on their end and answer, but to them it appears as if nobody is on the line.I've tried just a simple AIRPLANE mode toggle, but that doesn't fix it. A Power reset of my phone fixes it every time. Has anyone else experienced this?

Dec 8, 2014I got an early release on the Fitbit Surge. Its awesome so far except my smartphone, a Motorola Droid Turbo, will not currently sync notifications for text and phone calls. I've emailed them asking about the problem. They say it is because "the Fitbit app is not currently supported by the Motorola Droid Turbo." The smart phone compatible list on their website does not show my phone, however the app works just fine and even syncs everything else the surge has to offer. Fitbit says they are working closely with smart phone manufactures to work out the Bluetooth 4.0 problems. The only instance that the I have any trouble is when I check the text and call notifications box in the Fitbit app for my surge.

Sep 21, 2011In the past - namely when I owned the Droid X - while in a call, I was able to press the volume up and volume keys successfully to adjust the in-call volume while I held the phone to my ear. Albeit the screen was turned off, the volume adjustment responded properly. I find now with the Bionic that I cannot adjust the volume while the phone is against my ear and that I actually have to move the phone far enough away from my face in order for the screen to turn back on and allow for the volume to be adjusted.
This causes me to miss part of the conversation, Matt can this be adressed or is there a setting I am missing?

The noise does not appear to occur when I am speaking - only when the other party speaks and this has happened on several calls with several people from different phone numbers and it does not matter whether they call me or I call themI had thought that noise issues were relegated to the audio portion of Zumocast, etc. through headphones, etc. as reported via other discussions, but now this issue has come up. I have one day left to return my phone and this is one thing I can not deal with.
