Whenever I try downloading music or videos it would begin the downloading then in the process it just stops and says "download failed" just wondering what I could do because it always happens even if its on 3G. I'm currently using a Torch.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI cannot begin to tell you the frustrating experience I have had trying to load Ovi Maps 3.03 onto my N97. Suffice it to say that every step of the way has been a painful experience that has seriously threatened my loyalty to a brand that I have always been loyal to. I'm still not there yet. Having followed instructions and loaded the latest version of firmware (20.0.019) via my PC, the automatic loading software then loaded version 3.01 of Ovi Maps (WHY wasn't 3.03 loaded? - it's the latest version!). I proceeded to the Software Updater app on my PC to upload the latest version (3.03). It did recognize the latest version and proceeded to download the software to my PC for installation onto my phone. During the upgrade to my phone, the installation failed and a message appeared "Installation failed 6:19".
I tried to install again, but using the updater app on my PC, it doesn't recognize the need for an upgrade to 3.03 (does it think the upgrade has worked?). Back to my phone to try using the software updater app installed there. It does recognize the fact that a later version of Ovi Maps is available and allows me to try and install it, and a message appears "Installing Ovi Maps with free navigation (1 of 1)", however seconds later another message appears "Result: 1 update failed View update history". Clicking on the View bit helpfully takes me to the log, which unhelpfully shows the message "Ovi Maps with free navigation Installation failed at 6:25" and NO OTHER information about why the installation failed or what to do to recover it. So now I am stuck with an updater on the PC which doesn't recognize the need to do an update and an updater on the phone, which does recognize the need, but fails EVERY time.
When I press on the video, it loada as if it will download but then stops, tried so many times! File size is 2.4mb. Strange that videos have worked before though.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen downloading music from the Ovi Music website using N8 (which came with unlimited music), the downloader makes the download, but gives error code 0x800704C7 at the end. Artist & album name folders get created on the device, but no songs are found therein. I tried again after cleanin web browser, deleting the blank folders from N8 etc, but doesn't help. Re-installing cable drivers & Ovi suite (& all other Nokia-ware on PC) also didn't help. (I rebooted before reinstalling & thereafter).The error persists in any connection type- Ovi suite, media transfer etc.

I cannot download a single song from the pc application, the downloads resets every time. I am yet to downaload a single song from there. Emails to the support desk has not been replied back.

Not sure how this changed. Use to be able to simply view videos and photos on websites, but now they must be downloaded to be viewed, which isn't ideal. Would love to go back to just viewing, but can't find settings to make this happen anywhere.

The download starts and then after 10-50%, the download restarts. Over and over again. After multiple attempts, I get the message 'Download failed'. I tried it with ACDsee Photo Manager and Adobe Photoshop too, but it always failed, and an error message comes out everytime 'Can't write output file'. I have the right Security settings in the Lumia 900 Photos Folder Properties, but it seems like the Lumia 900 have a special file security system, and I don't have permission to modify my own photos.

In attempting to do so, I received a message saying "More request cannot be completed. Service book information not found." I also received this message when trying to email a photo to my blackberry. This never use to happen in past blackberries I have owned.
How do I fix this "service book information not found" issue ?
I get the Message "System Update failed while downloading. Restart the device and try again" every time I try to update.

I am trying to download that music from my Blackberry to my PC (Windows XP, I have Blackberry Sync downloaded and Media Player 11). When I plug my phone into my PC, all of my songs disappear on the Music screen. So they are not there to sync. It says, To see files, disconnect from the PC.

I regularly buy and download music from the Amazon Music App. For the past few weeks after I purchase a song and download it to my device it is no where to be found. I dug around in my phone files and found my Taylor Swift songs in a folder. Here is the path: SD card> android> data> com.amazon.mp3> files> music> private> taylor swift>speak now
But they are .m4a files and cant be played on my music app. I don't want to have to download a new music player app, i just want everything back how it used to be.

I used to have a Bold, now I have a Torch.Now the problem is the following: on the Bold I had one BES email (I am the IT Manager of my company) and three BIS accounts (private mails).I moved the BES account on the Torch, no problem, but the three BIS accounts do not move for some reason.
I go to Setup=>Email accounts and the device reports correctly that "A new BlackBerry device has been detected. you mustmove email account(s) to resume email delivery to your BlackBerry device. Email delivery to your old device has been stopped."Following the list of three email accounts I want on the Torch.
I click "Move" and for any single email I have a screen that says "Device change successful. Validate your email account"I type email password for each account, click "continue", receive the message "Your password has been successfully validated.", click OK and exit setup and nothing happens.I still have the BES account but there is no trace of the three BIS accounts.I go back to Setup and the procedure starts again from the beginning.I am on Vodafone UK and the three email accounts are on Apple MobileMe (@me.com)
Im using x6 16gb and downloaded around 50 songs and were at high kbps ratings. But now suddenly the application is downloading songs only at 64 kbps. When not logged in app shows high bitrate of a particular song (192-256) but after logging in, it shows bitrate of the same song as 64 kbps?
