BB Torch :: Music Service Failed To Load On Desktop Software
Aug 14, 2011
When using my blackberry with my desktop software, my music sync failed to load. This is the message I get on my Desktop Software,Music service failed to load.An unexpected error occurred.
I have been using Blackberry Desktop Manager to sync my music to my phone. It has been working fine until yesterday when I plugged it in and it read 'Music services failed to load, an unexpected error occurred'. I have rebooted both the device and my laptop and it still won't work.
I have a Canadian Rogers Torch 9180, software 7.0.0.254, platfirn 5.0.0.451, available KB 167173.The phone is activated on our cloud Blackberry Administration Service with Exchange 365 and for some reason the CICAL service book is missing on the device so any calendar invites are blank. I have followed BB article KB10594 and on the BAS tried resending the service books. On the device properties it does say that the last transaction was delievered and nothing I can see has failed. Obviously since the CICAL book is missing I am unable to delete and undelete it as per the KB article.
We only have one default IT policy and others are on it without any issues. And yes I have double checked that nothing is disabled in the PIM sync in the policy. We do not have any Groups setup, everyone is under the default group. Not using any other calendar apps on the phone. In the BAS it does say that the Wireless calendar is Disabled but there's no way I can see in the BAS to enable the calendar.
Each time I attempt to load the program, it locks up and the new window is shaded in grey. Cant open any options or click any icons. I followed the instructions for a clean install (twice) and downloaded the latest version of desktop manager.
I am running windows xp-64 bit and I have a bb curve 8310 with ATT.
I just loaded up the Desktop Manager from Blackberry's website but when I click on the icon to start it I get the attached message. I also loaded the software from the CD in the box with the same result.I can't do anything from here. Saving the file Desktop doesn't fix it. If I click on Find I get a message saying the filetype htmlfile is not found.
Whenever I try downloading music or videos it would begin the downloading then in the process it just stops and says "download failed" just wondering what I could do because it always happens even if its on 3G. I'm currently using a Torch.
I am using Nokia 5230 handset, running with 50.0.001 firmware version, now when I try to open Music player, it shows me a blank-black screen. I am not able to listen any of my music file.
I am trying to erase all the music from my iPhone and then load a new music library. In iTunes I go to Music > Sync Music > Entire music library, then attempt to Sync. I get the "this will erase all the music on the iPhone" message, I say OK. I then get a dialog "The iPhone cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all the items in the iTunes library....."
The new library is about half the size of the library on the iPhone, so it is obviously not erasing.
Selecting "Motocast Computers" in the Files Application the computer shows that it is online. When selecting my specific computer it returns a "Failed to load content. Please try again." message. This used to work and show folders and files. My WiFi and data connection is working but cannot resolve this.
I'm using BB Bold 9900 and a Mac running on OSX 10.5.8 and downloaded the BBDS. I wanted to update my phone's OS into 7.1 and as I'am updating it get stuck on backing up social feeds then gives me a message saying "BlackBerry® Desktop Software failed to backup your BlackBerry® device. The device was disconnected."
I have a Blackberry Curve 8530 that I sync using the Desktop Manager for my calendar, tasks, etc. I have several Notes in Outlook that I also want to sync. I have gone to my sync options and selected that I want to sync my Notes, but it doesn't seem to be working. I can't find the Notes on my Blackberry where they say it should be and I do not see errors in my Logs.
My Ovi Music software started three days ago telling me an error message, when trying to start the program "automatic login failed, please try again manually" and it keeps on doing this for hours. I am not able to stop this process and so it is not possible to try that manual login! Now I am not able to download any music with my OVI Music Unlimited account.
When I'm opening Service Status from "Options and Status" I see the "Blackberry Internet Service" as "Not Connected" although I've Blackberry service and I'm successfully using IM, synchronize my E-Mails, and Browsing the internet without any WiFi connection.
I downloaded bbm 7 and now it says that it failed to register with the blackberry messenger service, it also says make sure that your device time is set correctly or open the my profile screen and check the blackberry messenger status and I can't find it.
I Just Installed BlackBerry Desktop Manager V5.01 and it wouldn't pick up my phone even though it's connected. I tried accessing the the BlackBerry Device Manager and it says 'The application has failed to start because XmlLite.dll was not found. Re-Installing the application may fix this problem.' - Of which I have done twice already. Is there a problem with this version of Desktop manager or any resolutions to fix this? I'm trying to upgrade my device to OS6.
For the past few days I have tried installing some applications from the Ovi store but I always get the same error message (in Norwegian): "En kritisk intern tjeneste har mislyktes" (A critical internal service has failed). Why is this happening and what can be done to fix it? I have the Nokia X6, 16 GB, with firmware v 20.0.005. The message appears shortly after entering the ovi store on my phone. It used to work just fine..
Via connwcted Bluetooth between my Blackberry Bold 9900 and my iMAC, I can not transfer photo from the Blackberry to the iMac. I keep get the above message! What is going on with this device?

I recently purchased X6-00 8GB. I have activated Ovi Music Unlimited on my laptop. But I am unable to download even one song. The download starts and then after 10-50%, the download restarts. Over and over again. After multiple attempts, I get the message 'Download failed'. Really frustrating.I saw that this type of error is already being discussed, but I could find any solution posted.
I am trying to update the OS to a Blackberry Bold 9900, I downloaded the official OS version from the wepbage. and the Desktop manager starts to erase the applications but, then, it stays in the Reconnecting to JVM message.
I bought a second hand bb 9700 3 months ago. I had the phone on pre-paid BIS + Airtime so I could have access to the internet, bb messenger, gmail email, and phone-related uses. The phone worked fine with no issues whatsoever. Last week, I tried calling someone and received the message - Call Failed. I thought it was credit so I tried loading airtime on the phone. When I did that I received the following message: Supplementary Service Error: General Error.
It's been 1.5 weeks and still the phone does not work: The phone has perfect coverage indicator. The phone has working BIS, BB messenger and internet. The phone cannot work the telephony part of it - calls (outgoing/incoming, SMS, MMS). I cannot call anyone, cannot check Voicemail, cannot load airtime. I have tried re-sending service books, hard reset pulling the battery out, manually registering with the wireless network.
