I get the above error message when trying to send music from my laptop or other mobile device to my BB Bold 9700, I have stax of memory so thats not the problem, the bizarre thing is that I have done this before but it doesnt seem to allow me to do it now. A few days ago all my music and photos that I had on my mobi just disappeared, so hence trying to put my music back on and it wont let me.
My sister and I have bb 8310's and are having trouble sending anything via bluetooth. We have found each other in the past because were on each other phones but when we try to send it comes up failed to find service. I thought when we downloaded the new v4.5 software on the phones it would take care of it but it still isn't working.
Just bought my new LG800 Chocolate through Sasktel and I am trying to find the drivers for the USB file transfer but cant find them. Can someone point me in the right direction to get the file transfer set up
Does anyone have any luck enabling 'file transfer service' option via bluetooth share (if the option is ever available)? many of the bluetooth phones have the 'file transfer service option' to share pictures and ringtones via mobile to mobile. i can have the ringtones, etc transferred to and from my computer using bitpim and a usb cable, but it's so inconvenient when someone's asking to share ringtones that I have on my phone. any help would be appreciated.also, if anyone has figured out using a bluetooth dongle with a bitpim, please share. I have the blue soleil but the bitpim does not recognize the com port created with a bluetooth.
I can't find the "blackberry attachment service" file in my application list can I download one? I also looked in Options / Advanced Options / Modules, And don't have "net_rim_bb_attachment" file? How do I proceed from here?
i tried to transfer some pictures with a friend today using bt. he's on a verizon lg vx8800 or something like that. it let us connect and send files, but once they finished downloading, it said file not compatible. what gives? they're both .jpg files which i know both of our phones support. some pics were downloaded on the phones and some that were taken with the phone's camera. is it something in the bt settings or is it something with the bold? or something between the carriers (wouldn't think this since bt is supposedly a separate connection that should have to do with the carrier)?
I bought a second hand bb 9700 3 months ago. I had the phone on pre-paid BIS + Airtime so I could have access to the internet, bb messenger, gmail email, and phone-related uses. The phone worked fine with no issues whatsoever. Last week, I tried calling someone and received the message - Call Failed. I thought it was credit so I tried loading airtime on the phone. When I did that I received the following message: Supplementary Service Error: General Error.
It's been 1.5 weeks and still the phone does not work: The phone has perfect coverage indicator. The phone has working BIS, BB messenger and internet. The phone cannot work the telephony part of it - calls (outgoing/incoming, SMS, MMS). I cannot call anyone, cannot check Voicemail, cannot load airtime. I have tried re-sending service books, hard reset pulling the battery out, manually registering with the wireless network.
i've just got my Blackberry bold 9900, However when trying to transfer a call, and select complete transfer, it says cal transfer failed, I've searched around for help via google but can't seem to find anything.
I have updated my BB 9900 to the new OS 7.1 as per the website to have good features on my blackberry such as WIFI HOTSPOT and FM Radio. But I failed to find any icons in my BB setup and profile or setting. Can any one guide how to do it in step by step manner?
first post here, although I've been lurking to try and solve my problem. My Bold is on BES to my work mail servers, connected to a PC running Vista Enterprise (32)I have been trying to copy files etc. to the Bold from my PC. I downloaded the Desktop Manager (4.7). I connect the BB and can use Mass Storage Mode, the PC sees the 2 drives (system and SD card) and I can navigate through the folders like any other drive. I copied a couple of fairly small jpegs over OK. However, if I try to copy say a folder of MP3s or jpegs, it tries for a few seconds and then just hangs up - maybe the first file manages over to the BB. I tried with Media Sync to make a new playlist, but although the software recognized it OK, it wouldn't copy the files over. I see a lot of posts about the PC not seeing the BB as a mass storage device - that is not my problem, rather it sees the device, but I can't copy anything to it.
I am using the blackberry bold 9700,i updated my software and it wiped out my phone,on re-installing all the software's,whatsapp, facebook etc works fine but for some reason my BBM wouldnt work at all,i tried activating my e-mail account(Enterprise Activation) but i keep getting this "Activation request failed. A service connection is unavailable".
I have just received my new BB Bold (an upgrade from the Curve) and am having difficulties in setting it up. I am on a UK O2 unlimited Internet Tariff (BIS). I used to be on the O2 BES tariff but could no longer justify the exorbitant costs.
I want to use my Bold to receive emails from my office in the US which has BB Enterprise Server. I have got the activation password from my colleagues in the US but it will NOT activate at all (even left it for an hour retrying).
So: 1. Can I have BB Enterprise integration even when I am on a BIS service - My colleague who is on Orange BIS had not problems at all, he just went through the Activation process with his BB password and it worked straight away.
In lieu of getting this working I set up my email account as a POP3 account (my company runs Outlook WebMail as well), this receives email and allows me to send, however the reconciliation does not work.
Here is what I have discovered so far: a) If I read an email on my BB it changes the status on my outlook to 'read' b) If I send an email on my BB it puts a copy in my sent Items folder on my Outlook c) if I read an email on my Outlook it does NOT change it to read on my BB d) If I send an email from my Outlook it DOES not add it on my BB e) Nothing changes if I use the Reconcile Now option
My Reconciliation settings on my BB are; Wireless Reconcile - ON Conflicts - Mailbox Wins
I have deleted and recreated the account but no change. So, I thought I can live with this as long as I can synchronize with my laptop every day using BB Desktop Manager (another painful piece of software). Here I have several problems:
I set it up as an Internet Service (not Enterprise) and the program loads OK (as long as you don't install Media manager - Another great piece of software - NOT).When I go into Synchronize Configuration Settings, the 'Reconcile Messages' box is greyed out so therefore I cannot reconcile messages using the Desktop manager.
So, putting that to one side, I attempted to configure Synchronization for my Calendar and Contacts, using Microsoft Outlook Profile and Two Way Sync. Each time I go through the process for each setting I get and error message after I press Finish.Error Messages is - 'Cannot Find System in Table File'
I've been having issues with my phone all day long today. I was in the middle of a phone call and all of a sudden, I hear that little tone where you call a number that's no longer in service and it says "call failed". Is it my phone or is it an AT&T problem?
I downloaded bbm 7 and now it says that it failed to register with the blackberry messenger service, it also says make sure that your device time is set correctly or open the my profile screen and check the blackberry messenger status and I can't find it.
Trying to get my 6120c to connect to my SIP service provider, no success at all, certain that the settings are correct from the service provider side but whenever it tries to login I just instantly get "registration failed"Email and web browsing both work fine, current settings are; public username; email@example.com use compression; no registration; always on use security; no proxy server info all blank, loose routing allowed, transport udp, port 5060 registrar server;address; sip.syd.net2max.com (when I put this in the software automatically appends sip:sip.syd.net2max.com)realm; sip.syd.net2max.com (have also tried just net2max.com and nothing) username; (id) password; (password) transport type; udp port; 5060
For the past few days I have tried installing some applications from the Ovi store but I always get the same error message (in Norwegian): "En kritisk intern tjeneste har mislyktes" (A critical internal service has failed). Why is this happening and what can be done to fix it? I have the Nokia X6, 16 GB, with firmware v 20.0.005. The message appears shortly after entering the ovi store on my phone. It used to work just fine..
I seem to be regularly getting "Workout upload to service failed invalid data" when uploading from Sports tracker. All the data looks complete on the phone and will export to KML/GPX and import to something like mapmyride OK.Does anyone have a workaround for this? It'd be nice if the sportstracker site could import GPX etc over the web. Please post here if youi're getting this problem, it'd be nice to know I'm not suffering alone BTW, I'm on a 6220 Classic.
